EXERCISE 1:
A man wants to lift a stone with a 7m length crowbar. The stone
weights 150Kg and it is 2m from the pivot. Draw the diagram of the mechanism,
showing its elements, and work out the effort force needed by the man.

EXERCISE 2:
We have a wheelbarrow where the distance from the handle to the wheel
is 1.5m and the distance from the wheel to the load is 0.3m. We want to move a
90Kg weight. Draw the diagram of the mechanism, showing its elements, and
work out the effort force we need to apply.

EXERCISE 3:
How far from the fulcrum should the girl be placed to have the see-saw balanced.

EXERCISE 4:

In a see-saw the fulcrum is not in the middle of the crowbar. The boy is 0,5m away from
the fulcrum and the girl is 1m away.
If the boy weights 45 Kgs, What effort should the girl make to lift the see-saw?

EXERCISE 5:

If I have a 500Kg effort force, How many kilos could I lift with the following wheelbarrow?
