INTRODUCTION

Like everyone else, you were born into bondage. Into a prison
that you cannot taste or see or touch. A prison for your mind.
Morpheus

Have you ever wondered why violent movies are so popular in


an age when everyone advises that we need more peace?
It is because the same person who promotes peace memes
and the end of violence in Rio de Janeiro on her Facebook page,
the one who says she hates the way she is (violently) treated by
colleagues, parents, teachers and bosses by day, allows herself
to go to the movies and watch hundreds of people being
murdered, where blood is shed mercilessly, at night.
Likewise, it is the same celebrity actress or actor who appears
in violent movies killing all those people, the one to adopt
African children, right after their heinous role, in an attempt to
help end hunger and real violence in Africa as well as deliver a
peace message to the entire world.
Violence in the movies is still allowed because, though our
streets are becoming more peaceful with each passing day, we
still arent at peace within ourselves. So, we pay to see a
reflection of what is actually happening inside us in a movie.
This means that the best way to interpret the violence you see
in a movie is to realize that it is symbolic and metaphorical.
The best violent movie that explores this fact is The Matrix,
starring Keanu Reeves as Neo, and Laurence Fishburne III as

Morpheus. This is a wonderful film, full of clues, on how we live


and how violence gets graded to a higher level in our society,
but does not cease to exist at all.
When you see bullets being shot in The Matrix you can clearly
make the connection between those physical bullets and other
more insidious and very subtle metaphorical (but very real)
bullets that are aimed and shot at you all the time, since you
were born, born into bondage as Morpheus says.
In The Matrix, Neo represents the future savior, the one
person who is still bonded to a huge enslaving system, but who
will be able to save everyone else after he frees his mind.
Morpheus represents someone who has already freed his own
mind and to help Neo do the same.
The Matrix is the best metaphor that I could ever find for the
way we actually live in our human society at the beginning of
the 21st century. As the author, I feel like Morpheus, putting
all my hopes on his Neo that is you, my reader, instructing and
encouraging you to free your mind and become the savior that
we need to change the world and make it a better place.
By deciding to read this book, FEEL BETTER 24/7/365, you
already took the red pill, while I will tell you: all Im offering
is the truth, nothing more. The truth that will set you free!
You have to let it all go, Neo. Fear, doubt, and disbelief. Free
your mind. is what Morpheus tells Neo before he jumps from
one very high building on to the next.
This is the same kind of stuff you will be reading through the
pages of this book, fear, doubt and disbelief will need to go
away before you can feel real freedom, before you feel better
than you are feeling right now.

Besides that it will be empowering you to grow and become a


stronger and better you, someone who will believe so much in
himself/herself that he/she will actually be able to save the
world!
If at this point you, like Neo, ask me What are you trying to
tell me? That I can dodge bullets? I will simply tell you: No,
Neo. I'm trying to tell you that when you're ready, you won't
have to.
Metaphorically speaking, bullets are none other than negative
messages that are literally fired at you all the time since you
were born. Negative messages that were meant to keep you in
bondage and believing that feeling bad is good for you.
Those messages come from parents, friends, co-workers,
bosses, TV, Internet, outdoor ads, etc. and are programmed into
your subconscious mind to make you produce an outcome.
If you are reading this book that has the very bold tag line
The Fastest Way to Attract What You Want I can only assume
that you are not satisfied with that old outcome anymore,
which is a very good sign.
Your dissatisfaction with your current results is exactly what
makes me put all my hopes in you.
If you were satisfied and comfortable with your current
situation, I wouldnt be able to help you. You wouldnt be worth
all the work needed to unplug you from The Matrix.
But if you want to attract better health, more money, better
relationships, better cars, better houses, a better lifestyle
overall, filled with great trips to luxury places, even as you

too, then I am here willing and inspired to help you go the


distance.
With this help your growth will happen and your mind will be
set free, allowing you to attract what you want as fast as you
can. But this will only happen as long as you are able to let go of
what you currently have going on in your mind. All the inner
turmoil and violence will need to cease, fade and be banished
forever.
You will need to be very open to be taught and disciplined to
put my suggestions to work in your benefit. Dont allow yourself
to think that it is enough to read this book just once. Read it
over and over again until all its ideas and concepts sink into
your subconscious mind and provide you with a huge inner
transformation.
When this happens you will feel so excited and exhilarated,
you will feel so much better, that you will never want to return
to your old negative ways of thinking again.
Although the main message of this book is very simple with
the title explaining its content, you still need to do your
homework of reading and practicing the book instructions,
techniques and exercises in order to achieve the results that
you desire.
It was said that you need to think to grow rich. It was said that
you need to thing big to achieve big results. It was also said that
you need to thing bigger to really make a difference and
accomplish bigger changes in your life.
All this is very true, but even if all of us humans have the right
to think, which is what separates us from every other species,
very few of us really do use this right. Once you start to think for

yourself and to have and implement your own ideas you will be
realizing that you dont have much competition.
As Helen Keller says, People dont like to think, if one thinks,
one must reach conclusions. Conclusions are not always
pleasant. This is especially so in the beginning of the process of
freeing your mind from negative conditioning. The conclusions
that you may reach with your thinking may be deceiving, but
you need to keep thinking things through despite the
unpleasant answers that will come up and this will help you
change your way of thinking till it doesnt deceive you anymore.
As Henry Ford said Whether you think you can, or you think
you can't -- you're right. It is the way you think that makes it
so.
In this book you will learn a very effective way to think to
make sure that you CAN!
You will learn that although your thoughts do matter for
whatever you may want to accomplish, there are other very
important components to enable you to reach your goals which
are your feelings and actions!
Thoughts, empty of feelings, are worthless and lead to hollow
actions.
But thoughts impregnated with powerful feelings will and
have already led to actions that literally changed the world on
countless occasions of our history as a whole and in peoples
everyday lives too.
Besides that, monitoring your thoughts and assuring that they
are always the right positive ones to reach your goals can stop
you from behaving like a dog trying to bite his own tail. You can
and must use affirmations and other self-suggesting ways to

seed new ideas in your subconscious mind. But you do need a


more effective way to know if you are doing your job right and
are going in the right direction, even as you practice, to get to
the places you want to go and accomplish the goals you want to
reach.
The proposition of this book is very simple yet powerful and is
indeed in its cover: by focusing on feeling good now and doing
your best to keep feeling better, you are assuring yourself that
you are thinking right in order to attract the right things and
people to help you reach your wildest goals.
To feel emotionally better must be your main goal at all times,
because this habit will ensure that you are allowing your body
to act right while you are also sending out the right vibrations to
attract the good that you desire.
Learning that you need to feel better and that feeling bad is
definitely not good for you is the ultimate truth, the magic red
pill that you need to take to be able to sign your own

Its quite likely that you didnt quite get that yet.
But, hopefully, by the end of your reading, you will GET IT!
If, for any reason, you are unable to get it, dont feel

All I am trying to tell you is that when you're ready, you won't
have to dodge bullets anymore. In fact, you will keep feeling
better even if they are fired at you from all directions.
You will literally be free to think and feel the way you want
and this will lead you to attract all that you desire as fast as you
can.

be improved and rearranged in a very strong and powerful way
that will turn your physical reality (outer world) to be a real
dream world where everything is possible.
From inside out, you will turn the word impossible into the
affirmation of inner power IM POSSIBLE!
You will know and be 100% certain that you CAN!!!
But to do that you still need to understand why Im so fervent
about this message, repeating it ever so often, which now leads
me to tell you a very significant part of my story.
Id like to tell you how I began my own freeing process around
27 years ago.
Ironically, it began with violence. It began with a horses kick

CHAPTER 1
1987
Dying is not the worst thing that can happen to you
...living enslaved to a bad conditioning is!

E nslaved conditioning. That is what kept me from


manifesting my dream for the last 27 years of my life.
I had the freedom to dream a big dream of glory, fame and
power, but sadly I was a slave to a negatively-conditioned mind
that destroyed it all for a while. However, a prediction from a
mysterious stranger, a glimmer of hope, remained in my mind
all through the dismal years of my enslavement till it
subconsciously urged me to seek the truth. A truth so powerful,
so wonderful, that it set me free. It has changed my life and set
me ablaze with passion. It has shown me who I truly am. My
dream has come, symbolically, true.
So here I am eager to share this wonderful and liberating truth
with you and trust that you too are set free from an enslaved
mind to follow your dream, your vision and all that you want to
have and be.
This is my story.

You will become the President of your country. said Dr.


Benkendorfer to me only an hour after I had met him on the
25th of December around 9 p.m. We were seated in a bar near

the very luxurious and expensive Schwarzer Bock Hotel in


Wiesbaden, Germany. The year was 1987.
Dr. Benkendorfer was a very tall man in his late 50s, with grey
hair and a pulsating aura of authority. He spoke with a strong
voice that made me listen carefully to every word he spoke. But
what he had just told me was completely amazing!
Here I was, a 22-year-old engineer, with no money in my
pocket, sharing oysters and drinks with this erudite stranger
who made a profound statement that I had dreamed about!
The astonishing fact was that I wasnt amazed by what he said
but that he said it. You see, in a certain sense, I had been
waiting for someone who already knew who I was to appear
in my lifeand he did on Christmas day.
How did I know this?
Lets backtrack to the beginning of 1987 when I was in Brazil.
I had just graduated as an Engineer at the beginning of this
year. That excitement was short-lived when I had a terrible
accident in February. I was kicked in the mouth by one of my
fathers horses and lost five teeth in the process. To make
matters worse, it was exactly a day after my orthodontist had
removed the tooth device that I had worn, painfully, for 10
whole months prior to this incident. Now, I had to wear
temporary prosthetic teeth.
Yet, despite this bad beginning, things were going to take a
powerful turn for the better.
A few weeks after that accident, my mother took me to attend
a mind control course that lasted a whole week with 2-3 hours
each night of lectures and trainings that were held in an
amphitheater of a schools building in Porto Alegre, Brazil. It

was a powerful course of practicing visualization in the alpha


state. I strongly believed in these course studies for it made
perfect sense to me. I learned to practice entering alpha states
and visualizing what I desired to happen in my life at least twice
a day, as soon as I awoke in the morning and just before
sleeping at night. I must say these visualizations in my alpha
state brought forth many miracles, serendipities and
coincidences throughout the year right until this very unusual
celebration on Christmas day with a complete stranger far away
from my home and family.
One of my desires that I visualized while in alpha state was to
become president of the world. It did not come as a surprise
to me that Dr. Bekendorfer, who lived miles away in USA, could
tune into my inner desires, while I lived in Germany, and state
that I would become the president of my country. I had been
living in Germany, since October of 1987, because of a
scholarship I received from Darmstadt University. It was for a
Computer Graphics research study.
After that enjoyable evening and astonishing prediction, I
ended up spending the next 7 days with Dr. Benkendorfer who
taught me some interesting stuff about wisdom and power that
would help me become a president not just of the world but
of any kind. It was, for me, an unimaginable step to take at the
moment, especially as I had not been a leader of any group of
people to which I had belonged. I only knew I had deep desire
to become President.
On January 1st, 1988, Dr. Benkendorfer left Wiesbaden and I
was on my own again. I returned to the student building in

Darmstadt city, West Germany where I had endured the last of


those freezing winters before the fall of the Berlin wall.
About a night later, after the meeting with Dr. Benkendorfer,
for no particular reason, I took a flight to Frankfurt. The next
morning, tired but bolstered with confidence that I would
become the president of my country very soon, I checked into
the Sheraton Hotel, using only my passport. No credit card was
required for a hotel check-in at that time. There I was all alone
with no money and no contacts, not even a cell phone (there
were none in those days) and only a big dream.
But, over the course of the next five days after realizing,
disappointingly, that there was no sign of paparazzi trying to
interview me and/or take pictures of me, despite my avid and
intense visualization for them to appear, I lost confidence and I
felt I was not prepared to be president. I had watched a lot of
movies by then and cried alone in my room. Finally, I decided to
check out of that very expensive hotel and return to Darmstadt.
But, I had to leave behind my clothes and other personal
belongings as a guarantee for my debt that I had incurred while
I stayed at the hotel.
I was depressed and disillusioned and there was just no more
motivation or confidence left in me. Instead of making it on my
own monetarily and going ahead with some promising
entrepreneurial projects that I had on hand at that time, I
waited for the money that my parents finally sent me and three
months later I flew back to Porto Alegre, Brazil, to live out one
of the most depressive phases of my life!
However, with time the depression passed and so did the next
27 years of my life where I finished my masters degree course

in Computer Science, made a career as a microelectronics


engineer, lived abroad again, met and married a wonderful
woman who bore me an amazingly smart daughter, wrote a
book, built a house, planted a tree, had a golden retriever
among many other things but still didnt become the president
of anythingYET!
But this dream was far from over. Today, I am happy to say
that my dream has come true. I am a president, not of a
country but of myself and I know with complete confidence
thats just the beginning of more to come. In a way, I am happy
to not be president of a country. Although, I admire presidents
like Obama and Lula, I dont really envy them. I dont think they
have a lot of freedom, for I have come to realize that Im a
FREEDOM LOVER, more than anything else!
It was exactly this love for freedom that kept me, during the
last 27 years, wondering what had happened to me during
those freezing days at the end of 1987 in Germany. Why didnt I
keep moving forward and upward in my success spiral fast
track? How did Dr. Benkendorfer know who I was and what I
wanted to accomplish? Why did I start sabotaging my own plans
to reach my goals? And how can I start all over again attracting
a huge group of people who will give me the honor by electing
me as their leader?
So here I am, writing this book, with the answers to these
questions and what I call the missing links of the law of
attraction and mind control techniques. I hope you can benefit
from learning and applying these missing links to your own life,
with results as big as the ones Im currently enjoying. Its
important to mention that, although it took me almost 27 years

to crack the code of the law of attraction, it was only during


the last three months that I made the most significant
improvements, by having access to personal improvement
priceless gems from the past which had a huge impact on me
and were essential in cracking that code.

A WORD OF CAUTION:
Keep reading at your own risk only if you are serious
about making mind-blowing improvements in your life.

If you have a dream as wild as I did, many years ago and wish to
manifest it, my advice to you then is to start your own powerful
journey by becoming your own president, just the way I did. Dr.
Benkendorfer was right.
How do you begin your journey? You do that by beginning to
feel better right now!
Why? It is the singularly most important key that will open all
doors right where you are today to right where you want to
reach in the future!
This is the fastest way to attract what you want! Its that
simple. Lets discover the secrets this book will unfold that can
help you manifest your dreams as it did mine.

iYou!
You dont get what you want, you get what you are.

T he city of Miami, in particular, holds great excitement for


me, my wife, Marisa and daughter, Naomi. It was an
amazing event hosted in this city that gave me the final push to
write this book.
There are several other reasons why we love to go to USA!
One of them is, quite naturally, shopping! There are fantastic
shopping outlets with great prices (of course that is the Number
1 priority for my wife and daughter and as I am in the minority, I
go along but do enjoy this just the same). However, its not just
shopping that we love. We love books too. So, whenever we
are in the USA, we make it a point to visit at least one Barnes &
Noble Library. This last trip alone saw us spend USD 700 in less
than one week on books!
But, there is also something very important we must do
religiously when we are in the USA and that is to call on the
Apple Store or Sanctuary (thats how I refer to it). Its the
coolest technology store on Earth! Though I already possess an
iPad and an iPhone; Marisa, an iPhone and Naomi, an iPod, our
desktops and laptops are all Windows-based, so I cant help
wondering how my life would improve if I had a MacBook Pro

and more of the iThings that have originated from Steve Jobs
technological legacy.
My conclusion, as an online business owner, is that a MacBook
Pro could indeed, and will really, improve my productivity. Ill
certainly buy it at the right time for my business I thought. That
was the plan.

HOW TO BECOME iYOU


But, an internet marketing coach, Jim Van Wyck, whom I hired
last year, taught me a valuable lesson. He said that with the
MacBook Pro my work would be only 5% faster in doing the
stuff Im already doing with my Windows-based PCs and that
there would be a learning curve to adapt to a new computer
too. It was this remark that changed my focus from an iThing
to an iMe! It made me realize that I was focusing on iThings
to make my business grow rather than on me! Jim turned my
attention to the business and on me. Sure enough, that shift in
focus made it grow and I even improved myself all at the same
time! I now became aware of my potential. The iThing was no
longer important. It was the iMe.

1. CHANGE YOUR FOCUS


So instead of buying another iThing I focused on becoming an
iMe!
This is an essential to help you feel better. Change your focus
to becoming iYou!
You see, there is a fallacy in our way of thinking, which keeps
us running around like rats in a maze: if I just had that thing,
my life would be much better or I could be successful! Apple

and all other companies out there know this fallacy and take
advantage of this fact.

2. IMPROVE YOURSELF BEFORE IMPROVING ANYTHING


ELSE
While its ok to go to a shopping mall and buy clothes that will
make you feel better (especially if you are NOT in debt, of
course!), its not the same if you start an online business with
the similar mentality. You will find yourself broke and frustrated
sooner than you imagine.
Its not buying stuff publicized by those many emails that
appear on your inbox everyday that will lead you to succeed
online, offline or anywhere else! This will NOT improve your life.
If you sincerely want those material things for you and your
family, the key is to improve yourself first.
Heres the secret: Instead of buying an iThing, you need to
become iYou!
If you look at all those iThings, they dont really seem so
interesting from the outside, unless you start working with
them. Then, they come alive and interact with you in a way that
no other device on this planet can do!
Do you know that its not really the physical part of those
iThings that allow them to do what they do? Its the
programming inside them that is responsible for all the magic!
The same reasoning applies to you too!

3. UPGRADE OR CHANGE YOUR


PROGRAMMING/SUBCONSCIOUS CONDITIONING
As T. Harv Eker, the author of Secrets of the Millionaire Mind
says: Programming leads to thoughts; thoughts lead to
feelings; feelings lead to actions; actions lead to results.
So if you are not satisfied with the results you are getting or if
you simply want to receive better ones, you need to change or
upgrade your subconscious programming (a.k.a. conditioning)
first.
Once you acquire a new programming that ultimately leads
you to reach the results you desire, I assure you will feel like the
happiest person in the whole world! I did and still do!

4. TURN/REVERSE YOUR FOCUS INWARD


When you turn your focus inward, on you, everything is
completely different and your efforts are more effective.
So it is up to you to reverse your focus.
Instead of focusing on outside first and leaving all the inside
confusion as it is, you will be focusing on the inside first and
letting the outside accommodate to your new, rich, strong,
powerful and orderly inner world.

WATCH OUT!
However there are some snags that you need to be aware of.
If you have some parts of the new programming conflicting
with that of the old programming within, you will feel a great
struggle to overcome these conflicts and may prefer to forget

about any desired change. You will be looking at the terror


barrier and not feeling strong enough to crash it! This is
exactly what happened to me in the early days of 1988 when
I went to Frankfurt. I preferred to forget about any desired
change because of my terror barrier! I will tell you more
about the terror barrier later on this book. The focus is now
on how to become iYou.

You will then be fully aware that your inner world creates your
outer world, just as T. Harv states!

5. THE POWER OF THE INTROVERT


There is another key element to understand before you start
working on becoming iYou, fully equipped with all the best
resources that you can pull from deep inside your mind.
It is to acknowledge and understand the power of the
Introvert.
Last year when I was surfing my Netflix account I stumbled
upon some very cool TED TALKS and one of them in particular
was responsible for opening my inner eyes to a whole new
world full of wonderful and powerful possibilities.
That video, in particular, is called The Power of Introverts,
and it was presented by Susan Cain, the author of Quiet The
Power of Introverts in a World That Cant Stop Talking. If you
are a full-blown introvert or come across more as an introvert
on the introvert-extrovert spectrum, Susans book will truly be
an eye-opener for you as it was for me.

Susan Cain spent seven years researching and writing that


book where she condensed much evidence that pointed to the
fact that there are two main but different types of personalities,
based on different types of brains, with different levels of
sensibilities.
They are the introverts and the extroverts.
Although introverts and extroverts have lived together for
millennia, and are present not only in the human species, it was
since the beginning of the 20th century that the extrovert
personality began to be promoted as the right one in the
western world. Sadly, it became wrong to be shy and an
introvert!
But there is a sterling difference between being shy and being
introvert as I learned from Susan.
If you are shy, you are afraid of social interaction, but if you
are an introvert you simply dont need much social interaction
and may even prefer to stay on your own, in order to do other
stuff like writing a book, for instance.
There are, however, shy introverts and shy extroverts for
many different reasons. But you and me dont want to be shy
anything, thats for sure, because if you want to succeed you
need to have social interaction in many different ways.

a) The Introvert versus the Extrovert


Introverts are more sensitive than extroverts. This simply means
that introverts perceive much more information coming from
the outside world. So they may get overwhelmed with too much
overstimulation when interacting in person with too many
people, at parties, public speaking, walking in a shopping center,

etc.
Unlike extroverts who love the crowd energy, introverts tend
to feel drained and discharged after a whole day at social
gatherings or by simply going to Universal Studios in Orlando, as
it happened with Naomi. While extroverts recharge their
batteries interacting with other people, introverts do the
same in solitude.
When an introvert interacts with strangers over a long period
of time such as many days and/or months, left with no time to
recharge and reorganize ideas in solitude, she or he might
collapse from sheer exhaustion as it happened to me in
Germany, 1988. Being trapped subconsciously by social stigma,
for the next 27 years I was ashamed of that incident although I
didnt know why and how it happened. This is because we live
in an extrovert-idolized world and if we dont qualify we need
to feel bad. We are taught this and we even promote the idea
that you need to be or at least behave as an extrovert in order
to succeed.
Its ironic that this continues to happen even in this day and
age because the world has changed! If you look at many leaders
in our society over the last few decades, you will see that we are
now living in an Introvert Revolution period of our history.
Over the years I have read many biographies. It is good to read
biographies of the richest men in the world as they give one
inspiration. Ive read about Aristotle Onassis, who was the
richest man in the world for many years after the World War II,
and Bill Gates, who was the richest man in the world for many
years towards the close of the 20th century. He still is No.2 on
this list today.

While Onassis was a typical extrovert, we clearly see that Bill is


an introvert. If you look up Susan Cains website, you will see
that he names The Power of Introverts as one of his all-time
favorite TED Talks!
How about one of Bills best friends, Warren Buffet, a
powerful billionaire? He is a very good example of an extremely
successful introvert who has been on top for decades!
The list of powerful introvert men and women in Susan Cains
book is very long and comprises the likes of famous scientists,
presidents of countries, presidents wives like Eleanor Roosevelt,
spiritual leaders like Gandhi, and even brand-new young
billionaires like Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook!

b) Be proud of being an Introvert


The inner world of introverts is richer and deeper. In my
opinion, the introverts have an enormous potential still to be
explored and unleashed to help and amaze everyone in the
world.
I love the first page (in red) of Susans book: A MANIFESTO
FOR INTROVERTS. The first statement of this manifesto reads:
Theres a word for people who are in their heads too much:
thinkers!
If you say think bigger to an introvert, he or she will come
back with something really amazing! Another famous introvert,
Steve Wozniak, the creator of the first personal computer
comes to mind. The wizardry within introverts just keeps
getting better and better.
There is no need to be ashamed of being an introvert. All it
needs is an understanding and acceptance of oneself that will

most certainly create a positive way of thriving in this current


tough extrovert-idolized world.
In my case, as with my wife and daughter, we now understand
why we prefer to stay at home and relax either by chatting or
reading a good book, during the weekends, instead of going to
parties and socializing, despite spending the whole week
working from home. We are simply recharging our batteries for
the next week as true introverts do!

c) The ideal business for an Introvert


When it comes to business, an online business is the ideal one
for an introvert, because you will be able to interact with other
people, but keep your distance at the same time. With an online
business you can manage your time in order to be able to
recharge your batteries whenever you like, and its very
important to do so!
This is probably the main reason I prefer to do all my business
online. Too much social interaction drains me emotionally, even
if it is answering emails! Imagine if I had to be on the front desk
of a physical storeI shudder to think! It is no wonder I hated
my job as an engineer for six consecutive years, three in Brazil
and three in Italy. Besides the fact that in reality I do prefer to
be my own boss, I needed my own space, biologically and
emotionally, away from bosses and colleagues. I needed
solitude in order to be able to enjoy what I was doing.

d) Being Introverted an asset


I know now I am very sensitive and I accept and respect myself
as I am and am willing to turn into strength what could be and
was considered a handicap.
Acquiring this knowledge about introverts is really important
for both the introvert and the extrovert, because you will be
able to see things clearly while you and other people around
you take decisions that you previously didnt understand. Im
happy to say that I now understand my wife, my daughter, and
my friends better than ever before!
Now that you see the power potential of the introvert, its
time for you to become iYou to express yourself better and
join the Introvert Revolution that is already going on, and that
will only keep getting stronger and stronger in the coming years.
This is not just something that Im saying; its something that
you can see in reality and even in the innumerable comedy
movies from Hollywood. There are many good actors like Ben
Stiller, for instance, who built his career playing roles as an
introvert or as the shy guy who overcomes his shyness at the
end of the story and becomes our hero!
If you are an extrovert do help your introvert friends grow for
they have great potential to become very powerful in the future
and when they do, you will like to keep their friendship.
In this 21st century the truth is that the Internet allows
everyone to express their opinions, but you can be certain that
the prevailing ideas will come from people like you who had the

What Are You?
Man of all creatures is more than a creature,
he is also a creator.

T o understand the powerful iYou within you, you have to ask


yourself: What am I? It is a strange but vital question that
holds an answer so profound and exhilarating that I must share
with you my journey that led me to this question and the
powerful revelation thereafter. It is the answer to this question
that empowers you to become iYou.
Let me take you back to a time in my life when I discovered
the powerful truth when I arrived at this amazing question.

JAPAN
The year was 2005.
My wife, Marisa, and I had decided to buy a piece of land and
build a house, but we had no money to do it. I had spent three
years promoting a book, prior to this, without success, not
knowing what I now know with regards to the Law of Attraction.
The only alternative at that time was to work in Japan for a
period of three years as a labor worker. It seemed the only way
to get money to build our house.

Although my wife, Marisa, is Brazilian, she is a first generation


Japanese descent. So, she was allowed to go to Japan and take
me to work there. It took some months to get the necessary
documentation but by the beginning of 2006, we went to Japan.
As a foreigner to this land, I came to be known as a gaijin and
was very well treated.

THE COMPANY, ITS ROBOT PAINTYBOY AND WHAT IT


DID FOR ME
True to our plan, I joined a company that produced around 500
42 LCD TV plastic rectangular frames, in a day. I worked as a
labor worker for two years in the painting department of that
company. Basically this department was a big room with four
mounting lines and three labor workers in each of these
mounting lines.
Let me explain, step-by-step, how this department worked
because it is important for you to understand the mechanism
within you that will help you see you for what you are, like it did
me. And that, my friend, will make all the difference!
The first worker would take the plastic frames out of boxes
and put them, one by one, over a conveyor belt that went inside
a closed room in which the actual painting took place.
A second worker was stationed inside the painting room
waiting for the raw plastic frames to simply pick them up and
put them, one by one, over a moving support to let a painting
robot paint them, one at a time, one on its left and the other on
its right. After approximately one minute of the robot
completing its job, this worker could pick up the freshly-painted

plastic frame and put it over another conveyor belt that passed
through an oven to dry the ink.
Outside the oven and at the end of this second conveyor there
was a third worker waiting for the already dried ink painted
plastic frames to check if they were ok, i.e. if these frames were
in accordance with required quality control standards.
These three workers worked twelve hours a day in one week
and 12 hours a night in the following week, usually from
Monday to Friday and during more frenetic periods, from
Monday to Saturday. With the exception of 10-minute breaks
every three hours and a one hour halt for a meal, they werent
allowed to sit. They had to stay on their feet during the real
work activities.
So for two years I was the second labor worker, the one
stationed inside the painting room, which made me feel better
than if I had been outside in one of the other two working
positions!
As soon as I learned the job and conditioned myself to work
fast, it became clear to me that staying inside the painting room
meant that I only got to feed the robot, while it would do the
actual work.
Being able to work fast, I got to work just 20 seconds and
would quite simply cross my arms while I watched the robot
working for the remaining 40 seconds of each minute. Those
remaining forty seconds was my freedom time and I was
determined to use them well. For instance, it was during this
free time that I drew and perfected the floor plan that we
ultimately used to build the house where I now live with my
family.

It was cool to see the robot working with precision, painting


one plastic frame on its left and then rotating its head to paint
another plastic frame on its right. Besides that the robot didnt
speak, which meant that I had many hours to recharge my
introvert batteries!
As my repetitive movements were always the same, I began to
use them as a kind of martial art, something like Tai Chi, while I
would clean my mind of thoughts. Although that job seemed
painful in the beginning, it turned out to be almost relaxing on
some days and nights. There were times when I would go back
home feeling better, even excited.
I learned a lot working with that robot I affectionately called
PaintyBoy.
PaintyBoy turned out to be a great companion and teacher.
For starters, he was very quiet and never said a word to me.
Besides, he was always achieving his painting goals, following
a programming that sometimes had to be changed and adjusted
for different types of plastic TV frames. He was so inspiring!
This robot was the one that got me to ask the question what
am I? that led to amazing answers and powerful truth. I share
this invaluable information with you.

THE REVELATION
YOU ARE MORE THAN A ROBOT!
As you know a robot is a machine in which Programming leads
directly to Action. There are no Thoughts and Feelings between
the Programming and the Action. I am sure this is the reason he
seemed to be so happy all the time!

I draw a comparison between a robot and a human because,


despite its simple functioning versus our complex ones, we are
structured in similar ways by our Creator. You can learn a lot
about yourself when you observe a robot and how it functions.
I sure did! It is important you understand yourself as it is the
first step that will help you lead a better life and improve your
conditions.
It doesnt matter if you are a religious person or an atheist;
you need to believe and understand that you are much more
than your body!
Using our robot friend here as a metaphor to what you are, I
would say that the body is just the physical machine itself, with
or without programming.

MEET YOUR MIND


But, unlike a robot, you have something much more important
than your body. It is your mind! Your mind is the iThing that
you use to create, think, dream and design things and your
future. It is also in your mind that you program yourself to go
about achieving your goals.
Although you may visualize the image of a brain when I say
your mind, your brain is not your mind. Your brain is simply
the physical element (hardware) that your mind (the software)
uses to work. If you think about a computer or an iThing, you
will see that the mind is equivalent to all the activity that
happens while you are using it, just like a computer or iThing.
Therefore, your mind is an activity that happens inside your
body. Without your mind, your body is useless and well, dead.
Its your mind that differentiates you from any other individual

on this planet. You can have a body very similar to another


human body, but it is your mind that will make all the
difference.
Now you can see that its your mind that matters most! You
could continue to be successful with your productive life, even if
some parts of your body were cut off. But, without your mind,
you would have no value, even for yourself.
Your mind is a very powerful instrument. Use it properly and
you will be happy and succeed. Use it improperly and you can
make your life a living hell!

MEET YOUR CONSCIOUS AND SUBCONSCIOUS


The sooner you understand the way your mind works, the
better it will be for you and this knowledge is essential to
enable you to attract what you want.
The first thing you need to understand about your mind is that
its divided in two main parts:
1. The conscious mind:
The conscious mind is the part where you see your thoughts
passing.
2. The subconscious mind:
The Subconscious mind is the part where you program things
that link you to a Higher Intelligence. This mind is a
programmable goal-striving mechanism, like the programming
module card of our painting robot friend. If you want to achieve
different results in your life, you just need to change your
programming in your subconscious mind.

When used properly, it is with the conscious mind that you


can program the subconscious mind to do and achieve anything
you want.

HOW TO CHANGE YOUR PROGRAMMING


I reiterate here because it is important to know this:
Programming leads to thoughts that lead to feelings that lead
to actions that ultimately lead to results.
Need different results? Focus on changing your programming.
However, if you focus on only changing your actions, it will
lead to frustration and pain, because you wont see much
change in your results. Although the no pain no gain action
adage may work in the gym, if you use it elsewhere you may
end up having more pain as your end result.
So, become conscious of your subconscious. Focus on it and
change the program within to get the results you desire!
How do you go about this? Lets find out!

1. WORK WITH YOUR MINDS IMAGES


The second thing that is to be perceived and observed is that
your mind always works with images. We think in images, not in
words, nor in any other way.
If I say your car, an image of your car will pop into your
conscious mind. If I say your refrigerator, another image will
appear in your conscious mind screen. If I say Obama, yet
another image appears. For countries such as the United
States, Brazil, etc other images will appear, and so on.
So whenever you are thinking about something, you are
mentally working with images, mixing them, reshaping them,

putting them in different scenarios, etc. in order to be able to


generate your own original thoughts and ideas.
Using this amazing function of the mind, you can put it to
work with images to help solve your own lifes problems!
Isnt this fantastic?
But, what of the mind? How
do you visualize this creator of
your images? Herein is the
secret that will provide the
missing and fundamental link
that has stopped you from
getting what you desire. You
have to visualize the creator of
your images which means that
you have to give an image to
your mind.
For, in truth, you must
remember that you are not your
mind!

2. IMAGE THE MIND


As you know, when it comes to the mind itself you have no
image to work with. Not having an image of your mind to
visualize how it works, makes any effort to do it really painful
and unproductive. This may leave you confused and depressed.
You are able to observe thoughts coming in and out of your
mind, but you dont know where they are coming from! Whats
more distressing is that you dont know how to select the useful
ones, the ones that are important to keep and the ones to

discard.
So, its very important to have an image of your mind that you
can visualize every time you want to understand what is
happening inside you. This puts you in control of the flurry of
incoming and outgoing thoughts and that puts you in control of
your mind. To show this clearly, you will need a visual.
Here, I give you a very basic and simple image that you can use
to visualize your mind and body from now on.
The first time I saw this image was in Bob Proctors You Were
Born Rich seminar. He has used it to help millions of people
improve and enrich their lives for more than 40 years and still
continues to do so. Dont fool yourself into thinking that this
image is too simple and basic to be of any help to you. Its
dynamic usage will lead you to understand why this image is so
powerful.
Just try it!
For the rest of this book, Im going to use this simple image to
illustrate the many processes that happen inside your mind and
body that can lead you to success or failure.
Now that you have an image where you can visualize your
whole self you will understand the reason for the title of this
chapter what are you? and not who are you?
You will realize that you are not your body, you are not your
mind, you are not your name, you are not your profession, and
you are not the role you play in your family or in your
community.
Finally, you will see the meaning in this question: What are
you?

YOU ARE THE OBSERVER!


Great thinkers of all times have tried to answer this question
and there are many different ways to do it, but the real truth is
that no one really has an absolute and accepted-by-all answer.
Therefore, in line with this books message to help you grow
as a person, Ill just say that the best way to define what you
are in this moment is to tell you that you are like the observer
of that image.
You are the observer of your own being.
Using the image provided above, you can observe it and
imagine your conscious mind, your subconscious mind, your
body, your programming, thoughts, feelings and actions
happening within, which is something very similar to what
happens in reality.
Position yourself as the Observer and you will be able to
virtually solve all your problems and attract what you want to
happen in your life, because you will have access to a higher
level of intelligence. However, you can position your inner
camera to focus from anywhere you choose. The choice is
yours. This is part of what is called free will.
In the next chapters we will use the above image to
understand what happens inside you. This will truly help you to
feel better and better!
After all, you are far more than a robot!

CHAPTER 4
The Inner Mirror
Mirrors reveal only what your mind believes it sees.

S o, what experiences, places and people cause the


programming in the mind that produces the outer results in
life? Before you can undo the programming that has led to its
negative outcome in your life, you must know the basis for such
a program. You need to look into your inner mirror and find out
just who you have been mirroring, for one reason or another. I
looked into my inner mirror and this is what I found.
I found a name.
There was a time, when I often behaved negatively, just like
my father, Otavio, would do. It was like playing R.L. Stevensons
Dr. Jekyll by day and Mr. Hyde by night. As you will see, this
mirrored behavior turned out to be the root cause of all my
problems. But first I will tell you how I became my father
whenever something upset me. In reality, by behaving like him,
I was always looking for things to get upset about.

WHATS IN A NAME?
I was born a year after my parents marriage and they had to
choose a name for me. I was told years later that while my
mother wanted to name me Otavio after my father, my dad

wanted me to be called Luis. Its ironical, that on a


subconscious level, my father did not want me to follow in his
footsteps and I will tell you why shortly.
Anyway, my parents arrived at a consensus decision and
named me Luis Otavio, not that they bothered to ask my
opinion about it! However, right from the cradle, I was called
Tavinho, the Brazilian nickname for Otavio. Sadly, Luis
was forgotten.
I remember when I was 12 years old and started studying in a
military school, a sergeant asked me what war name I would
like to wear on my badge. Can you guess the name I gave him?
You guessed right. It was Otavio.
So, from an early age, I began using my fathers name instead
of using my full name and in doing so, subconsciously, I had
become him. To me, the name Otavio belonged to the person
that my father was and hence I began acting him out as I was
also called Otavio.
My father is in another dimension now and, although deep
inside I feel that I loved him, the hard reality is that he had
many inner, unresolved issues that made him a very difficult
person to live with, at home and at work. He was short
tempered and regularly quarreled over trivial matters. I imitated
him so much that during my childhood and adolescence, I
remember my mother accusing me on several occasions you
are becoming just like your father! She said this in a very
negative sense and in hope that she would repress some bad
tendency, temper and behavior that I had been displaying.

She was right, because in many ways, and for many years, I
behaved just the way my father did; expressed things the way
he did, especially in the negative sense.
Even when I was in my mothers womb, I remember my father
crying out loud and trying to impose himself forcefully on other
people. Like every sensitive fetus in a womb does, I registered
this behavior subconsciously, for it was the most powerful one I
felt. Although I didnt like it, subconsciously, I thought this was
a good thing.
It was only natural that I started behaving like him from a very
early age.
Thats how I became my father, Otavio, when confronted with
many situations in my own life. While I resented the things he
did to me, I still behaved like him. I wanted to be an angry,
short-tempered, aggressive personality. I thought that was the
right way to be.
What further reinforced my idea that it was cool to be the
short-tempered guy who explodes easily was the heroes
depicted in the Hollywood movies I had watched during my
childhood and adolescence. I remember some of Mel Gibsons
and Tom Cruises films that show these actors characters being
short-tempered, quick to explode, arrogant and gutsy. I was
in awe of them.
I turned out to be a short-tempered child, teenager and young
adult with a very negative attitude.
While it may not be a problem to display rash tempers and
emotional explosions during ones school and college years, it is
a whole different ball game when you get a job. You enter a
sludge zone where your movements and your angry explosions

become difficult for you and others to handle. Especially if you


want to be your own boss and build your own company, this
behavior is simply unacceptable and you will end up broke and
feeling miserable!
As you can see, I speak from experience. It happened to me
more than once.
To make my story short, I can tell you that after losing my
temper and having no control over my emotions for many,
many years, I finally realized that my name was an important
part of the problem.
When I saw myself as Otavio I had to behave in exactly the
same way as the other Otavio, my father. I never tried to be
Luis Otavio, because it seemed too long a name to be used. I
remember every time I told someone that my name was Luis
Otavio, that person would end up calling me only Luis.
I didnt like that, because I had a prejudice against the name
Luis. For me, it seemed to be a common name, used by many
people, just like the prefix of a telephone number. There was no
way I was going to use Luis. Besides, the name did not
emulate the kind of strength and dominion like that of an
Otavio.
But, one of the meanings of Luis is Light and I was missing
out on the Light in my life. I think my subconscious was sending
me a strong message because there eventually came a time,
due to a shortage of options, I decided to use Luis as my new
war name.
Today, I am glad I did that!
Even though it was, initially, very painful, to change my name,
I now see that this was one of the best decisions of my life!

Finally, I felt free to be my own self and started behaving in a


kinder way when interacting with people. Finally, Mr. Hyde was
dead inside me.
Being Luis led me to see myself in a much better and
broader perspective, full of unlimited possibilities!
This is the path that brought me here to meet you through
these words, gave me the confidence to write this book and to
believe and feel that I can be of help to millions of people, not
just myself.
Its being Luis that I allowed the Light to shine in my dark
world.
I looked into my inner mirror and saw the truth. This truth
enabled me to make the profound change needed for my
freedom.
Have you looked into your inner mirror? Are you mirroring
someone else the way I did? Its important for you to know this
so you can move on to becoming the best you can be.

HOW TO CHOOSE, CHANGE AND MIRROR


YOUR BEST IMAGE
The name change to Luis brought out the best in me! I began
to enhance my own self-image. Illustrating one aspect of my
own self-image seemed to me the best way to explain the
magnitude of the importance of having a positive self-image, in
order to obtain good results in life.
If you are not satisfied with your own results, you certainly
need to check and improve your self-image before doing

anything else. If now you are a cat, you need to start seeing a
lion in your inner mirror!
Remember that Conditioning (Programming) leads to
Thoughts that lead to Feelings that lead to Actions which finally
get the Results!
Your self-image is a group of ideas about yourself that is
included in the package that we call conditioning or
programming. We can certainly say that your self-image is the
core of your conditioning.
To get better results, you need to go directly to the root of all
evils. You need to condition your mind to live a better life. Like
I said earlier Dying is certainly not the worst thing that can
happen to you, because living enslaved to a bad conditioning
IS!
The good news is that you can choose and change your
conditioning right away.
If you have a bad self-image, you can get a better one right
now! You dont need to suffer for many years as I did!
Here are some of the things you can do to change your old
negative self-image in your inner mirror:

1. GET RID OF THOSE SEEMINGLY UNIMPORTANT


THINGS
If you can observe how many unimportant things that
happened during your childhood have become so important
during your adulthood, that are affecting you negatively, you
can improve the results you have been getting or are getting in
your personal and professional lives.

This is very true especially when it comes to the group of


many unimportant things that compose your self-image.
Those unimportant things, like using my fathers name for
instance, may also have been comments that you heard about
yourself, thoughts and ideas that you started to believe about
yourself and/or both, at an age in which you werent capable of
selecting what thoughts and ideas were most empowering for
you.
So, begin today, to observe those unimportant things that
have been stopping you from reaching your desires and get rid
of them. Select only those that are positive and best for you.

2. FIND THE RICHES IN YOUR MIND


In Secrets of the Millionaire Mind, T. Harv Eker explains that in
your conditioning there are also many ideas associated with
money that compose your money blueprint that can lead you
to fortune or keep you broke throughout your life.
Rich people think in a different way, and if you want to be
rich, you need to change your money blueprint first.
Stop thinking like a poor or middle-class person and start
thinking like a rich one. It means that, subconsciously, you
would be improving your self-image and that is just what you
need! You will be reprogramming your subconscious to think
rich and therefore you become rich!
The way you see yourself today defines what you are capable
of achieving.
You may fool yourself with a goal that is higher than the one
your self-image is able to reach, but in reality you will never
reach it if the way you see yourself is beneath what you wish to

achieve. Thats the reason you may feel doubtful after setting
some goals.
So you have to feel and envision yourself as being capable of
achieving what your heart desires.
Say now to yourself fervently: The me I see is the me I will be!
And you will feel the truth of this reality in and around you.

3. FEEL LIKE A WINNER BEFORE YOU BECOME ONE!

Before establishing higher goals you need to have a higher self-


image, than the one you already have.
Your current self-image was built upon some ideas about
yourself that you accepted in the past. As you were the one who
chose to accept them, it is only you who has the power to
change them and you can do so, beginning today.
These ideas are buried deep down in your subconscious mind
and are interlaced with everything you think and do.
Having a positive self-image is one of the most important
secrets to your success! You can do this by beginning to feel like
a winner.
Having a negative self-image where you feel like a loser, can
be very detrimental. By wearing it, you can seriously limit and
sabotage your personal growth in all areas of your life.
But you can change all of that, starting right now!
You can change those limiting and restricting ideas that are
already in your subconscious mind, in the same way I did.
In my case you can clearly see that the idea/name Otavio
was associated with many negative emotions and memories
from my past that kept me a slave to bad behavior, bad

thoughts, bad feelings, bad actions and consequently bad


results!
Once I changed my conditioning to the different, refreshing
and brand new idea/name Luis, I started behaving differently
and my results are much better than before.
My self-image as Otavio was very bad, disempowering,
confusing and self-sabotaging.
But my self-image as Luis just keeps growing and becoming
better with every new goal that I achieve, starting with some
very basic ones, like, for instance, simply being able to have and
keep long-term friends.

4. DELETE THE LOSER SELF-IMAGE


If you now have a loser self-image, you can and must
change it to that of a winner, even if its necessary to change
your name, your clothes, your friends, your job, your business,
your country and keep a good distance away from people who
walk all over your self-image!

5. SAY GOODBYE TO BEING A VICTIM


T. Harv Eker says that there are no rich victims. If you want to
be rich you need to stop playing the role of victim, which is a
very bad self-image to have.
If you find out that you have a bad loser self-image, chances
are that you are playing the victim game and consistently
blaming others, complaining about others and justifying your
bad results because of what other people do or say.
Remember, your thoughts DO matter and they DO affect your
circumstances and results. So every time you think blaming,

complaining or justifying thoughts, you are literally cutting your


financial throat, says T. Harv. Now that you know, be
observant of such thoughts for you need to delete them as soon
as possible. You need to stop being a victim.

6. AVOID BEING A CRAP MAGNET


Getting rid of bad thoughts takes some time, so it was natural
that my subconscious mind needed a little inertial time to stop
that bad thought process.
T. Harv says that if you play the victim game, blaming,
justifying and complaining, you think crap and become a crap
magnet.
Crap magnet is a good definition for the way I used to be in
the past. But not anymore.
Thinking crap, you attract crap and start to believe that you
are crap.
So PLEASE, I earnestly request you for your own good, stop
thinking crap. Once you do that, you will naturally improve your
self-image too!

AN EFFECTIVE EXERCISE TO ERASE


YOUR NEGATIVE SELF-IMAGE
Here is an effective exercise that I learned from T. Harv Eker
that worked phenomenally well for me as it did for so many
who used this technique to lose their negative self-images and
become the ultimate iYou.

CUT YOUR THROAT!

Take a look at your inner mirror now. Write down what


you see. It doesnt matter how bad you see yourself at
this present moment, the only thing that matters is that
you now KNOW that you can make your self-image
better. Your self-image is one of your many creations!
As its creator you have all the right to change it.
Write down all you think about yourself and what you
would like to change and improve. For at least one
week, monitor your own thoughts and whenever you
feel a bad feeling and observe that the related bad
thought is going through your mind, cut your own
throat with one of your hands. If you see any bad
thought, making you feel inferior to anyone, passing
through your conscious mind, literally move your hand
from one side to the other of your neck and figuratively
cut your throat.

When I started using this technique some time ago I had to cut
my throat many times a day, especially so during the first
week. But with time it became rarer to observe any bad self-
image thoughts trying to pass through my conscious mind.
You see those thoughts werent mine! Those thoughts
werent created by me, at least not by the person I am in the
present moment and the one I intend to become in the future.
They were a byproduct of years and years of mastering the
inner bad thoughts and feelings game. I am now aware that,

for many years, I literally conditioned myself to feel bad and


think bad. No surprise here, if I tell you that I was getting bad
results too, right?
Good. You are definitely learning!

HOW TO BUILD A POSITIVE SELF IMAGE


Here are effective techniques for building a positive self-image:

1. FEELING AND BELIEVING YOU ALREADY ARE THE


NEW SELF-IMAGE
The best way to test if you already have a good self-image is to
take a look at the results you are getting in your professional
and personal lives.
This also applies if you are already getting good results but
want to reach better ones. You simply need to improve your
self-image.
You need to build a better self-image inside your mind and
reinforce it from within, feeling and believing that you already
are that new person! This process will lead you to really
become that person and achieve the desired results.
You become iYou and get iYour results!

2. CONSTANTLY REPLAY YOUR iYOU IMAGE IN YOUR


MIND
This is another highly effective good habit that you can create
and that is to think about that iYou you want to become. I
have many mental images of the person that I want to become
and I keep replaying them inside my conscious mind all the
time.

TAKE A LOOK AT ME NOW


Today, instead of feeling bad, which was the result of cultivating
bad thoughts about myself and my past, I now keep feeling
better and better, just because Im purposefully choosing to
replay all the great things that iMe will do and have in the
future.
Im mentally rehearsing how he will play the game of life to
win! I am now more confident to do things I wasnt capable of
doing in the past.
Once my thoughts, feelings and actions changed, my results
changed too for the better.
It all started with a long look at my inner mirror and an
extreme makeover in my thoughts and feelings.
You can do it too!

TAKE A LOOK AT YOU NOW


Look at your inner mirror and write down or draw the image
that you see there. Once thats done, write down or draw a
better image of how you want to become!
This simple action will help you feel much better. After all,
thats the start to unleash the power within you.

Goal Image Programming
You are now, and you do become, what you think about.

n this chapter, I shall explain the importance of having a
positive goal image and how to set it up so that you can use
it correctly and effectively to make your dreams a living
reality.

THE ROBOTS (PAINTYBOY) GOAL IMAGE


PROGRAM
In order to help you set up your goal program, I shall explain
how PaintyBoy (remember my robot friend I worked with in
Japan?) functioned.
During the two years I worked in Japan as a labor worker, I
spent most of my waking time hanging out with my friend
PaintyBoy, the robot. He was a workaholic and I had to follow
him, so our relationship was very simple: no talk, just action.
He simply followed the programming that one Japanese
programmer had previously entered through his control panel.
After the programming was entered and I had fed the plastic
frames to be painted, he would simply paint one frame after

another, one on the left, the next on the right, and so on, over
and over again. Non-stop.
He was never tired or bored and he was always focused.
Inside his programming there was an image of the frame that
he had to paint and then he used that image to move
accordingly to the width, height, thickness and other
parameters related to that particular frame.
For instance, the movements he used for a 32 LCD TV were
different than the ones used for a 42 LCD TV. He also had to
use ink of different colors for TVs of different colors.
So every time my mounting line team had to paint a batch of
plastic frames for a different type of TV, the Japanese
programmer guy would come to my painting room, stop
everything and tell me that I should souji.
Being a complete analphabet in Japanese, hearing the word
souji simply meant to me that I had to press a large red
button to stop PaintyBoy and take a piece of cloth and/or a
broom to start cleaning the place inside and/or outside the
painting room, while the programmer would prepare PaintyBoy
for his new painting goals.
In the beginning I didnt like the idea of doing any cleaning,
but with time I realized that it was cool to do something
different, just for a change. My job was very repetitive and
boring.
With time I also learned that I could perfectly pretend that I
was cleaning something, and then I was cool with this souji
thing!
While I was pretending to clean the walls and floor inside

and/or outside the painting room, PaintyBoy received his new


programming and ink to reach his new painting goals.
This process would take from 30 minutes to a couple of hours.
During this time I would relax, going wherever I wanted to
inside the painting department room, as long as there was
something to clean or for the most part, be an actor and deliver
a good cleaning show.
As soon as PaintyBoy was ready with his new programming
and ink, I was summoned back to start painting the new plastic
frames, which simply meant that I had to feed PaintyBoy and
keep him busy and happy in reaching his new goals!
This was how PaintyBoy got his new programs whenever new
goals were needed to be achieved and this is how you can do it
too.

GET NEW GOALS WITH NEW PROGRAMS


So, like PaintyBoy, whenever you have new goals you need new
programming and you need some time to reprogram. However,
you and I are more complex than Paintyboy.
The main and significant difference is that, unlike PaintyBoy,
you will need to do all of the reprogramming activities yourself.
There is no programmer who will create the new program; feed
it into your mind so as to make you perform different actions to
reach different goals.
Now the question is: How can I reprogram myself?
Here is just how you do it.

REPROGRAM YOUR SELF-IMAGE TO REACH


YOUR GOAL
One thing that you need to know is, as John Kanary said: you
dont get what you want, you get what you are. So, in order to
reach a new goal, you need to start by being more specific when
you change your self image. You need to change your self-
image by another one that is capable of reaching that goal.
This new self-image is the core of the new programming that
you need to reach that goal. Your new programming will be
based on that new self-image. This is the reason I touched upon
this subject briefly in the previous chapter.
Here I will explain in detail about the actual goal that you want
to reach. I will share with you more fascinating information
about the way the mind and body operate.

YOUR PROGRAMMING AND WHERE IT


HAPPENS
First you will need to understand where programming (a.k.a.
conditioning), thoughts, feelings and actions happen inside you.
The following image gives you a very good overview of where
all these inner things happen.
As you see in this image above, it is in your CONSCIOUS mind
that you see or perceive, blend and create thoughts. Your
conscious mind is literally equivalent to PaintyBoys control
panel, or the desktop of your computer. Its where you work
with your thoughts that include memories, ideas, etc.
Whenever you say I think the related thinking process
happened in your conscious mind.

But, NOT all thoughts that you see on your conscious mind
screen are really created there. In fact most of them arent!
Your conditioning (a.k.a. programming), on the other hand, as
depicted in the image above, is located in your subconscious
mind. This means that, among the innumerable thoughts that
you see on your conscious mind screen, you will see many
thoughts coming from the SUBCONSCIOUS mind.
One example of the
subconscious kind of
thought can be when
you go to a place or
touch an object and
instantly see on your
inner screen an image
of your mother saying
dont go there or
dont touch that.
Another example is
when you repeat to
yourself that you are
a loser and that you
wont achieve
anything in life. So, when you dont achieve something you
want in life, you see that Im a loser and wont achieve
anything in life thought-message popping up on your conscious
mind screen.
Sadly, I did that for many years, while trying to build my online
businesses. Let me tell you just what I did to myself because of
negative subconscious programming.

John Kanary also says there is a season to sow and a season


to reap, but you dont do both in the same season. But being
the instant result-oriented guy that I was I would expect to
have immediate positive results just as soon as I had completed
an action.
Whenever I would perform an action like sending a sales pitch
message to my email mailing list, I would expect instant sales
messages arriving in my inbox. Or, if I published a post on my
blog, I would expect instant traffic coming to it.
As these results didnt happen immediately, I would look at
my empty inbox or my no-traffic tracking graph and tell
myself Im a loser and wont achieve anything in life.
Guess how I felt every time I did that to myself?
I felt frustrated after putting so much effort, working as hard
as I could for many hours every single day. Then, I would give up
doing that particular online business. Why? Because I felt
emotionally exhausted after seeing that Im a loser and wont
achieve anything in life thought pop up on my conscious mind
screen thousands and thousands of times.
Logically, the next rational thing to do was to blame that
particular kind of business; justify my failure because of it and
complain about it all the time.
I kept doing this until I found another business, only to start
the very same Im a loser and wont achieve anything in life
cycle all over again.
You see, any kind of business is like a game that is mostly
played in your mind. But, an online business, because of its
virtual nature, is played 99% of the time in your mind. If you
dont have your mind right, you just cant win the game!

You can be sure that the big guys who make the big money
online have amazingly bright minds. They certainly are very
smart and clever. But, as my mind was far from being right, I
wasnt one of them yet!

HOW TO REPROGRAM A NEGATIVE


SUBCONSCIOUS
So, here is how I learned to reprogram my negative
subconscious. I earnestly ask you to do the same. Dont waste
any more time.

1. FOCUS YOUR MIND ON THE RESULTS YOU WANT TO


REACH
It was only when I learned from Bob Proctor that I needed to
focus my mind on the results I wanted to reach, rather than on
my present or past results, that I understood how to use my
conscious mind in the right way to reach my goals.
I began by visualizing my online sales and traffic goals on my
conscious mind screen and I can assure you that everything has
changed for me. Now, even if I look to a sales or traffic tracking
graph that doesnt show the results that I want, I still keep
visualizing, inside my mind, the results that I do want.
I bid farewell to any emotional attachment to my past and
present bad results. Goodbye frustration!
Now, I am always motivated and my actions are focused on
reaching my goals, not on reliving my previous failures. I reach
my goals, over and over again, like a snowball that keeps getting
bigger and bigger.

2. STAY DETACHED FROM NEGATIVE WORDS


On the subject of my negative past, I share with you another
example of bad conditioning that I received from my father,
when I was a child. He used to tell me that educate is to know
how to frustrate. Even today, whenever I hear or read this
word frustration his message to me pops up on my conscious
mind. I dont know where he learned that, but, whenever he
punished me for doing something wrong, he would say that.
Guess what kind of thoughts appeared on my conscious mind
screen, whenever I felt frustrated? Yes, you guessed right:
educate is to know how to frustrate. According to my father,
feeling frustrated was supposed to be something good for
me. It meant that I would learn only when I felt frustrated and
sadly, I believed that.
Yet another disparaging thought that my military father
programmed in my subconscious mind was that men dont get
tired. So, after I had worked myself to the bone for many
hours in a row, feeling deeply frustrated and completely
exhausted, I kept on working, because I couldnt get tired.
Why? Its because I am a man and men dont get tired. This
thought kept appearing ever so often on my conscious mind
screen that I pushed myself by working too hard.
Thankfully, after working on reprogramming my subconscious
mind, these self-sabotaging thoughts dont appear as often on
my conscious mind. Whenever they eventually appear, from
time to time, I now know how to handle them. I simply dont
believe them anymore. I no longer attach myself emotionally to
them.
They were my fathers thoughts, not mine, so they simply fade

and disappear from my inner screen. I love it! It gives me such


an exhilarating feeling of FREEDOM!
Now its your turn to change/condition your negative
subconscious by simply detaching yourself from negative
thoughts and by focusing your mind on the goals you need to
reach.
But, there is something more you need to know. You need to
know about conditioning your negative feelings too.

3. CONDITION YOUR FEELINGS TO FEEL GOOD


Your subconscious mind is also your emotional mind, which
means that your emotions and feelings pass through it. Like you
do with thoughts, you can program or condition feelings on it
too. So, you see, you can easily program yourself to feel bad and
think that this is good for you, as was the case with me.
My father did that to me when I was a child and I didnt have a
choice to choose a better programming. Now that Im a grown
up and in charge of my life, I can change my own programming
to feel good and see that this is the feeling that is really
good for me. I can condition myself to feel differently. I can
also feel good about the conditioning I apply to a feeling I have.
Do you see what I mean?
Now, lets look at a dynamic formula that will help you
understand the operation within that gets you your results.

THE P -> T -> F -> A = R FORMULA


Programming leads to Thoughts that lead to Feelings that lead
to Actions that lead to Results. Or P -> T -> F -> A = R.

Take a look at the image below and you will see that your
body is only responsible for the actions part of this equation
to obtain a certain result.

YOUR THOUGHTS AND ACTIONS


Even when you are playing a physical game, what is happening
on your mind is much more important than your actions,
because your actions are just an outcome of what is happening
on your mind. Your actions are just like the tip of an iceberg,
just 1% of what you need to reach your goals.

YOUR FEELINGS
Although, feelings pass through your whole body, they arent
really created by it. Your feelings come from your emotional
subconscious mind and pass through all your nervous system,
inundating your body with an energy that you classify as bad
or good according to how you feel.

Negative energy makes you feel bad; Positive energy makes


you feel good. Its as simple as that.
Whenever you feel an emotion, you feel it in your whole
body. Then your body needs to take action, which means it will
produce a motion. Maybe you will speak, move your hands,
run or cry, feeling the tears roll down your cheeks. This is
action happening, produced by your emotion within.
A good definition for the word emotion is: ENERGY IN
MOTION. This definition of emotion is profoundly true, because
the energy that is flowing through your body needs to be
expressed in the physical world.
Everything in the universe is energy and feeling energy flowing
through your body is the best way to feel alive!
The only problem is that you can also feel alive when we
feel bad feelings, bad emotions, or negative energy
flowing through your body. Whats worse is you can get so used
to doing that you may even miss a bad feeling, once you dont
have it anymore.
So you continue to watch your inner screen for those bad-
feeling movies from your past, which keeps you feeling
happily sorrowful, angry and disappointed, etc, feelings
attached to your previous failures in romantic relationships,
friendships, business, and the like.
This negative pattern will continue until you reprogram
yourself with a new programming that will lead you to feel
better!

HOW TO REPROGRAM YOUR


NEGATIVE FEELINGS
Here is how you can reprogram your negative feelings. Its very
simple but it needs your focus and determination. You can do
it.

1. STOP FEELING BAD


To do this, you need to stop watching those bad feeling
movies and start to create and watch new good feeling
movies on your conscious mind screen.
After that, the important thing to understand here is that your
body is responsible for the actions you take in order to obtain
the results and goals that you want to reach. If your body
doesnt enter into action, you will never reach your goals!

2. START FEELING GOOD


Those new good-feeling movies only serve their purpose
when they lead you to act in a different way in your real life. If
there is something sure in life, it is this: bad (negative) feelings
will only lead you to bad (negative) actions that will, in turn,
lead you to bad (negative) results.
Remember, you need to reach your goals and for that you
need to propel your body into action. But how do you get your
body to act in the way that reaches your desired results/goals?
Again, it is very simple.

YOUR GOALS/RESULTS
On the subject of goals, you need to know that you have an
amazingly powerful piece of equipment in your hands!

You can reach unlimited goals, as long as you are able to


imagine them on your inner screen.
Imagination is the key to reach higher goals. It is the activity
that happens on your inner screen, whenever you start to use
your conscious mind to create something. This something can
be an object, a plan to go out with friends tonight, the body of
your dreams, your future house, or anything else that you are
able to imagine, which means visualizing images. This is
something that you do on your inner conscious mind screen.
Im pretty sure youve already got a host of creations to work
on and are aware of the consciousness of what is happening
within your conscious mind. But, you dont really perceive and
see what is happening on the background, the place where
your subconscious (and emotional) mind resides and performs
all its magical jobs. Your subconscious mind can make your
dreams come true, as long as you program it correctly. For that,
you need to know the working of your subconscious mind.

HOW YOUR SUBCONSCIOUS WORKS


As far as I know, Maxwell Maltz, the author of the fantastic
best-seller PSYCHO-CYBERNETICS book, has the best definition
for what we call the subconscious mind: a goal-striving servo-
mechanism consisting of the brain and nervous system, which is
used by, and directed by the (conscious) mind.
He continues: This automatic goal-striving machine functions
very similarly to the way that electronic servo-mechanisms
function, as far as basic principles are concerned, but it is much
more marvelous, much more complex, than any electronic brain
or guided missile ever conceived by man.

Its interesting because Maxwell wrote that book in 1960, in a


time when there wasnt much technology and no robots. But his
description of the subconscious mind couldnt be more accurate
than it is today.
While he compared the subconscious mind to a guided
missile, you can compare it to a whole android like the one in
Terminator 2: Judgment Day, the famous sci-fi movie starring
Arnold Schwarzenegger, where an android terminator comes
from the future, focused on doing everything possible (and even
impossible) to reach its goal, which was to kill the woman who
would become the mother of the future savior of mankind.
That was its only goal.
This is a very good analogy to understand how your
subconscious mind works. Whatever you are able to imagine
and program it with, your subconscious will do the impossible
to make you reach it. In a certain sense your subconscious mind
and body are just like that android.

THE FASTEST WAY TO REACH YOUR GOALS


According to Earl Nightingale, you become what you think
about most of the time, which also means that you get what
you think about most of the time.

1. THINK ABOUT IT ALL THE TIME


So, the fastest way to reach any goal is to simply think about it
all (or at least most of) the time!
When I say think about your goal, this means that I want you
to have a clear image of your goal and visualize it on your inner
screen. You can do it with your eyes closed, but with practice

you can also do it with your eyes wide open, as I am able to do


these days.
Now you know this, you need to set up your own map on how
to get there. You need your inner GPS.

2. SET UP YOUR INNER GPS TO REACH YOUR GOALS

Thinking about your goal on your conscious mind and feeling


the related emotions on your subconscious, emotional mind will
put your goal-striving inner mechanism to find the best and
most amazing ways to reach that goal, exactly in the same way
you set up the GPS in your car with a new address where you
want to go.
You know that as soon as you enter that new address, your
cars GPS shows you a map with the route you need to take and
you just have to follow its instructions to reach your
destination.
Well, I have very good news for you: your subconscious mind
works in the very same way!
You may not agree with me because you dont know how to
set up the address to get where you want to go in your
subconscious mind. This usually means that you didnt know
what you wanted or that you doubted that you would be able
to achieve.
I will explain to you in detail about setting up your inner GPS in
a separate chapter.

3. USE THE SUBCONSCIOUS: YOUR MAKE-IT-HAPPEN


MACHINE
You need to understand that your subconscious mind is simply a
make-it- happen machine that will do anything that you want
to happen.
It can make your positive and negative thoughts happen for
you.
If you focus on negative thoughts such as doubt and worry
thoughts for example and you see them regularly on your
conscious mind screen, it will turn them into doubt and worry
feelings that will lead your body to act in a clumsy and
indecisive way, which in turn, will stop you from reaching your
goal in the physical world. You see, your mind interprets these
thoughts as definite commands from you and simply starts to
make it happen over and over again. The result is that you
will get what you DONT want, instead of what you DO want.
Therefore, beware the mixed signals!

DOUBT & WORRY THOUGHTS


Doubtful thoughts are counter-commands to get what you
dont want. From one side you think about what you want, but
from the other side you think about what you dont want. You
give a command and a counter-command at almost the same
time, sending mixed signals to your subconscious mind. It
doesnt understand what you really want, but still keeps doing
its best to make whatever you command happen.
Sending mixed signals to your subconscious mind will only
lead you to get mixed results.

For example, picture PaintyBoy, my robot friend, painting a


plastic frame, with doubt and worry electrical signals passing
through its simple painter electronic system and body. Those
doubt and worry signals would produce clumsy, indecisive
motions that would not result in well painted plastic TV frames.
You could say that PaintBoy would be sabotaging himself with
those doubt and worry thoughts!
The same self-sabotaging process can happen to you.
Therefore, I strongly advise you to dump these negative
doubt-and-worry thoughts into your inner garbage bin as soon
as you see them on your conscious mind screen before they
turn into feelings and actions that produce failure after failure.
These are unproductive and if you are still observing and feeling
them passing through your system, you must simply use T.
Harvs cutting your throat metaphorical technique, where you
move your hand from one side to the other of your neck so as
to cut off the doubt and worry thoughts that are filling your
mind.
It is important to cut off these thoughts because whenever
you think doubtful thoughts and feel fearful feelings you are
cutting off your goal achievement ability. You are confusing
your inner GPS and do not get to your desired destination.
To make this as clear as possible for it is very important that
you understand how crucial it is to delete your doubt and worry
thoughts, lets look at the car GPS analogy once again. Its like
this.
You may have started your journey setting up your cars GPS
with an address that you desired to reach and, while you were
already on your way, you changed that address to another one

in the opposite direction. Or worse, you kept entering different


addresses every 5 or 10 minutes.
Now, where do you think you would arrive with such
confusing directions? Probably nowhere, which may be exactly
the place where you are at, right now, in your life or some weird
place which you originally didnt have in mind or a place where
you dont want to be.
This is the reason why most people simply stay where they are
and keep doing things that they dont like, leading lives of quiet
desperation.
They might have tried to use their inner GPS once or twice but
it didnt work. So, instead of taking full responsibility for
being unable to use their inner GPS correctly, they go back to
the comfort zone of playing the victim role of blaming,
justifying and complaining about circumstances, the
government, their parents, the economy, the crisis, a certain
type of business, etc.
You name it and they will blame it.

THE RIGHT DIRECTION TO REACH YOUR


GOALS
Please, dont do this to yourself. Dont get used to bad feelings.
You can adjust your inner GPS right now to reach your goals.
To begin this entire magical process, as always, all you need to
do is to begin to FEEL BETTER.
Its the most significant key to know if you are moving in the
right direction.

friend of mine, knocked on my door on the second floor of the
Darmstadt Universitys student building, where we both lived.
Knowing that I was far away from my family, he invited me to go
with him to his German girlfriends house for lunch and
celebrate Christmas Day with her family.
With no other option and feeling hungry and alone, I
immediately accepted. After a shower and a long session of my
goal alpha state visualization, I was ready to go. He drove me to
Hildes (his girlfriend) house, near Mainz.
In Germany, when you leave the big cities like Munich or
Frankfurt, you find smaller and very beautiful cities every 30 to
40 km along the way which makes it possible to stop and visit
more than one or two of these cities in a matter of hours,
during one afternoon. Mainz was one of those small beautiful
cities. That afternoon, after having lunch with Hildes family,
Hector proposed that we drive down to Mainz.
I accepted his invitation once again. We drove down to Mainz,
parked the car and spent some time sightseeing. Later, we
drove to Wiesbaden, for more sightseeing, just like tourists.
While walking down one of Wiesbadens medieval streets,
Hector asked me if I wanted to go to a bar and I said yes. As
soon as we entered the bar a grey-haired, middle-aged man,
with a strong voice, who was seated at a table, looked at me
and asked where are you from? I answered Brazil.

He invited us to sit with him at his table and we started


chatting about trivialities. Within less than half an hour, he
invited me to go with him to his hotel and, to Hectors
amazement, I accepted. So I thanked Hector who drove back
alone, that Christmas night, to Darmstadt while I remained in
the company of Dr. Benkendorfer.
The doctor and I then headed towards the Schwartzer Bock
Hotel and sat ourselves at a table in the very aristocratic and
luxurious bar located near the entrance of that hotel. We
continued chatting for a while and then, he looked into my eyes
and said you are going to be the president of your country!
This was the key sentence that finally led me, 27 years later, to
write this book.
After hearing that, the first thought that crossed my conscious
mind was yes, its possible that Ill be president of my country
and am on my way to become the president of the world, so
probably he is right.
In those days, during my twice-a-day goal visualization
sessions in the alpha state, that goal, of wanting to be president
of the world would take an hour or more of each session. I had
been constantly visualizing myself becoming the president of
the world. I also envisioned myself as a very rich, famous and
powerful man, who would be able to help mankind reach a new
level of understanding, peace, harmony and prosperity. I even
visualized the day and year of my death, and the crowds of
people who would mourn my death and miss me.
So, here was this stranger who predicted part of my dream.

How could Dr. Benkendorfer, a man from Houston, Texas,


have known of one of my goals and predict what I was thinking
about all the time, in Wiesbaden, Germany?
This is what has puzzled me for almost 27 years and the
explanation I have is that thoughts are things and they really do
affect matter and the universe, as Rhonda Byrne, Napoleon Hill,
Earl Nightingale and many other Laws of Attraction authors
state.

THE CREATIVE POWER OF THOUGHTS


The reason Dr. Benkendorfer was able to tell me a part of what I
was thinking about all the time, was because he was able to
receive in his brain (the hardware) and mind (the software) a bit
of my plans for my own future.
Scientists like Einstein of yesteryear, as well as current
scientists like Gregg Braden, have proven that everything in the
universe is made of energy, in different vibratory states.
Molecules, atoms, protons, electrons and ultimately energy,
are the building blocks of everything that you see around
yourself, including your own body and mind.
All things and sentient beings on Earth were created with
energy. You are made of energy. Your dog is made of energy.
Your house is made of energy. Your car is made of energy. A
tree in your front yard is made of energy. Even that annoying
little fly that bothers you during summer is made of energy. The
air that you breathe is made of energy, as much as the water
you drink, and so on.
You are immersed in an ocean of energy, like every other
creature in this world. But the poignant difference about being

a human being is that you are also a creator. You are different
from your dog and PaintyBoy (created by man) for you have the
power to create what you wish with your thoughts. You have
the power to shape energy in endless different forms and ways!

HOW YOUR THOUGHTS AFFECT YOUR


REALITY
Your thoughts can do amazing stuff and you can see such
evidence all over the planet. Whatever you have physically
created has come from your thoughts. Whenever you see
something that was created by other people, you can be sure it
was created with the power of their thoughts.
These images that you see on your conscious mind screen are
also happening in your brain cells and they are producing
different vibrations that affect not only your body, but the
whole universe too, just like a small stone when thrown in a
lake would start a ripple of infinite waves throughout the lake.
Whether you believe it or not it doesnt matter, the fact is that
your brain is a transmitter and receiver of energy at different
frequencies. You can transmit any frequency that you want with
as much or as little power as you want.
You are doing this all the time, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
and 365 days a year. You are always putting out vibrations,
which are the end result of thinking your predominant
thoughts. But, you can do it in a very low-power way or you can
do it in a very high-power way. The Choice is yours.

YOUR BRAIN: THE TRANSMITTER AND


RECEIVER OF VIBRATIONS
In order to understand this, you can imagine your brain as a
very sophisticated radio or TV station, sending out your
personal inner radio or TV program signals, 24/7/365. But your
brain is also receiving other peoples program signals. Thats the
way Dr. Benkendorfer was drawn to me through the series of
events that took place that Christmas day for he had received
my vibration frequency signal and decoded it, and was able to
tell me what I was thinking about!
If you want to receive the signal from a local TV station, you
simply have to connect an antenna to your TV set and then you
will be able to watch that TV stations program. The same thing
happens to any radio station and to your cellular phone as well.
However, your cell phone is only able to work at receiving and
transmitting voice, text and video signals, because it has an
inner antenna communicating with very big and powerful
cellular phone antennas in the neighborhood where you live. If
you are in an area where there are none of those big antennas,
you know what happens. You simply have no signal and cant
communicate with anyone.

Using your conscious mind properly you will find out that what
you have between your ears is a piece of equipment much more
powerful than any computer created by man. With this
equipment, you can connect to a different Internet that is
also far more advanced than the one we now use physically on
the planet.
To explain how this works in a more practical way so that you
can understand, lets use PaintyBoy, the robot, as an example,
yet again.
When a programmer enters a new painting programming
through the robots control panel, it is able to perform new
movements, but its new electronic thoughts dont really
spread out around the place. Its electronic thoughts dont
attract anything to it. They simply make it perform tasks like
painting plastic TV frames.
You, on the other hand, are different from the robot. Your
thoughts not only lead to emotions that put your body into
action, but they also produce vibrations that are transmitted to
the farthest galaxy on the universe! I have always wondered:
Could there be aliens receiving these vibrations somewhere far,
far away? It is a strong possibility when backed with such a
powerful theory that has proven to be a fact.
Every time you put out a thought with a high level of power,
intensity and duration, you are broadcasting to everyone else
on the planet. People who are in the same frequency will be
attracted to you, while others, who are on different
frequencies, will be repelled. Thats the Law of Attraction!

Define your dream is simply having a clear image of your
dream/goal on your inner screen.
Getting a burning desire for its achievement means that you
need to feel that goal as already being real, with all your
sensory factors involved. You need to associate positive

emotions to that goals image if you want it to become a reality


for you.
Feeling all the positive emotions associated to the
achievement of your goal is exactly the burning desire that
Napoleon mentions.
Why do you need to do that?
Its because with these strong, positive emotions you will be
leading your body to act and do the necessary stuff that needs
to be done in order to reach your goal. At the same time, those
emotions will be turning into the vibrations that you put out to
the universe to attract what you want.
If you are feeling a little overwhelmed with all these concepts I
have just revealed, I suggest you take a short break, get a glass
of water, relax for a while and then return to meditate over the
following diagram that I created especially for you.

HOW TO GO ABOUT USING THIS SUCCESS


FORMULA
You need to study and understand this diagram very carefully.
It will require all your focus and meditation.
Now, look at it very closely.
I called this diagram vibration, targeting and amplification
because, in order to attract what you want to achieve your
goals, you need to put out the right vibration with high power,
intensity and duration. If you dont do that, you wont attract
what you want. Like Napoleon Hill says and it needs repeating:
you need to get a burning desire.

You need to decide what you want and think about it on your
conscious mind screen. I call this Targeting. Once done, you

You need to feel the feelings as if you have already received
your desires. I call this Vibrating. It is the way you feel that
defines the type, power, intensity and duration of the vibrations
you are putting out.
STEP 3
Now you need to keep feeling those positive feelings, increasing

reach your goal. Doing this means that you are amplifying the
vibration signal that you are transmitting to the universe. I call
this Amplifying.
With the image of your already achieved goal on your inner
screen you are targeting your vibration. Along with the
increasingly positive emotions that you feel, you are
amplifying the vibration power and intensity. The bottom line
is that, you are constantly transmitting an increasingly powerful
vibratory signal. Do it for as long as its necessary to reach your
goal and you will understand the importance of being persistent
in whatever you want to accomplish in life.
Allow this vibration to flow through your body. You can feel it!
If you dont feel it you are not being a very sensitive player
of your body which is like your own musical instrument. It
could also be because your body is not tuned in properly to
produce the musical notes and melodies that you want to put
out, in order to be able to attract what you want. In a certain
sense, your body is just like a violin, violoncello or any other
type of musical instrument that you may think about. However,
you can remedy this lack of sensitivity.

food and to avoid bad food and drinks. The good food diet is
full of the Suns energy and this can be found in fresh raw

feeling bad is good for them.
I used to do that too, but not anymore!

CREATOR OR CREATURE?
Everything changed when I realized that Im responsible for all
that happens to me. I attract every person, thing and
circumstance to my life. If I attracted something that I didnt
want, it means I simply need to change my inner targeting,
vibration and amplification process to attract what I do want.
In order to use the Law of Attraction properly, you need to
take responsibility for everything that is happening in your life.
You need to see yourself as a creator and not only as a creature!
If you maintain a self-image that says you are ONLY a creature,
you will continue to be pushed around, back and forth and
sideways in this vast ocean of energy in which we live. You will
be at the hands of what most of us call Fate. Its a negative
inner GPS programming that believes that you and I are not in
charge of our lives and not responsible for what happens to us,
whether good or bad. It leads you believe that you are a victim.
But it is only your inner negative programming and as you now
know, you can change it.
T. Harv Eker says that rich people believe I create my life;
while poor people believe life happens to me. In other words,
rich people believe they are creators, while poor people believe
they are merely creatures.
Feeling bad is the result of believing you are just a creature.

As a CREATOR, choose to feel good because you now know
that you are solely responsible for your feelings as they produce
the actions that lead to your results. Be responsible about your
feelings and choose to feel good.

HOW TO KEEP THE FOCUS ON THE GOALS


YOU WANT
In order to keep the process of targeting, vibration and
amplification working in top-gear you need to keep focus on the
goals you want to reach. Heres how you keep the focus.

Continue to keep your conscious mind focused on the


circumstances that you DO want to have even when the
circumstances around you are not what you expected.
Focus your conscious mind on the results you do want to
achieve even when the results you are achieving are not the
ones you want to get. When you do that, the energy that
flows through your body is positive and you feel good,
which means that you experience a positive feeling.
Amplify the vibration you are targeting. This will keep you
feeling better and better. You will be attracting more
people, things and circumstances to help you reach your
goals.
Get rid of the crap. Whenever you feel bad, you can be sure
that you are off track. I remember perfectly well how bad I
felt when I was robbed on three separate occasions while
out on the streets. The powerful negative feeling or

vibration I initially felt when the first robbery took place


produced a similar incident again and again. These incidents
were the culmination of my negative ways of thinking and
feeling that I was worthless and undeserving. Such
vibrations drew the kind of people who reinforced the fact
that I didnt deserve anything and therefore took what I had
from me. If you think and feel crap, you attract crap, act like
crap and become crap! Remember the crap magnet I told
you about in the previous chapter?
Improve your mental and emotional strength. In order to
keep yourself far away from crap, you need to improve your
mental strength by practicing this vibration, targeting and
amplification process over and over again to achieve a level
of unconscious competence to use it. The more you
practice, the stronger you will become!
Keep going dont give up! In the beginning you may find
that you still keep feeling bad, from time to time. This may
go on for a while. But, I assure you, as you keep practicing
this inner process you will become stronger and stronger,
up to a point in which you keep your feeling good state
most of the time or, even better, all the time!
Doing that, you will feel like being in the zone, as some
authors prefer to name this state. If you were playing any
game, you would be scoring all the time. You would be a
winner! You will see the mental and emotional effect of
amplifying your good feelings play out on the physical plane
as well. In real life, you will be reaching your goals, over and
over again!

Inner GPS
Happiness is a journey, not a destination.

F eeling good is so critical a process to attract what you want


that Rhonda Byrne ends the movie The Secret writing the
sentence feel good on the sands of a shore. Feeling good now
is really the secret within The Secret!

HOW TO DEFINE WHAT YOU WANT


Happiness is a journey indeed. It is a journey that calls for new
maps and programming your inner GPS to get you on the road
again. But, before you begin your journey, you need to give your
inner GPS specific directions for your journey to get to where
you need to go. You need to define what you want and you can
do this by:

1) Being specific: a black Mercedes;


2) Being general: a luxurious car;
3) Feeling good and letting the universe decide what is best
for you.

By experience, I prefer to go with number 2 and 3. Rather than


being too specific with what I want, its good to give some room

for the universe and Higher Intelligence to figure out what is


best for me.
I learned this for in the past, when I was too specific,
establishing dates to achieve my goals, I realized that I became
very anxious and started to send out mixed signals of doubt and
worry to my subconscious goal-striving-machine mind.
So, based on my experience, I recommend that you choose
No.2, being general in what you want to attract to you. But if
you simply dont want to think about it too much, choose No.3
and you will be fine.
Feeling good is the way to attract all the good that your
heart deeply desires.
This became even more obvious when I interviewed two raw
vegan leaders in 2013, Markus Rothkranz and Mimi Kirk. During
the interviews it became very obvious to me that their secret to
all their great success in their lives is to simply feel good all the
time. Markus even mentions that every day he just wakes up
with no particular plans and follows his inner guidance. While
Mimi, with her large and contagious 74 year old smile, says that
she never made huge plans for her life, but she still expects to
do great things.
Like I explained previously you can choose Nos.2 and 3 at the
same time. When you have a general goal and keep thinking of
it by projecting its image on your inner screen (No.2), you
naturally start to feel good emotions (No.3). So, by choosing
No.2 you are also choosing No.3, which means that in order to
reach your goal you need to feel good before reaching it!
This can be really mindboggling to most people because they
are so used to feeling bad that they even form sayings such as

No Pain No Gain in order to reach a goal. It means you need


to feel bad, go through a lot of pain and suffering before you
gain what you desire. To such people, no success comes
without pain.

WITHOUT THE RIGHT GPS


It reminds me of the time when Marisa and I lived in Milan,
Italy, between 1994 and 1998. We used to travel by car to many
cities in Europe. From Milan, it was fast and easy to get to
beautiful cities like Paris, Munich, Zurich, Innsbruck, Vienna,
Barcelona, Madrid, Lisbon, and Rome, to name a few.
To help us on our road trip, we used to carry along a big map
book with us. I drove while she looked at the map. It should
have been simple and enjoyable a trip for us but it wasnt. She
always argued that I drove too fast, not giving her enough time
to figure out if we were on the right track. I always complained
that she wasnt capable of reading maps.
With all those map direction discussions during our trips, I
felt very bad and I know that she felt bad too. When we finally
arrived at our destinations we were emotionally exhausted and
filled with bad energy. Hence, we werent able to really
appreciate the beauty of the places we visited.
The experience of traveling by car was ruined because of
those altercations. Yet, though we knew this, we still kept
traveling and arguing about directions until Naomi was born.
Then, we stopped most of our traveling because we needed to
take care of our daughter.

THE NEW GPS EXPERIENCE


It was only last year, when Naomi became 15 that we started
our traveling again with more frequency. This time, we bought a
very interesting electronic device that simply ended all our
discussions forever (I sincerely hope). We bought a GPS for our
car.
With our new Garmin GPS, every time we want to visit a new
place we simply enter the address and a female voice gives us
the necessary directions to reach our destination. There is a
small screen where we can see a blue car moving and a fraction
of the whole map of that particular city.
It has solved all our problems. There are no more arguments
on the trips. At times, Naomi gets irritated with the fourth
passengers voice speaking while we are trying to have a
conversation among ourselves. But, Marisa and I, we keep calm
and relaxed throughout the entire journey to our destination.
Thats precious. We arrive as relaxed and happy as we were
when we started the journey.
What a difference from the days in which we had to look at
the map ourselves and decide what was the best route to take,
from thousands of options!
With the right GPS, the journey is enjoyable and you feel
good. That is why it is important to use your own inner GPS in
the proper way so that your journey to your goal is a happy one.

YOUR OWN INNER GPS


People who still believe that they need to suffer to reach their
goals in life are not using their inner GPS properly. Its as simple
as that. They feel bad, over and over again, till they reach their

goals. But by the time they get there they feel so exhausted that
they ask themselves if all that suffering was really worth the
entire exhausting journey they had undertaken.
The right way to use your inner GPS is exactly the way you use
your cars GPS. You set the address that you wish to reach (in
this case your goal that you need to achieve) and then you trust
that it will give you the right directions (instructions). These
directions (instructions) are given in little bits and pieces like
turn right or turn left and you just need to confidently
follow them to reach your destination (goal). You do not,
however, receive complete instructions. Just as you do not get
to see the complete map on your Cars GPS, you do not get to
see it on your inner GPS.
Your inner GPS operates and communicates with you in the
very same way that your Car GPS does, but in order to
understand that you need to know how to hear its
instructions. Assuming that you already know that to set up
your goal or your destination address you simply need to have a
clear image of it on your inner conscious mind screen, you now
need to apply firm belief and positive emotion to this image.

THE GPS SET-UP AND OPERATION IN YOUR


CONSCIOUS AND SUBCONSCIOUS MIND

your inner GPS voice to get to where you need to go or to reach

HOW TO USE YOUR INNER GPS


Here are simple steps to help you operate your inner GPS using
your conscious and subconscious mind.

STEP 1
In your conscious mind you program the destination, the goal
that you want to reach. To do that you simply focus on the
WHERE you want to go, or the WHAT you want to accomplish.
Your conscious mind should NOT spend time thinking about
HOW you will get there.
If you focus your conscious mind too much on the HOW (the
route) to get where you need to go or what you want to
accomplish, you will begin to see doubtful thoughts appearing
on your conscious minds screen. These doubts will then turn

into fearful feelings and anxiety that will block your body and
impede it from acting in a purposeful way.

STEP 2
Know that it is your subconscious mind that will deliver the
instructions you need to reach your goal. Your subconscious
mind takes care of the HOW to reach where you want to go or
the HOW to accomplish your goals. The HOW (or the route you
need to take) is taken care of by your subconscious mind that
calculates and establishes the best route you need to take. It is
the task of the subconscious mind to get you what you want.

HOW TO HEAR THE VOICE OF YOUR INNER


GPS
In order to hear the voice of your inner GPS, you need to
enter your desired destination or the goal you need to
achieve on your conscious minds screen
Ask: Where do I hear the instructions I need to follow?
Now, here is a trick most people dont understand and it
took me almost 27 years to figure out. You need to know
that you can hear your inner GPSs instructions on your
conscious mind too!
Whats more, you will often hear these instructions
when you are doing something completely unrelated to
your goal itself! In my case, I receive fantastic inner GPS
instructions when Im taking a shower, when Im in bed
watching a movie or trying to sleep. But, never when I am in
my office!

Whenever this inner process happens, I take notes as soon


as possible, because usually these messages fade from my
inner screen pretty quickly, and I may not remember them
later on.
In the beginning you may not distinguish what is what,
especially if your mind is very confused and filled with lots
of crap, as mine once was. But with practice it will get easier
to realize when an inner GPS message arrives on your
conscious mind screen.
So, be alert to receive instructions when you least expect
it and be ready to take notes.

WHAT YOU NEED TO REMEMBER ABOUT


YOUR INNER GPS
Its very important to remember that you never get a whole
plan to reach your goal. Initially, you may get a general idea of
the whole plan, but later you will receive only short fragmented
instructions of what you need to do, where you need to go, etc.
Training yourself to hear your inner GPS instructions
will allow you to do fantastic things that you couldnt
imagine being able to do. Confidently allowing your inner
GPS to take control of what you are doing will allow you to
feel more relaxed and reach your destination with a smile
on your face and contentment in your heart.
You will still need to work and put your body into action,
but there will be no unnecessary suffering and bad feelings
involved in the process to get to where you want to go and
attract what you want to attract.

And its very likely that to others you will look like a real life
wizard, but in reality you are simply following those short,
cryptic instructions from your inner GPS.

FOCUS ON THE RIGHT INNER GPS


QUESTIONS
Remember, the key to a proper use of your inner GPS is to focus
your conscious mind on the WHY, WHAT and WHERE, never on
the HOW. Letting go of the HOW is exactly what you need in
order to allow your powerful subconscious mind take over and
deliver the right directions to help you reach your goals and
attract what you want.
Do you remember how to know if you are in the right
direction? Thats right! If you are feeling good, the direction is
right. If you are feeling bad the direction is wrong.
Find a way to view this important information every day and
as often as possible. It will help you know when you are on the
right track of your goals and destinations.

FEEL GOOD = RIGHT DIRECTION

FEEL BAD = WRONG DIRECTION

This is the main reason why you feel good and keep feeling
better.

A WORD OF CAUTION
When you start to practice it, you may receive an old
conditioning negative thought on your inner conscious mind
screen saying: its impossible to feel good now, because Im
not happy, or because I didnt reach my goal yet. Please
dont believe these types of negative thoughts, because
they are completely deceiving you.

To put it simply, you dont need to wait to reach your goal to
be happy, in reality you need to be happy to reach your goal!
Its being happy that you will feel good and attract what you
want and keep you feeling better and better, like a rolling and
growing snowball of positive energy!
Being unhappy and feeling bad just makes sure that you
attract what you dont want, in order to keep you remaining
unhappy and feeling bad.

WORDS OF WISDOM
This is what Maxwell Maltz says about happiness in PSYCHO-
CYBERNETICS and I share this with you: Be happy and you will
be good, more successful, healthier, feel and act charitably
towards others. He also says: happiness is simply a state of
mind in which our thinking is pleasant a good share of the time.
If you wait until you deserve to think pleasant thoughts, you
are likely to think unpleasant thoughts concerning your own
unworthiness.
In other words if you keep thinking crap, this crap thinking will
continue until you feel like crap.
So, stop! Change this right now!

that destination becomes part of your past, all you will
have of it will be some (mental) pictures and that good

Feeling good is the only way to be like water as Bruce Lee


advised his disciples. Be like water, my friend, where you flow
with goodness, ease and power. Feel good to do that and keep
feeling better.

Fake It till You Become It!
You must be the person you have never had the courage to be.
Gradually, you will discover that you are that person,
but until you can see this clearly,
you must pretend and invent.

Y ou now have all that it takes to reach your goals. You are
now ready to begin your journey to become iYou. You
know that you need to begin to feel better, think positive
thoughts, image your goals on your conscious mind screen,
enter your destination into your Inner GPS, set up your targets,
send out vibrations, amplify them and continue to feel good all
the time. This sounds wonderful but what if you are not really
feeling any of it? What do you do with this priceless
information when you cant feel it because it isnt true, at least
for now, in your reality? What then?
There is a very effective way to come out of your negativity.
All you need to do is to fake it to become it. You need to
pretend that you are this positive and strong person who has
already achieved his or her goals. I will explain in detail later on
in this chapter.
Right now, there are dragons to slay along the way such as
negative conditioning or remaining in your comfort zone, when
you are on your way to reach your goals. But dont let them

stop you. You need to get rid of them if you are to embark on
your empowering and freeing journey of happiness.

NEGATIVE CONDITIONING THE KILLER!


When you do not rid yourself of negative conditioning, you kill
your true potential to be who you truly are and to have what
you desire. Negative conditioning keeps you a slave right until
you die miserable, angry, frustrated and worthless. It was the
same with my father who died a few years ago at the age of 65.
It was the saddest feeling to know that he left this Earth unable
to know true freedom, joy and happiness. He wasnt able to
free himself from his negative conditioning. Till the very end, he
kept having his bad temper and unpredictable negative
explosions. While he was alive, I always hoped to have a better
relationship with him. I hoped that he would become a better
person. With his death, there was no more hope.
My father was a cavalry man, who worked in the army for 35
years and then retired to live on a pension, waiting each month
for the paycheck day. He loved sports like show jumping,
paragliding, running, swimming. But, besides that, his life, for
the most part, revolved around and was restricted to that
paycheck that would arrive at the end of each month.
From what I see, it was the certainty of receiving that
paycheck, no matter what happened, each and every month,
that kept my father enslaved to his negative conditioning until
the day he passed away. There were no big goals to be
achieved, no need to raise the bar to feel and become better.
Therefore, with no motivation, he allowed himself to only
feel bad.

COMFORT ZONE THE DETAINER!


Unless you have a bigger plan for your life in which your job fits
as a step up the ladder to greater things, a job will just keep you
in your comfort zone, without the need to really stretch
yourself, or putting your talents to work and express yourself so
the world gets to know who you really are and what you are
capable of doing.
When you stay in your comfort zone, playing it safe, you dont
pass through all the ups and downs of a rollercoaster that
higher goals would require to be achieved. If you are in this
zone, you dont need to know all the stuff that is written in this
book too. There is no need for this kind of knowledge, because
you already are where you supposedly would like to be.
There are no risks and no high rewards too, but at least it is
comfortable.
T. Harv Eker says that the middle-class people just want to be
comfortable, but in wanting to be comfortable you will never
get rich. While committing to being rich, eventually, you will
end up being very, very comfortable. Dave Ramsey says if you
live like no one else, later you can live like no one else. I love
this quote.
But there are ways you can break this comfort zone and get
rid of your negative conditioning. If you want to take charge of
your life and make your dreams a reality, you must know a few
things.

1. YOUVE GOT A RIGHT TO BE WRONG!


When you get down to setting goals that are NOT easy to reach
and mistake-free, your inner structures will be shaken,

destroyed and rebuilt a thousand times or more before you


reach those goals.
During this inner rebuilding process period you will be making
mistakes all the time. But, sooner or later, you will get so used
to making mistakes that you wont bother anymore when you
realize that you made another one. All that emotional
attachment to how bad you were because you made a
mistake will be gone. You will feel free.
Instead, you will realize the particular mistake and just correct
your course and your actions in order to, hold your breath, be
able to make new mistakes tomorrow! By doing so you will get
better and better, which means that you will be able to reach
higher goals.
You dont get what you want, you only get what you are,
remember?
Listen to the lyrics of the song Right to Be Wrong by Joss
Stone, and you will realize that it is exactly when you use your
right to be wrong that you will eventually end up being
RIGHT!

2. SHIFT YOUR FOCUS ON BECOMING A BETTER YOU


Groundhog Day is a great film starring Bill Murray that shows a
guy who relives the same day over and over again while he tries
to seduce a woman to whom he is attracted. Every day he
meets her all over again and tries a new way of seducing her,
but is never able to do so. Its only when he gives up this
seduction game and starts to focus on improving himself as a
person that she finally falls in love with him. At the end of the

film he is a totally new and better person. It is an awesome film


and I highly recommend that you watch it.
When you focus on yourself enough to raise your own bar and
set big goals, like goals worth failing for, as Paul Hutsey says,
you will find adversity on your path and you will need to
become stronger all the time, from the inside out. This will be
like a sowing season for you.

3. YOUR INNER WORLD: SOWING AND REAPING


Your inner world creates your outer world, so in order to reach
bigger goals you need to change your inner world. You need to
sow new ideas in your subconscious mind in order to grow new
achievements in your outer life.
Follow these steps and you wont go wrong.
1. First, you need to improve your self-image, and
imagine/visualize that you are capable of reaching that goal.
2. Then you need to visualize yourself reaching that goal and
fill your whole body with the great sensations (emotions)
that you will feel when you achieve your goal. This inner
process will make you vibrate at a higher level, and this will
begin transmitting vibrations that will attract the right
people, things and circumstances to help you achieve your
goal.

4. USE A FREEDOM HELMET


During your sowing journey to reap (reach) mentally tough
and strong. You need to wear a freedom helmet to protect
your conscious mind from negative thoughts coming in from all
sides, such as from friends, family, newspapers, TV programs,

promotional emails, etc., including and especially from your


own negative-conditioned subconscious mind.
The freedom helmet was a creation of mine when I realized
that I needed to become like Magneto, one of the characters in
the movie, X-MEN. Magneto has magnetic powers and uses a
helmet to protect his mind from outside influences. Wearing
that helmet Magneto is more powerful and becomes
unstoppable.
My freedom helmet doesnt need to protect all of my head.
It only needs to protect my conscious mind, like in the following
image.

When you wear a freedom helmet you will be able to select


and retain only thoughts that will be empowering you to
become stronger and stronger. You wont accept negative
thoughts that will make you doubtful, fearful, and that
ultimately make you feel bad.

THE WONDERFUL BENEFITS OF USING A


FREEDOM HELMET

1. It helps you stay completely focused on your goal. Such


focused energy sends out very high power to transmit
the necessary vibrations that will attract everything you
need to reach it.
2. It assists you in changing your self-image into a positive

3. It also helps you detach yourself from negative-
conditioned thoughts of your past that bother and
hinder you in your conscious mind.
4. It helps you detach yourself from vicious bad feeling
cycles that keeps you attached to past failures.

when you begin to think about doing something new.
With this helmet on, you wont be stopped and blocked
by fear anymore.

5. DEFEAT THE MONSTER: THE TERROR BARRIER


The terror barrier is just like an inner wall that is built inside
your conscious mind. Sooner or later, when you decide to step
out of your comfort zone, you are very likely to come up against

it. The terror barrier is the result of an unstable vibration going


through your inner system, due to the conflict between two
self-images trying to fill the same body your old negative one
and the new positive one you are implementing.
In the early days of 1988, when I spent 5 whole days crying
inside a room at the Sheraton Hotel in Frankfurt, I was facing a
huge terror barrier, as a result of the conflict between my self-
image as an academic student and my new self-image as the
president of my country. As you know now, I wasnt able to
crash that terror barrier and got back to my old negative-
conditioned way of living, for a long, unhappy period of almost
27 years.
Today, everything is different, because I finally understood
what happens inside my mind while I climb the mountain that
leads me to reach my highest goals. I wear my freedom helmet
while I do it. Now, even if I fall, my mind wont hurt so much,
because the freedom helmet will protect it! If you want to
succeed in life, you need to crash the terror barrier or barriers
that you find on your way to the top. Thats the meaning of the
face your fears adage. In fact, to follow the path of your fears
is exactly what you need to grow as a person and become the
iYou that you want to become. Remember the Hansel and
Gretel fable where the two of them found their way back home
out of the jungle by following pieces of bread strewn along the
path? Well, each fear is like a piece of bread left in the jungle
directing you to find your way back home. Its up to you to find
and follow each one of them!

6. FACE YOUR FEARS


If your biggest fear is to speak on a stage, go on stage and
speak. If your biggest fear is to speak with a man or a woman
whom you admire or are in love with, speak to him or her. If
your biggest fear is to travel abroad, buy a ticket and fly to a
country where you dont know the local language. Put yourself
in uncomfortable situations that lead you to face your fears and
you will always realize that they were all self-produced. All
those fears were only illusions that you created and imbued
with power to have power over you!
You read that right! I repeat: You gave power to those
illusions to have power over you. It simply means that you
literally enslaved yourself because of your fears. You created a
prison for yourself, between four or more fear walls.

7. SHARE YOUR PASSION, SHARE YOUR WHY


Sharing your passion is the secret to remain focused and
determined to succeed no matter what happens. Sharing your
passion is sharing your why. Thats the secret to become a
leader in your field, someone like Steve Jobs. Its your why
that will make you the leader other people seek. You can be
sure that the world is chronically in need of leaders like you
positive, passionate, motivated and goal-getters.
People need direction. They need guidance in order to be able
to break free too. People need to be empowered and coached
in order to stop being slaves to their own negative conditioning.
They are looking for you. What you want, also wants you!
When you think bigger, you raise the bar and set bigger goals
for yourself. You are literally establishing a date to meet other

people in the future. These other people will become your


customers, your fans, your followers, your subscribers, or your
friends, and it will be these relationships you build with them
that you will help you reach your goals.

THE BIGGER THE GOAL, THE TOUGHER THE


JOURNEY
The higher your goals the more people you will need to help, in
order to accomplish them. One big idea is like a theme of a
movie where you will need supporting actors and actresses,
many extras, a crew with hundreds of professionals for many
different areas, and obviously you, as the protagonist of the
movie.
Dont fool yourself into believing that everything will be easy
during your journey towards your goal. There is nothing easy,
especially when you begin but that surely makes the journey
valuable and the goal worth failing for.
You need big goals and tough journeys to be able to grow. It is
in growing that you will be able to make a difference in the
world. You will be able to leave footsteps on the sand that other
people will follow. You will be able to inspire other people.
If you want to be rich, you need a big goal. Its already proven
that all you need is a big idea to be able to reach it. One big idea
can make all the difference in your life, but you will only be able
to hear it when you start following the directions that come
from your inner GPS, while you are wearing a freedom helmet.

HOW TO BREAK FREE AND REACH YOUR


GOALS
Its time to break free if you are feeling enslaved. Wear a
freedom helmet and crash all the terror barriers that you may
find on your way to reach your wildest goals!
When you seek to reach your goals you will find that you
begin to shine and become a light unto others. You will find that
you begin to lead them for they will turn to you for guidance.
Therefore as a true leader, you must improve your
communication skills so that you can share your passion with
others. You must learn to reach out through all kinds of media,
via the internet, through blogging, making videos and uploading
them on YouTube, writing articles and books. You must travel
and speak publicly, from time to time. You must expose yourself
more to the world, especially if you are an introvert.
On this journey to becoming a good leader, there is one thing
that you will certainly need and that is a mastermind, which
means a group of like-minded people who support you during
your journey. With your mastermind group, your own mind will
become stronger and your freedom helmet will be rock solid
and impenetrable. With your mastermind group, you will be
able to crash terror barriers with ease.
I think the main reason I had that breakdown in 1988, was
because I didnt have a support group to assist and empower
me to keep going ahead and upwards in my success fast track
spiral. I dont want to make the same mistake again.
Thats the reason Im creating the FEEL BETTER Team in
Empower Network.

With the FEEL BETTER Team I get all the inspiration and
support that I need to reach huge masses of people, while
Empower Network gives me all the tools and trainings to get my
word out there, through blogging, videos, events and the like
where I meet incredible like-minded people who are going on
paths similar to mine.
It was all the energy that I got from attending the Empower
Network FREEDOM 2014 event in Miami that gave me the
inspiration and courage to write this book now. In that event I
met fantastic people!
I saw disabled people, in wheel chairs doing their best to reach
their goals, expressing themselves through blogging and other
Internet means. I even saw a blind man who blogs, makes and
uploads videos on YouTube, to get his word out there. I was also
inspired by older folks who are starting a new career at the age
of 65 or more. One such person is my new friend Todd, who is
planning to move from USA to Italy in the near future, taking
advantage of his new mobile lifestyle.
The founders of Empower Network are really smart and
generous, because I could feel that they are putting out their
very best to help people break through and crash their inner
terror barriers. I especially loved the part when D.S. asked all of
us again and again whose time is it? and we, a group of more
than 4,000 people, answered Its my time! while we hit our
chests.

understand that he is powerful. Now, whenever I perform that

HOW TO IGNITE YOUR BODY WITH POWER


POSES
Speaking of power poses, now I can share with you another very
cool TED TALK that I watched some time ago. You can find fake
it till you become it, a YouTube video, with Amy Cuddy,
explaining that your body language shapes who you are.
This means that the transformational journey that you will be
going through to reach your goal doesnt really need to be
ignited only in your mind. You can also change your body
postures to be able to change the thoughts that pass through
your conscious mind.
In other words, if you want to have less negative thoughts
trying to make holes in the surface of your freedom helmet you
can also change your way of walking, your posture while you are
working; you can move your shoulder back and your chest a
little bit forward, while you contract the muscles of your belly,
too. There are many such power poses to help you think and
feel better.
Amy Cuddy made a very interesting study and realized that,
whenever you use power poses like the ones alpha males of
other species use, your levels of testosterone increase and your
levels of cortisol decrease. It doesnt matter if you are a woman
or a man, this effect happens and you can feel it.
For instance, after staying in that famous Wonder Woman
power pose, with both your fists over your hips, for just 2

minutes, you will feel far more confident than you were before.
This can be very useful in many situations. Amy Cuddy says that,
if necessary, you should go to the bathroom and stay in a power
pose like this during 2 minutes, before a job interview; before
speaking with a beautiful woman that makes you feel insecure;
before giving a speech on a stage in front of 10,000 people, etc.
It was Amy Cuddy who changed the old adage fake it till you
make it to fake till you become it. This change makes perfect
sense, especially if we consider what is in this book.

GO ON, FAKE IT TILL YOU BECOME IT!


To feel good and keep feeling better is the way to see if you are
in the right direction to reach your goal. During your journey
you will be transforming yourself till you become someone who
deserves to reach it. But, in the beginning you may feel and
even think that you are faking.
You are so used to your old self-image that when you start to
use your new self-image there will be a part of you that will
start to send you thought signals that say you are a fake.
Dont believe them! They are just part of your old negative
conditioning trying to build a terror barrier to stop you.
Remember, your self-image is the core of all your
conditioning, which means that once you start to change it,
your old conditioning will start to implode. This inner process is
similar to how a building collapses.
Go ahead, let your old negative conditioning implode, fade
and disappear from your subconscious mind. This is exactly
what you need and want to happen, in order to become who
you want to become: iYou!

Fake it till you become it is a very good command to give to


yourself, whenever you feel that shaky sensation and weird
fearful vibration flowing through your nervous system trying to
block and lock you from being free to follow your dreams.
Stand up, hit your chest now and cry out loud: It is my time!
Once you do that or adopt any of the power poses as
suggested above or in the Amy Cuddys video that I
recommended, you will feel better immediately.

W elcome to the FEEL BETTER Movement. Now, you are


ready to begin your magical journey to become iYou by
setting up your goal program, using your inner GPS to guide you
to your goals, wearing your Freedom Helmet to ward off
negative conditioning coming from outside and from your own
subconscious mind and faking it till you become it! You are now
fully equipped to begin your journey. This journey is an
empowering one, so dont be surprised when the leader in you
shows up. Thats what happens when you start this magical
transformation by taking the first step and that is to feel better.

TIPS AND REMINDERS


Here are a few final tips/reminders to help you along this
journey. These tips/reminders will further clarify your WHY to
become a leader. Lets just say once you start to feel better,
its only natural that you become a leader. Its bound to happen.
By feeling better you naturally become the light others need to
SEE. Youll understand that when you begin your journey.

1) BE A LEADER
Once you accept the responsibility of feeling better, this will
spread to helping others feel better. Youll want to create the
ripple effect. For that, you always need to have a dream big
enough to accommodate all the dreams of people who are
already following you or who will be, sooner or later. If you
dont have a dream big enough to accommodate theirs, they
will stop following you or wont join you in the first place. It
doesnt matter if these people appear in your life as your
employees, customers, fans, subscribers, friends, etc. the fact is
that they will only follow you if you have a big WHY, lots of
passion for it and a vision or dream big enough to help their
dreams come true too.

2) BROADCAST, DANCE TO YOUR RHYTHM


When you start YOUR PASSION SHOW and keep broadcasting
it to the world with consistency, sooner or later, you will get
your first follower, who will be the most important one, by the
way. The fact is that most people may think you are crazy, when
they see you dancing and singing alone, with weird moves that
no one gets initially.
But, as soon as your first follower appears and starts to model
your weird movements, other people wont think you are crazy
anymore. Instead, they will start thinking that those weird
movements are a new kind of dance, or something like that and
they will try to imitate those movements.
Before you know it, there will be a third, a fourth, a fifth, and a
thousandth follower who will be dancing with you, emulating
your crazy moves. Search YouTube for how to start a

movement and you will watch a very funny and inspiring short
TED TALK video, that will let you have a clearer image of what
Ive just said.
Thats the way movements are built. Thats the way social
change is accomplished. Thats how mankind evolves. All it
takes is one seemingly ordinary introvert man or woman who
finally decides to say NO to negative-conditioned thoughts
that have enslaved him/her up until that moment.
NO, I dont want to feel bad anymore. He or she says.
NO, I dont believe anymore that feeling bad is good for me!
He or she cries.
From now on I want to FEEL BETTER! He or she broadcasts
to the people of the world.
Thats exactly what happened to Rosa Parks, in Montgomery,
Alabama, December 1, 1955, when she said No to the driver
of a bus, who wanted her to give her seat, in the first row of the
Colored section, to a white passenger. This single word and her
courage to sustain it ignited one of the most important civil
rights protests of the 20th century. As Reverend Martin Luther
King Jr. said that day addressing the crowd that gathered in
support of Parks: There comes a time that people get tired of
being trampled over by the iron feet of oppression

3) LET IT BE YOU!
Be aware that in this century, oppression is not obvious as it
was for Rosa Parks. And, as a matter of fact, these days most of
the oppression that you may be feeling probably is coming from
your subconscious mind. Most certainly, some of oppression
comes from your family and friends, even if they dont do it on

purpose and a whole lot more oppression may come from the
media and movies too.
Say NO to this very insidious kind of oppression!
Say NO to those negative-conditioned thoughts that are
trying to oppress you once more.
Become the person who will start a whole new and gigantic
ripple in the evolution of mankind.
Let this person be you. The world needs you.
Feel good now and keep feeling better and sooner than you
expect you will have a crowd following you, just like a huge flash
mob in the center of New York City.

4) LISTEN TO / READ ABOUT POWERFUL FEEL BETTER


LEADERS
Feeling better is what distinguishes leaders from others. Such
people are leaders ONLY because they make other people feel
better too. Leaders do that every time they share their visions
and dreams.

OBAMA
I remember Obamas Yes We Can! famous speech in 2008,
during the worlds worst financial crisis that happened in this
century. It felt great hearing his FEEL BETTER words. Wil.I.Am
has even composed a song called Yes We Can. It is very
inspiring.

MARTIN LUTHER KING JR.


Who can ever forget Martin Luther King Jr. saying I have a
dream? These words stir me deeply every time I remember
them, even though I wasnt born when he made that speech.

NELSON MANDELA
Although oppressors put Nelson Mandela in jail for 27 years, he
was still free in his mind. He still had control of the way he
thought and felt. It is a shame to realize that I did exactly the
opposite, for the same amount of time.
He had his body imprisoned and his mind free. I had my body
free but my mind imprisoned for the same amount of time: 27
years. I went to that mind jail exactly the moment I accepted
that feeling bad was good for me again.
While Nelson Mandela never stopped thinking as a creator, I
thought as a creature for so long that it even hurts to remember
it was I who had imprisoned me for 27 years. That jail sentence
turned out to be very hard for me.

5) BE THE CREATOR, NOT THE CREATURE


Observe around and you will see that its very easy to feel bad
and spread what can be called the feel bad culture. Most
people you know resonate to this culture. They are always
eager to find more followers for their feel bad community.
The truth is that probably you are or at least was part of that
group of people who enjoy feeling bad. Sadly, most of us do or
did.
Chances are that you still feel like a creature and dont realize
yet that you are also a creator.
If this is the case, change that right now! Start accepting the
fact and the corresponding responsibility that you create your
own life.
You have the choice to think and feel the way you prefer.

YES, YOU CAN BE FREE!
As long as you exercise your birth right to think and feel in a
way that empowers you, you will keep feeling, not just better
and better, but freer and freer as well.
Toward the end of the FREEDOM event in Miami held by
Empower Network, its CEO, JCron, asked the audience if
someone would like to share his or her dream with others.
Among the people who shared, the one who impressed me the
most was a guy who was sat in one of the last upper rows of the
amphitheater.
From his point of view he could see more than 4,000 people
present at that event and he said that his dream accommodated
all of ours, because he saw a world where everyone is free, a
world where all humanity is free. When I heard that, I looked at
my wife, Marisa, and said this guy must be an adolescent for
it is in this phase of our lives that we have ideals like this and we
want to save the world.
Well, even if Im not an adolescent anymore, Im right here
volunteering to join that guy to make his everyone-is-free
dream come true. Thats the reason I wrote this book. I am
eager to spread the FEEL BETTER culture and turn it into a
huge FEEL BETTER movement that shall work steadily like an
antivirus, ridding humanity from the virus of negative
conditioning that corrupts their system by enslaving them to
feel bad.

I didnt come here to tell you how this is going to end.


I came here to tell you how its going to begin.

Today, as I was wrapping things up to finish this book, I realized


that, unintentionally, I have only quoted black leaders as people
who feel better; ones who are or were able to inspire other
people. Of course there are leaders of other races who are
inspiring too, but I think this is a great way to remind us that
those leaders were fighting for FREEDOM in a much more
physical sense than the one we are speaking of here.
They or their ancestors actually experienced the real and deep
meaning of the word slavery in their very skin, in their flesh
and in their bones. That is why they truly appreciated any
achievement the led them to becoming free.
These days, we live in times where everyone is supposedly
free. In that case, we supposedly wouldnt need to fight for
freedom anymore, right?
No, thats not true, because in the same way that violence has
just reached a higher level of expression, the same is true when
it comes to slavery. I am not talking about terrorism here, which
is something that is far away from the lives of most of us. You
need to protect yourself all the time from micro terrorism,
violent negative messages that want to explore the weakest
parts of your personality and mind. That is the reason I dont

use TV anymore. Now, I only watch TV when Im in somebody


elses house or in some public place.
Tim Ferris, the author of The 4 Hour Work Week, a book
that promotes the achievement of an Ultimate Freedom
Lifestyle, recommends stopping NOT ONLY watching TV, but
reading newspapers as well. Your attention and focus is all you
have to be able to succeed, so you really need to use them very
well, not letting them be dispersed in an ocean of confusion
that will lead you back to the prison of self-made and imposed
slavery.
Although it is so common to associate black people to slavery,
the real truth is that the 21stcenturys slavery is very subtle and
is present throughout the world. The color of your skin wont
prevent you from being a modern days very-engaged and
internet-connected slave.
Slavery was reshaped and repackaged to continue its trend in
todays world, plaguing you and me. If you dont read books like
this one and work consistently to change those negative
patterns that are still enslaving you, then, sadly, you are a full-
time slave. You may think that you are free because you can
move your body to wherever want or need to go, but in reality
you are well connected to The Matrix that is using you as a
battery, as Morpheus says.
When I mention The Matrix here, you can think of many
large industries, that promote products and/or services that you
dont need and that dont have your best interests at heart.
That goes for the government too. Although these large systems
were once created to support you and your family, today, most

of them are meant to look for ways to support just themselves


and those who depend on them.
I see this Matrix behavior happening all over, especially
when it comes to issues related to health and wealth. I find it
amusing every time I come across news about researches to
find the cure for cancer, when the cure is in the raw vegan
food one eats. My raw vegan friends and I already know it and
have known it for years. Actually, there is no cancer risk at all,
once you eat the right foods that bring about your physical,
mental and emotional well being. Ive personally interviewed
many people who have cured themselves from cancer and
other diseases, just by changing their lifestyle and adopting the
low fat raw vegan diet.
Cancer is just an expression that there is something wrong
happening in that particular human body and soul. With holistic
methods and proper raw food diet you can find the root cause
and get that person back to health again in a very quick and
effective way. But the so-called scientists of those large
corporations keep trying to find a cure for cancer in the form
of a very expensive pill that you will need to buy and ingest for
the rest of your life if you want to cure cancer. Who is the one
who gains with this kind of practice? Rest assured its not you,
my friend.
The same happens in the financial world. If all your income
comes from a job, you will be working for the government of
your country for almost half your life before you get money for
yourself. The taxes that you will be or are paying are so high
that you would cry if you realized how deep the rabbits hole
goes draining all your chances to grow financially rich.

Your enslaved negative conditioning, which is simply an inner


expression of all The Matrix pressure that you and your
ancestors suffered or still suffer, may be detaining you by
applying its dark laws in many areas of your life, such as your
bodys health, your finances and much more. You need to use
your birth right, which is to be rich, and think and feel the way
you want in order to break many terror barriers that still keep
you performing as a modern slave. In order to be fully free,
you need to put a definitive end in the inner terrorism created
by those terror barriers that may still be happening inside your
mind since you were born.
Although your path to freedom is just beginning, reading this
book is a very good start in your freeing process. You need to
think about your own freedom in an onion way. Imagine that
you are inside a gigantic onion and that you are allowing
yourself to choose your thoughts and feelings. Once you do
that, you have now started to change from the center of that
onion, working its way through layer after layer from the inside
out.
By using your birth right to think and feel better in a way that
empowers you, you are like lighting a small match in the center
of that onion. Now you will need to move around and go
through all the layers of that onion, peeling each one of them,
till you get to the surface of the onion.
When you reach it you will feel like Truman (Jim Carreys
character in The Truman Show movie) when he reaches the
door and sees a fake sky at the end of the ocean that he had to
cross to go to the limits of The Truman Show scenario where he
had lived all this life up until that moment.

I encourage you to use your right to choose your thoughts and


feelings in order to reach higher levels of freedom, starting from
the health and financial layers of that onion. In the first place
you need to protect and keep your health freedom. Once this is
done, you will be able to fight for your financial freedom. Be
aware that there is no freedom without financial freedom.
If you are not financially free, once in a while you will need to
do things just like those guards at the airports. Without financial
freedom, you will need to reinforce The Matrix power over
others, starting with your family, children, friends, etc.
Even if I dont like the way it sounds, I really believe that in
order to escape slavery and be fully free, you need to get rich
or die trying. The only way to do that would be once you have
a healthy body and spirit. You need to work to improve and
protect your finances!
Dont accommodate or adjust with what you have now. Even
if you are in a very comfortable level, choose a good cause and
stand by for it, give yourself the pleasure and contentment of
starting or being part of something that matters. Do what you
can to earn more money in the process.
Use your manifestation powers to manifest things that will
help other people improve their lives. Use your newly acquired
attraction skills to reshape your reality and the reality of others
in a much better way than the one you are seeing now. Use part
of the money that you attract to do that!
Use your freedom to promote more freedom!
Teach all that you learned in this book to your children and
people who are near you. Make this exclusive knowledge,

something that everyone will use in practical ways to make this


a better world.
Dont play it safe! Put your attraction skills to work and do the
best to manifest your wildest dreams. It is by action that you
will keep and expand your RIGHT TO BE FREE from slavery.
In fact, youve now got the right to sign your own FREEDOM
PAPERS, a document that ex-slaves were obliged to carry on
their person up to the 19th century to prove that they were
indeed free black people.
In the next page you will sign your FREEDOM PAPERS and I
urge you to rip (or print) that page and carry it with you
wherever you go. This is not meant to be shown to other people
to prove that you are a free person but to show it to you to
remind yourself that you are no longer an inner slave of the
negative mind and that you are now free!
Look at your FREEDOM PAPERS at least once a day and use the
violent technique of cutting your throat as many as
thousands of times a day if you have to, until you stop feeling
bad and allowing negative thoughts to populate your inner
screen.
Then and only then you will be able to enjoy the deep benefits
of having an improved self-image, achieving higher goals and
attracting all that you want as fast as you can, sometimes even
without thinking about it.
There are four levels of freedom that you will enjoy on your
way to the top. The first one is unconscious incompetence,
which was likely the situation you were in, before reading this
book. You didnt know that you were incompetent to use the
Law of Attraction properly.

The level that I see you now, when you are approaching the
end of this book, is the next one: conscious incompetence.
Now you may not know how to apply what you just read but
you do know that you will need to keep practicing till you
become perfect in the execution of the techniques to be able to
reprogram yourself as you wish, target your thoughts with
power, intensity and enough duration to attract all you want.
It is exactly through practice that you will reach the next level:
conscious competence. This is a very cool place to be, because
you know that you know and will be able to apply the
techniques in a very effective way.
Miracles, coincidences, serendipities and the like then start to
be your common ground. When they occur you simply know
they were supposed to happen. In fact, you start to expect that
theyhappen. The more you believe they will happen, the more
they happen and the more magical your life becomes.
You start to feel really FREE in the deepest sense of this very
short yet powerful word.
By influencing the universe with the amplified vibrations that
you will be sending out, you will literally be able to reshape that
very same universe. Once you do that, you will be able to
attract what you want at higher and faster speeds.
But beware that this level of freedom is only reached once, by
diligent practice, you make your positive energy ball bigger
than the negative energy ball that you have been carrying
around for many years. You will need to overcome inertia and
keep your faith high in order to reach that level.
The message of persistence Never, never, never give up! that
is in a magnetic sticker over my fridges door is very important

in all situations in life and even more now when you will be
fighting your inner and outer wars that are on your way to the
4th full freedom level of unconscious competence.
In the unconscious competence level you will get all the
neuropath ways established to use the techniques presented in
this book in a very competent way.
It will then seem that you can drive your car effortlessly
without having to steer it with your hands. You can speak on the
phone, eat and even clean your teeth without any risk of
crashing your car while you are driving it. Once youve mastered
it, you wont need to think about the movements that you need
to do with your hands and the places you need to look for in
order to drive your car in a safe manner. For some paths there
will be no need of any GPS because you know the way to go
the curves and signs, the turns
This happens when you become unconsciously competent
with the driving-your-car related activities and the same can
happen when it comes to your power of attracting what you
want in your life.
Unconscious competence is the level you want to reach but
you will need to go through the other ones before reaching it.
You can do everything on your own, but usually it is harder and
longer to get to good results, and you may be disappointed and
frustrated while facing terror barriers popping all over your
inner screen.
Thats the reason I encourage you to join our FEEL BETTER
Team. Within our team you will get all the support you need to
grow and use your attraction powers in a very effective way.

For each level of freedom competence that you want to reach


there is a level of support that will be provided to you. You can
think about this as a coaching program that will help you grow
as a free and FEEL BETTER PERSON.
It is only surrounding yourself with like-minded people who
are already achieving the results you want to achieve that you
will be able to achieve yours too. By joining our FEEL BETTER

fullness of your attraction potential in a faster way than you
would ever do on your own.

achieving your goals. The belief seeds can be planted and grown
in the soil of your subconscious mind. The more you practice
and achieve your goals the stronger and taller your belief tree
grows, which is exactly what will lead you to your unconscious
competence level of freedom and manifestation power.

Belief is one of the most important components to build that


burning desire that will lead you to feel good now and keep
feeling better whenever you think about your dream goals. You
need to be well disciplined to keep your beliefs high, especially
in the beginning when you are alone, but if you join the FEEL
BETTER Team, your beliefs will skyrocket when you receive
support and see what is going on with other people like you
who are already manifesting their dream lifestyles.
Dont fool yourself into thinking that you wont pay a huge
price for your freedom. Beware that indeed the there is no
such thing as a free lunch adage holds a universal truth, that is
applicable in this case as well.
The price that an ex-slave needed to pay, after acquiring his or
her freedom, was RESPONSIBILITY. That price still remains the
same today.
It is by becoming RESPONSIBLE that you get to be FREE, but
once you are FREE you will need to be even more RESPONSIBLE.
Higher levels of FREEDOM correspond directly to higher levels
of RESPONSIBILITY.
The bigger your dreams, the more responsible you will need to
become to reach them.
But responsibility is a very good thing. It is only when you start
feeling responsible for whatever happens to you, and what you
may be causing other people, that you will allow yourself to
grow and identify yourself as the creator of your own life, a
completely free man or woman, with 100% power to reach all
his or her deepest and wildest dreams.
So be responsible now and enjoy signing your own FREEDOM
PAPERS.
