1 BASIS OF CALCULATION

Total External Static Pressure Loss is calculated based on highest pressure drop path.

Air Volume is referred from DD2 equipment schedule.

System Layout is extracted from coordinated shop drawing Model.

Duct pressure loss per meter is calculated based on ASHRAE Friction Chart for Round Ducts.

Equations used in the calculation to arrive pressure loss, based on ASHRAE Handbook Fundamentals 2009,
Chapter 21.
