Introduction:
one theory
role of the nervous system in speech, the brain sends the order of an action (voluntary or
involuntary) to the nerves that move the muscles, but most of the muscles in the vocal tract are in
pairs but both right and left sides move together (for example the JAW), but when the right and left
sides of the brain does not work together is gives place to spasms in the muscles but if it persists is
not a spasm but a blocker
Emotions
Emotion is condition that is able to interfere with the correct operation, working of our body,
causing an interference in the performance of an action or blocking
PSYCHOSOMATIC DISORDER, not localized in the whole vocal tract but in the nervous system
and then it affects to some organs in the vocal tract
disorder that involves blocking of speech but also prolongations and repetitions of words and
sounds

Despite the dramatic changes in physical, emotional and cognitive domains that are
likely to
impact stuttering treatment, adolescents response to stuttering treatment is not
well documented.
