Daily Writing: November 16th

In highschool, we had a project that we essentially worked on for all four years of high
school, and then had to present to a board of teachers at the end for a grade. This was probably
one of the worst, if not the worst presentation I have ever done in my life. I had terrible visuals,
that clearly were half-assed, my speech aspect of my presentation was alright, but my delivery
was painful to listen to. The only good aspect of the entire presentation, was that I dressed up
nicely, but that was all. Another presentation that went horribly was my UWRT 1104 multi-
modal research project. We had planned out our presentation, made a great powerpoint that was
very informative, and had practiced several times. When we presented however, it took far
longer to get through all of the information. Out of fear of not reaching the goal time, my partner
talked very slowly and also unfortunately said um often. When I realized that we were almost
out of time, I tried to quickly speed through the powerpoint to no avail. That was probably one of
my worst experiences with presentation ever.
