5. ANALYZE LEARNERS STATE WHO YOUR LEARNERS ARE HERE: MATH ANALYSIS
STATE OBJECTIVES (PLEASE USE ACTIVE MEASURABLE VERBS, FOR EXAMPLE, MAYBE
Teacher will check the online access to the program as well as the wifi signal.
Prepare the Learners
The teacher will explain what is required of the students prior to each phase of the lesson.
Provide the Learning Experience
Teacher will start the Quizizz and get the students started.
Teacher will pass out the paper quiz once the individual students have finished the Quizizz.
REQUIRE LEARNER PARTICIPATION (& TEACHING STYLE)
Practice
Discussion of permutations, combinations, binomial theorem, and mathematical
induction, sequences and series.
Feedback
Students will complete a paper quiz.
Evaluation of Instruction
Students got into the competitive part of the lesson.
I believe they increased their comprehension of the material of Chapter 9.
Reflection on lesson overall (this area should include your thoughts, comments, ideas, i.e.
I thought the lesson went well overall.
There were small glitches with the technology. Certain students were unable to access
the wifi at first, which caused some problems.
I wouldnt really change anything for next time. The kids enjoyed it and they
performed well on the quiz (and on the Chapter 9 test for that matter).
