AUCTION NOTICE

Sealed quotations affixing court fee stamp of Rs. 8.25 (Rupees eight and paisa
twenty five) only are invited from Registered Industries/Firms having up-to-date registration
Certificate of Pollution Control Board, Department of Environment & Forest, for
environmentally sound recycling of Hazardous Wastes (Scrap Batteries) under the provision
of Hazardous Waste (Management, Handling & Trans Boundary Movement) by the
undersigned to dispose off various unserviceable Communication related Equipment &
Accessories / Computer & Accessories / Batteries (6 Volt /12 Volt) / Batteries of Hand Held
Radios / MV Items/ etc. of APRO.
The Bidder will have to show the valid certificates at the time of collection of the
Tender Paper to ascertain the genuineness.
Intending bidders, who meet the criteria may collect the details of items along with
Terms & Conditions on payment of Rs.500/- (Rupees five hundred) only through uncrossed
IPO / BANK DRAFT / DCR payable in favour of the Director of Police (Commn), Assam
on any working day during office hours up to 11-08-2017.
Tenders will be received up to 1300 hr on 14/08/2017 in the office of the
Addl. Director General of Police (Commn), Assam, Ulubari, Guwahati-7 and will be opened
on the same day at 1500 hr.

AUCTION OF VARIOUS UNSERVISEBLE ITEMS OF APRO

Sealed tenders affixing court fee stamp of Rs. 8.25 (Rupees eight and paisa twenty
five) only are invited from the Registered Industries / Firms by the undersigned to dispose off
various unserviceable Communication related Equipment & Accessories / Computer &
Accessories / Batteries (6 Volt /12 Volt) / Batteries of Hand Held Radios / MV Items/ etc. of
APRO listed at Appendix A
Tenders will be received up to 1300 hr on 14/08/2017 in the office of the
Addl. Director General of Police (Communication), Ulubari, Guwahati-7 and will be opened
on the same day at 1500 hrs. The tender must be sealed and superscripted in red ink with
PRICE BID FOR VARIOUS UNSERVISEBLE ITEMS OF APRO. One authorized
representative of a firm bidding for will be allowed to be present at the time of opening the
tenders. Successful bidders will be intimated after finalization of the tender.

Inspection at Site: Inspection will be allowed if Tender document is in hand,

between 12 AM to 3 PM from 24-07-2017 to 11-08-2017.
The Bidder must submit the following along with the quotation.
1. Copy of up-to-date Registration Certificate of Pollution Control Board,
Assam, Department of Environment & Forest, for environmentally sound
recycling of Hazardous Wastes (Scrap Batteries) under the provision of
Hazardous Waste (Management, Handling & Trans Boundary Movement) duly
attested by Gazetted Officer.
2. Copy of up-to-date Firm Registration, duly attested by Gazetted Officer.
3. Copy of Sales Tax / GST registration certificate, duly attested by Gazetted
Officer.
4. Copy of PAN card in the name of owner/name of the firm, duly attested by
Gazetted Officer.

Quotations without the above documents will not be accepted for consideration.

The bidders must be invariably deposit the EARNEST MONEY @ Rs 10,000.00

(Rupees ten thousand) only in the form of NSC / KVP / Bank Draft in favour of Director of
Police (Commn) Assam.
 The stores will be auctioned to the successful bidder whose tender will be accepted by
the undersigned, who offers the HIGHEST BID, satisfy the terms & conditions and the
offered price is higher than the minimum price fixed by the board.
The rates should be quoted both in figures & words distinctly. Any alteration,
correction, modification of the rates over the original shall not be accepted.
The successful bidders will be required to deposit the TOTAL CONTRACT
VALUE in the form of Bank Draft in favour of Director of Police (Commn) Assam, within
2(two) days from the date of finalization of the bid. In case the successful bidder fails to
deposit Contract Value in time, the EARNEST MONEY so deposited will be forfeited to the
Govt. of Assam.
The successful bidders shall also be liable to lift the store from APRO HQ, Ulubari,
Guwahati-7 within 24 (Twenty four) hours after depositing the full amount.
In case the successful bidder fails lift the store within the stipulated time, the
EARNEST MONEY and the CONTRACT VALUE so deposited will be forfeited to the
Govt. of Assam.
In the event of any dispute relating to the auction, decision of the
Addl. DGP(Commn), Assam, Ulubari, Guwahati-7 will be final and binding upon the bidders
in all respects.
