INFORMATION

The undersigned City Prosecutor accuses EDSEL JAMES

SANDICO, a resident of Barangay Poblacion, Digos City, Davao del
Sur, Philippines of the crime of RAPE, defined and penalized under
Article 266-A, par. 1(b), as amended, and R.A. 8363, The anti- Rape
Law of 1997 committed as follows:

That sometime in October 14, 2017, at Purok 5, Brgy. New

Opon, Magsaysay, Davao del Sur, the above-named accused, did
then and there, willfully, unlawfully and feloniously raped the person
of DAISY ANN CATUBAG, by inserting his penis as well his fingers
into the victims vagina around 11:13 p.m.

That as a result of said rape, the victim gave was traumatized

and psychologically disturbed, and suffered actual and moral
damages in the amount as may be awarded by Honorable Trial Court
under the Provisions of the New Civil Code.
