Connecting with the Berlin Tech Community
Almost two months after the successful launch of the very first Primalbase office in Amsterdam,
we are ready to welcome token holders to our new office in Berlin. The opening party is less
than two weeks away, and we have collaborated with some really cool projects to prepare a truly
special event for the members of the Primalbase community, as well as partners and friends of
the project.

In this months report, you will find updates on Primalbase locations, the development of
supporting digital tools and projects weve been working on with our partners.

Primalbase Location Updates

Primalbase Amsterdam
Its been two months since the opening of the Amsterdam office and its been great to see more
and more token holders finding their way to the office. If youve had a chance to come by and
work, or just to check out the space, please remember to take pictures and share them on social
media with the hashtags #primalbase and #primalbasehq.

It was also great to welcome the first tenants of our private offices: Waves, Quiqup and Binary
District. In the coming weeks, we expect to welcome the team from the Blockchain Institute
Amsterdam R&D Lab, who are also members of our residency program. These teams are work-
ing on some really exciting projects, and we are honoured that they have chosen Primalbase as
their creative office space. Expect to hear more about each of our residents soon!

Primalbase Berlin Launch Party

The opening of our second office is only a few weeks away and we, along with our amazing team
of designers and builders, have been working hard to get everything ready for December 15th.
So be sure to follow us on social media to watch the progress!

The office is located right in the centre of Berlin at the Potsdamer Platz 11. Similar to the office
in Amsterdam, this space will also have a number of private offices as well as the co-working
area reserved for our token holders.

At this stage, 30% of the private offices have been leased all to companies that operate in the
blockchain space. We will release more information about these companies and their projects,
once the office is up and running.

Official invitations to the opening have already been sent to token holders and tenants. If you

 Primalbase in London
After the small setback we experienced last month with the acquisition of our initial choice for
the London office, we are now in negotiations for a new space. This office is actually bigger than
the previous one we had our eyes on and, whats more, the location is just a stones throw away
from the famed Silicon Roundabout. The area has great transport links and, in our unbiased
opinion, the best nightlife in the city.

As excited as we are about the new location in London, at this point we are still in the process of
negotiating terms. This means that we cant start renovations on the building or advertising
vacancies. For this reason, we have had to push back the opening of the office which was
originally scheduled for January 2018. We now expect to open in early Spring 2018, but we will
update the community as soon as we have any more developments. This will take place in our
weekly slack chat and across our social media channels.

New location names

While we are working to secure deals for the upcoming Primalbase locations, we have decided
to update their names. The locations, previously known as Werf, Techno, Queen, Liberty and
Lion, have been renamed to simple three letter abbreviations akin to what you might find on
your boarding pass at the airport.

From now on, Primalbase locations will be referred to as:

Booking Platform
The booking platform has been live for over a month now and were happy to report that the
uptake has been great. It will soon be extended to include the option to book desks in the
shared office space at Primalbase BER (Berlin).

Over the last couple weeks, we have received a few questions from token holders about account

Ethereum Gateway
We are excited to share that the much-anticipated gateway to the Ethereum blockchain was
released to our testnet server last week. Since then, it has been undergoing stress testing and
will be publicly released this week.
We really appreciate your patience and understanding and are enthusiastic about this big step
forward. We will publish a special blog post on Medium in the upcoming weeks to discuss its
functionality in more detail, as well as provide more information on its technical specifications.

Blockchain Events
Binary District Education Center produces a variety of educational programs and events centred
around new technologies including VR, AI, Big Data, IoT, and blockchain. They are hosting a
series of events around Europe on developments and trends in the tech, blockchain in particular.

Primalbase is proud to be partnering with Binary District to host blockchain related meet-ups in
our Amsterdam and Berlin offices.

December 15: Berlin Blockchain Day
Berlin Blockchain Day will feature presentations and keynote speeches from some of the worlds
leading blockchain researchers and developers. The event, which coincides with the grand
opening of the Primalbase office, will be a great opportunity to network with fellow blockchain
enthusiasts.

January 31: Security and Stability of Blockchains

Binary District is hosting an open lecture with Peter Todd, a Bitcoin Core developer and longtime
contributor to its open source code, at Primalbase AMS. Peter Todd is justifiably considered one
of the best applied cryptographers in the blockchain technology. Todd is the author of multiple
theoretical papers, with a strong focus on the security and stability of blockchain. He has also
been very vocal about the issue of scalability he is an ardent proponent of maintaining
decentralisation, and is critical of blockchains that propose a centralised base protocol layer.
Todd is also involved with the Bitcoin startup Coinkite and Dark Wallet.
