I've seen a few HP CP4525 transfer belts fail to reset the life count to 100%.

If
this happens the New ITB flag will be in the "tripped" position (see photo). Use
the following procedure to reset the flag on the ITB so it can be reinstalled and
trip the printer's "New ITB sensor" flag.

1. Clean the New ITB sensor flag thoroughly with canned air and pull the flag
toward you to make sure it swings freely. It's on the right, near the cyan drum.
(see photo: ITB sensor.jpg)

2. Use a pen or paperclip to press in the center hole on the side of the new ITB
while turning the white Alienation Gear clockwise. (see photo: ITB flag reset.jpg)

3. After a few turns the ITB reset flag will reappear. I prefer leaving it at an
angle as shown rather than at 90 degrees. This minimizes the chance of accidentally
tripping it.

4. Insert the new ITB and turn power on. It should start callibrating. If it
doesn't, repeat the process.

5. Print a supply status page to verify that the ITB life is at 100%.
