5. Known issues

Common video card issues.

- On some computers having ATI Radeon 7500 or 8500, GeForce FX 5200/5600

installed, few visual artifacts on landscapes may appear. Try to turn Use
Static Buffer off in Options screen. This may cause a slight performance
drop so it is highly recommended NOT to play with Visibility Range at
Maximum.

- On GeForce video cards Fog Table Emulation should be enabled to

correctly draw the fog. In other case the game may work incorrectly.

- You will experience game slowdown without AGP drivers installed. Check
your video card properties – “Bus type: PCI” means that AGP drivers are
not installed. You can find them at your motherboard manufacturer’s site.

If the game is performing poorly

- Decrease texture quality and visibility range

- Defragment your hard drive
- Try to change options of your video card
- Disable antivirus software

Sound issues

You will experience troubles with sound, install the latest drivers for
your sound card. Or try to turn hardware sound acceleration off.

Network game issues

Game uses external server program. If you can not join the game, try
running the server on computer that is not running A.I.M.
