Pattern:
Using CC and 5mm straight needles, CO
40 sts and 2 edge sts. (= 42sts)
Knit 6 rows in garter stitch.
Change for MC, knit 3 rows in garter
stitch.
Change for CC, knit 3 rows in garter stitch.
Change for MC, knit 6 rows in stockinette
stitch.
Knit 30 sts in stockinette stitch, turn, purl
18 sts. Keep the 2*12 other stitches on
stitch holders.
Knit those 18 central sts in stockinette
stitch until work measures 3.93 inch (10
cm), ending with a purled row, then start
forming heel.
Heel decreases:
(In stockinette st.)
Row 1: Work row until 5 sts remain,
K2tog, slip the next stitch on right needle,
wind the yarn around the slipped stitch,
then re-slip the stitch on left needle and put
the yarn on the back of the work. Turn
piece.

Row 2: Work row until 5 sts remain, P2tog,
slip the next stitch on right needle, wind
the yarn around the slipped stitch, then re-
slip the stitch on left needle and put the
yarn on the back of the work. Turn piece.
Row 3: Work row until 4 sts remain,
K2tog, slip the next stitch on right needle,
wind the yarn around the slipped stitch,
then re-slip the stitch on left needle and put
the yarn on the back of the work. Turn
piece.
Row 4: Work row until 4 sts remain, P2tog,
slip the next stitch on right needle, wind
the yarn around the slipped stitch, then re-
slip the stitch on left needle and put the
yarn on the back of the work. Turn piece.
Row 5: Work row until 3 sts remain,
K2tog, slip the next stitch on right needle,
wind the yarn around the slipped stitch,
then re-slip the stitch on left needle and put
the yarn on the back of the work. Turn
piece.
Row 6: Work row until 3 sts remain, P2tog,
slip the next stitch on right needle, wind
the yarn around the slipped stitch, then re-
slip the stitch on left needle and put the
yarn on the back of the work. Turn piece.
Row 7: Knit all sts.
After forming the heel, switch to double-
point needles, pick-up 7 sts on the side of
the heel place marker, knit the 24 sts left
on the stitch holders, place marker and
pick-up 7sts on the other side of the heel.
Decrease rounds:
Round 1: Knit to 2sts before marker,
K2tog, slm, knit to marker, slm, K2tog.
Round 2: Knit all stitches.
Repeat these 2 decrease rounds 6 more
time.
The distance between the heel and the end
of the decrease rounds must be approx 4.33
inches.
9 sts remaining, cut the thread and pull it
through remaining sts, tighten tog and
fasten.
Weave in ends, and made a 2nd slipper the
same way.

Then remove the markers, place one

marker at the beginning of the rounds and
knit in stockinette stitch as many rounds as
necessary to fit your feet perfectly.
On the last round, place markers as follow:
on both side of the central top line, knit 9
sts and place marker. You will then get 18
sts on the top of the slippers, the 2 markers
and 19 sts on the sole.

Then, start the final decrease rounds.

Final decrease rounds:

The distance between starting those rounds
and the end of the slipper will be approx.
2.16 inches.
FD Round 1: Knit to 2 sts before 1st
marker, K2tog, slm, K2tog, Knit to 2 sts
before 2nd marker, K2tog, slm, K2tog.
FD Round 2: knit all stitches.
Repeat those 2 rounds 4 more time, and
then knit 2 times the FD Round 1.
