It is usual, on the construction sector, specifically in constructions sites, a huge amount of

works that were made in the wrong way and have been made again. Many mistakes happen
still in the projects, in the beginning of the whole construction, where projects that were send
to the making were badly made, with few details and mainly, without communication other
professionals that are involved in the same job. Also, have to add the piece of this mistakes to
the few quantity of specialized professionals that execute the makings, in the most parts
preferring to make things without give the proper attention to the projects. With the Building
Information Modeling (BIM) it is possible to increase the communication with all he
professionals that are involved in the making progress and also can detect errors before than
they appear. In this way, this study has how goal, first, through the theoretical references, to
explain the technical subjects involved. After, with the case study applied in a building that was
made in the city of Caxias do Sul/RS , model the projects at the Revit software how way to use
the BIM technology and after modeled to make an interference analyzes in order to reach a
quantitate and quality analyzes and a bufget of reworks that happened because of the lack of
compatibilization.
