MPC SCHOLARSHIP AND STUDENT DISCOUNTS

A. Open to all New Students

Depending on the result of the exam students may enjoy Tuition Fee Discounts ranging from 50% to 100%.

B. Honor Students
Honor Students from Valedictorian, Salutatorian and Honourable mentions are automatically receive tuition
fee discounts.

C. Family Discount
Enjoy a minimum of five percent (5%) discount on tuition fee to any of the brothers or sisters who are
simultaneously enrolled during any one semester.

D. Cash Payment Discount

A Five Percent (5%) discount on Tuition fee is granted to students who pays in full his total fees for the
whole semester upon enrolment or during the first week of classes.

E. ARMED FORCES OF THE PHILIPPINES EDUCATIONAL BENEFIT SYSTEM

This is an agreement prescribes the general policies governing the implementation of presidential decree
number 577.

F. Local Government Unit Scholarship Programs & Private Companies/Foundation Scholarship

Programs
MPC admits government and NGO Scholars from CHED, DOST, etc

Mechanics:

1. Only those who have submitted their application forms & requirements may take the FREE Scholarship Examination.
2. Schedule your Examination with the Student Development Office before May 2018.

**Students who will pass the scholarship exam MUST enrol within 20 days or else forfeit the scholarship. You may enrol for a
minimum down payment of 2,000 only.

A. NEW STUDENTS- Senior High School Completers enrolling for the first time in the college must submit the
following credentials:
Mindanao Polytechnic Placement Test Result
High School Card
Copy of NSO Authenticated Birth Certificate
Certificate of Good Moral Character
2 pcs of 2x2 ID Pictures in White Background

Additional Requirements for Maritime Education Programs

Pass the ISHIHARA Test

Pass the Audiometric Test
Submit the results of the following: Chest X-ray, Hepa-B, CBC, Stool Exam and Urinalysis
Be at least 52 tall
 B. TRANSFEREES/ 2ND COURSER- Students from other Schools who decided to study at MPC must submit the
following Credentials:
Certificate of Good Moral Character form previous school attended
Honorable Dismissal
Official Transcript of Records
Copy of NSO Authenticated Birth Certificate
2 pcs of 2x2 ID Picture in White Background.
C. RETURNEES- Old students who have stopped without having enrolled in other Schools and will enrol again at
MPC must present the grades in all the subjects enrolled in the last semester attended before stopping.
