HOW SKILLS WORK


Damage: How much damage your attacks cause. These are
incorporated into all of your weapon ratings.
Charisma: How likely you are to garner allies. If you find
someone, you can roll dice to see if you can persuade them to
fight for you. Any ally you convince has +3 damage and +3
health. You roll for them in the same turn as your roll for your
character.
Health: How much damage your character can absorb.
Intelligence: How likely your character is to not do something
stupid. Everything you do in a situation is determined by a dice
roll. Your intelligence always comes into play in these
situations.
THE STORY
You live in the postapocalyptic future in someplace that used
to be called Metro City. You survived the Big War, as you have
cleverly dubbed it, and have been wandering about the
destroyed ruins of Metro City for as long as you can remember,
which isnt particularly long since you drank some toxic waste-
tainted water and most of your memory vanished. You met
several friends, and you went adventuring together for a few
years, growing quite close to one another. However, the city is
filled with mutated zombies whose minds were warped by the
waste. They killed your friend, but you escaped alive. So you
are off to find and kill as any zombies as you can, and maybe
exact revenge upon their leader, if you can find him.
Unfortunately, all you have is ultra-outdated technology from
nearly 60 years ago- malfunctioning laser guns, flickery laser
swords, busted force field armor, and an AI helper, a relic from
many years ago that barely works at all. These are your only
tools. Can you do it?
