Rectification Notes for 4 nos Existing Column:

1) To propose and erect temporary steps, working platform and support for top slab
2) Erect temporary support before doing any hacking works on existing structure
3) Hack all loose concrete until reach sound concrete
4) Remove all loose scale and corrosion deposit from the existing exposed bar using wire brush
until steel is fully exposed
5) If area of existing bar reduced more than 10%, please submit as-built main bar and link details
(bar reduce size, actual spacing, etc.) to engineer for proposed bar lapping and bar planting
6) Bar planting to use Hilti injection grout HIT-RE500 (or equi.)
7) Apply approved steel corrosion primer to the exposed bar
8) Once exposed rebar and link are protected or lapped, apply concrete bonding agent Stocrete
SBR (or equi.) to the old concrete surface to receive the new concrete
9) To prepare formwork for column
10) All repair or patching works must use approved non-shrink grout to manufacturer
recommendation
11) Finish concrete must be fully cured by manufacturer recommendation
12) Removal of the formwork, working platform and support shall be carry out upon approval by the
engineer
