Lesson idea implementation: In small groups, students will use iPads or laptops to read and listen to the
eBook I created about shapes. This will allow them to familiarize themselves with identifying shapes and their
attributes as well as print concepts. They will also be asked to try to read the eBook on their own, using the
voiceover for support.
After students have become familiar with shapes and eBooks, as a class with lost of support from the teacher
we will create our own eBook about shapes using PowerPoint. Students will be involved in the process of
evaluating shapes and their attributes, as well as in creating the eBook. The co-created eBook will then be
available in the online classroom library for everyone to read and may even be shared with other classes.
