Strengths of the lesson:


Good positive start with days of the week and months
Lovely video and singing
Very good interaction with the children
Very good insistence on raising hands at the beginning (but see below)
Varied, interesting and challenging activities and resources
Good to have individual, group and whole class activities
You made good use of your MST
Well planned and thought out I can see you are applying the strategies you learnt in the
international schools
Very nice environment and feel to the class

Focus for next lesson:


How do you assess your students? You can include this in your next lesson plan
Monitor carefully the noise level in the classroom and be aware that this can turn quickly
into bad behaviour especially during transition
Think about your transitions/routines etc how can you tidy these up?
Think about the reward system. Would it not be better to give explicit and clear positive
feedback?
Dont forget to make a board for the classroom as we discussed
