Colonization in Australia/
SS6H4: Explain the impact of English colonization on
current Aboriginal basic rights, health, literacy, and
language.
Students will understand how English colonization in the
past affects current Aboriginals.
Using Storyboard That, students will create comic strips
explaining how English colonization affected the
Aboriginals.
Level 4: Extended Thinking (Create).
My gifted learners can design a video about colonization
effects on current society. My below level learners will
describe the cause and effect of English colonization in
Australia.
The goal is for students to learn how to make comic strips
to explain historical concepts. Skills used are
keyboarding, graphic design and drag & drop.
