This course is intended to develop in learners a new paradigm Positive Thinking-Positive Being-Positive
Doing and skills in cultivating a positive mindset and attitude to cope with their daily encounters of tasks
and people in the workplace. With a practical and interactive approach, beginning the learning on one self
and extend to others, participants would decode positive thinking, assess themselves as a positive or
negative thinker, manage negative self-talks to reduce stresses and emotions, and build effective working
relationships with others by applying positive thinking in work context.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER Ms. Celia Yip

Ms. Yip is a seasoned training & development professional with over 15 years' extensive experience in working with all
organizational levels creating, promoting, and delivering training solutions designed to support business and organizational
goals. She is passionate about unleashing individuals unique potential and talents via interactive and enjoyable learning
interventions.

Prior to becoming an independent consultant, most recently, Ms. Yip was the Director of Learning & Development in The
Langham Hospitality Group. There she was in charge of both corporate and hotel training, leading functions such as setting
the strategic training direction, needs assessment, curriculum design and planning for over 4,000 employees across various
regions.

Ms. Yip had also held managerial and senior positions in multi-national financial services companies. She started her training
profession in HSBC, a global financial giant with employees over 300,000 employees. Along with several career advancements,
there she built a solid skill set in training consultancy, design and delivery of a wide spectrum of programmes from basic
personal skills to advanced leadership and management development, covering communications, coaching, change management,
performance management as well as many other topics. Later she brought these skills and experience into her role as Senior
Training Manager in banking industry. Besides establishing the full training curriculum, she also successfully designed and
implemented the bank-wide cultural campaign for over 2,000 employees.

Ms. Yip is a licensed MBTI and DiSC practitioner, and completed the fast track coaching programme. She also obtained double
Master Degrees in Human Resources Management and MBA from Macquarie University.

Share tips and tools in managing stresses and emotions
4. Build Effective Working Relationships with Application of Positive Thinking in Work Context
Examine the Relationship Building Model with various stakeholders at work with a glance of generational
differences
Identify individual behavioral profile via Social Styles assessment so to manage perception and develop ways in
working with others
Workplace application case study/skill practice in handling difficult work scenarios and conflicts in the
workplace
