21 Century Skills:
Environmental literacy: demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the environment and the circumstances and
conditions affecting it, particularly as relates to air, climate, land, food, energy, water and ecosystems.
Materials:
o camping trip using a poster (pictures of camp fire, tent, sand dunes, desert, camping, barbecue).
o Worksheet.
o Some students bring some materials for their special trip which they are going to act it out such as cooking
materials, costumes, etc.
Key vocabulary: trip, tent, camp fire, sand dunes, desert, camping, scorpions, barbecue, any vocab are applied for
Common misconceptions for learners, ways of identifying these and techniques for addressing these
misconceptions: Learners may need further explanation and consolidation of using the stars strategy.
Learners may build their story out of the main topic which is a special trip, so I will act out a simple story that shows
it is a kind of trip.
Evaluation / Assessment: (How will you know your students have achieved the goal?)
Group presentation and I will assess each students speaking that shows clear ideas and good use of grammar and
vocabulary.
Personal focus (related to PDP): In this lesson I am working on my
