WEDDING PROGRAM

INTRODUCTION

EMCEE: Quoted from Joshua Harriss book entitled Boy Meets Girl Falling in
love was Gods idea. He was the one who gave us the ability to appreciate beauty and
experience attraction. He was the one who invented marriage so that the blazing fire of
romantic love could become something even more beautiful a pulsing red-hot ember
of the covenant love of marriage.

EMCEE: A blessed and mirthful morning to everyone. Welcome to the celebration of

love of Dens and Susie. An hour ago, we witnessed the exchanging of vows and the
marriage rites of Dens and Susie, this time let us savor the moment and join the newly
weds in their first meal together.

PRESENTATION OF THE ENTOURAGE

EMCEE: Ladies and gentlemen, let us meet the members of the Bridal Entourage! As I
mention your designations or titles, kindly stand for the crowds recognition. To start
with, let us meet our little darlings who showered the aisle with petals, the Flower
girls.

Let us get to meet the young Apollos who brought the marriage symbols into the altar
the coin, arrahae, rosary and bible bearers.

Let us now meet the secondary sponsors together with the Maid of Honor and the Best
Man.

This wedding would never be complete without these well-chosen people who acted
as special witnesses, guides and advisers. Let us welcome the principal sponsors:
1.
2.

1
We should not forget the people who hold special places in Dens and Susies
heartstheir parents who serve as the instruments of God to give them the gift of life
Our late Mr. Dalmacio H. Quito was replaced by Mr. Segundo Tayag, uncle of Susie
and Mrs. Petronila Quito her loving mother . Let us also welcome Mr. Benigno Paruli
and Mrs. Violeta Paruli, Dens parents.

ENTRANCE OF THE NEWLY WED

EMCEE: Real love is always fated. It has been arranged before time. It is the most
meticulously prepared of coincidences. And fate, of course, is simply a secular term for
the will of God and coincidence for His grace. Dens and Susies love story like all real
love stories was arranged by God. All the coincidences that made it possible were
interventions of His grace. Their story was Gods story.

Let us now stand as we welcome our newly weds. Let us give our warmest and
unceasing applause to Mr. Dennis and Mrs. Susie Paruli.

The song ______________________ will be played while the couple is entering.

December 22, 2012 is a special day for our newly weds. It is the day when these two
people chose to exchange vows and pledges and be one with the Lord. One as husband
and wife, now and for eternity. Indeed! This day brings joy to all of us. We share with
the excitement and bliss felt by this couple. We experience the magical sensation
bounded by love and commitment.

A godly marriage is a man and a woman side by side in the hands of Gods
providence, gazing up to Him so may I request everyone to stand for our
Thanksgiving Prayer to be led by Tito Bernie Henson.

INTRODUCTION OF THE GROOM AND BRIDE

2
EMCEE: Courtship is a season for two people to gain friendship, to get to know each
others character and to see how they interact as a couple because it is a relationship
between a man a woman who are actively and intentionally together to consider
marriage. It is a pathway that leads into deepening levels of seriousness. It starts with
Id like to get to know you and ends with Id like to marry you.

Susie accepted the love of Dens in the year 2003, 25 th of November. Today, it is their
ninth year and almost a month relationship.

Marriage is growing in friendship, communication, fellowship and romance. Let us

now witness a moviemaker presentation. This includes a glimpse of photos on the lives
of Dens and Susie.

PICTORIAL/BUFFET

EMCEE: We shall pause for a while for our pictorial with the newly weds. The couple
is actually requesting to have this picture taking per table so let us wait for them to
approach the table where you are seated. We just want to request everyone to stay after
the meal to proceed to the program.

SONG NUMBER

Presentation 1

Love takes time. It needs a history of giving and receiving, laughing and crying. Love
realizes and accepts that there will be disagreements and disturbing emotions but since
it is a commitment to growth, happiness and fulfillment of one another it believes and
endures all things.

Let us now enjoy the moment and feel in love as our newly wed sway their first dance
as husband and wife with the music of ________________________________________.

First Dance of the Couple

EMCEE: We shall now move on with our program the traditional ceremonycake
slicing and the toast.

3
CUTTING OF THE CAKE

May I request Dens to escort Susie to the cake area.

Cake symbolizes the sweetness of marriage of two people who are in love with each
other. Marriage becomes sweet and tasty as cake when love and faithfulness remain
the sole ingredients of lifetime commitment.

Now let us see how Dens and Susie savor the sweetness of their love as they feed each
other with a piece of cake.

CEREMONIAL TOAST

EMCEE: We shall now see how Dens and Susie show their sweetness and passion
through the drinking of wine.

WINE symbolizes the cup of love that flows in a couples life. It is taken by two
persons whose hearts are conquered by a real love May it bring forth a new life, a
new hope in you. Lets make a toast for an everlasting LOVE!

Let us now witness the newlywed couple to do a cross-arm toast.

Once again, let us give our newly weds a round of applause.

RELEASING OF THE DOVES

Dove releasing has been a symbol of love, peace, hope, innocence, purity and fidelity.
Tradition holds that if a pair of doves is seen on your wedding day a happy home is
assured. Doves are dedicated and devoted to their mates. For this reason couples have
long been releasing doves at weddings signifying their love, devotion and promise to
each other. They are ideal symbols for our newly wed.

Let us now witness the releasing of the doves by Dens and Susie.

BOUQUET TOSS

4
Let us now witness the bouquet toss. Tradition says that whoever gets the bouquet
shall be the next to marry. She keeps the bouquet to ensure her destiny.

Flowers symbolize the love and affection of the newly wed. Flowers add colors and
scents to their married life. May your relationship and every moment you will have
together always bloom like flowers.

The couple will announce the names of the lovely ladies.

INSTRUCTIONS: The participants will form a circle. While the music is playing they
will pass each stem of white rose. When the music stops, the bride will announce the
chosen lady.

The song ___________________________________________ will be played.

REMOVAL OF THE GARTER

Let us now have the removal of the garter by the groom from the bride.

Garter symbolizes how strong and unbreakable your relationship is. A circularly
formed garter let happiness and love stay forever. May you always be strong
regardless of how many trials and barriers will come your way.

May we request the groom to remove the garter from the bride. The couple will now
choose the man who deserves the garter.

May we request now our lucky gentleman to place the garter to the lucky lady. The
lucky lady and gentleman will now take the limelight.

Thank you so much.

EMCEE: May we now hear some words of thanks from our couple.

EMCEE: Let us now stand for our closing prayer to be led by___________________.

EMCEE: Thank you so much for coming and witnessing the union of two hearts.

For Dens and Susie, may you always be ready for forever as you learn to care, sacrifice
and love each other through all lifes adversities. May you always remember that
Gods plan for the two of you to become one was purely genius. May you will be dwelt
forever in His love.

Again, let us give the couple a resounding applause.

I am Jed Madlambayan saying, The tales of boy meets girl are the products of human
love and goodness. They are the outstanding and refulgent signs of Gods mercy,
kindness and love to all of us. May God bless us all.
