PRESENTATION, ANALYSIS AND INTERPRETATION OF DATA

This Chapter presented the result of the findings of

the study including the interpretation and analysis

acquired by the researchers from the respondents.

1. Profile of the Respondents

1.1. Age

Mean age: 30.18

This shows that, 40 or 40% belong to age bracket of

25-29 while 6 or 6% of the respondents belong to ages

from 30-34 and 50-54. The mean age is 30.18 which implies

that majority of the respondents are adults.

It shows that that out of 50 respondents, 64 or 64%

that the study is male-dominated.

The table found out that, 76 or 76% belong to Roman

Catholics and 8 or 8% of them belong to Methodists and

other religious sect. This implies that majority of them

are Roman Catholics.

The study revealed that 61 or 61% of the respondents

selected in the streets which they are more credible

It shows that only age of the profile variable

showed significant relationship between the level of

awareness of the residents of San Gabriel Village on

crime prevention program on crimes against Robbery

relative to the above dimensions as indicated by the

lesser p-value at the 0.05 level of significance, all

other variables are accepted.

Respondents assessments are influenced by their age

variables.

4. Dimension/s of the study which is/are not implemented

Based on the findings of the study, police

visibility and police community relations are sometimes

implemented with both have average mean of 2.08 and 2.09,

respectively.

5. Proposed actions to improve the dimensions which are


not implemented

PNP Tuguegarao City should conduct more police

visibility at crime prone areas in the barangay to thwart

criminals and other lawless elements.

PNP should conduct more community-based

activities to win the hearts and minds of the citizen.

Request additional personnel to conduct foot and

mobile patrol during nighttime.
