Our aim for this survey is to find out the stance of an incoming
senior high student, to gauge whether or not they are ready for the
senior high program and the courses that they will undertake when
they enter into pre-college. We also aim to find out if they are issues
that they want to be addressed.
Methodology
1
Our questions are also based on their confidence in their own
skill as well as how responsible they perceive themselves to be. Most
of these Senior High Programs are the major colleges such as DLSU,
ADMU, UST and would likely force students living in the provinces to
live in a dormitory or rent a condominium.
Population
Our population ranges from ages 13-17, our mode is ages 15 and our
standard deviation of 0.8188. From this information we can tell that
our age range is quite limited but this is to be expected because of the
age range that can enter into Senior High. Unfortunately with our
data, we could not achieve a normal distribution in our survey. In our
boxplot, ages 13 are suspected outliers yet the ages 14, 15, 16 and 17
are within the interquartile fences.
Despite the goal of K-12 System and Senior High cutting short their
Educational Years for the average student, some are taking extra
years in education in hopes of a higher paying-job. It is in our culture
2
that we do our best to get the highest education possible, college being
the end goal and the starting point to a high-paying job. The K-12
made it longer for the average student to get into college yet shorter
for those who cannot afford a college tuition it is not within the
realm of possibility that the average student would continue their
education to a bachelors degree.
Confidence is Key

Conclusion
Our data shows that Senior High will be a beneficial opportunity for
those who believe that they are ready for it. Based from our data, we
believe that the students are even taking extra steps in preparing for
college. Despite the young age, these students are showing
extraordinary levels of responsibility.
