Critical Comments and Reflections:

After teaching on day one, we discovered that there is one student in our class that does not want to
participate in the lesson. He refused to draw anything because he did not know how and wanted us
to draw it for him. For our next lesson, we need to think about how to balance giving him the attention
he needs and giving the rest of the class attention.
For our presentation on hybrid animals, we could have included more pictures and asked more
questions about specific characteristics of the examples we displayed. It was difficult to gather all my
thoughts and not move through the presentation quickly. For the next lesson, we need to keep trying
to discuss the important parts of the objective and try not to move so quickly through it.
I am ecstatic that the students loved the lesson. They all seemed to enjoy the creativity aspect and
talking about their creations.
