This assignment was the Buncee Virtual Field Trip assignment. In this work, we were to

give a presentation on a field trip. To construct the field trip online, we each incorporated photos

and videos to make the audience feel as if they were there. Buncee is practically another

presentation website, much like Prezi. I really enjoyed this project, as it really brought out how

much I enjoy History. For my field trip, I took students to Washington D.C. On this trip, we

would tour historical locations such as the Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial,

Pennsylvania Avenue, the Capitol Building, and the White House. In addition, I would show

photo or video clips of events throughout our nations history to show the sites significance and

function. In conjunction, we would create a Tellagami, which is a speaking cartoon of ourself, to

introduce our presentation.

I really enjoyed this assignment and will look to incorporate it into my classroom. I may

use this exact assignment, and give credit to Professor Moroney. Field trips are fun and offer us a

first-hand, up close and personal, experience with subject matter. If not this style assignment, I

may just have students use this website to present on a topic of their choice. Familiarizing ones

self with different software allows students to gain new-found skills and knowledge of new

technology. From and educators perspective, using different tools keeps the interest level of

your pupils high, and maintains their engagement. The ISTE Standard used in this work is the
Creative Communicator, as we students communicated clearly and expressed ourselves to an

audience, publishing particular content, and presenting it to our professor and classmates.
