Question/Topic: Find a group, choose one country and pick one type of problem
that the country has.

Summary: Firstly, I asked Pluem(Daran) to be in my group and I told him that I

want the same group member which have bam and Teeny. As a result, he
disagreed and I accepted his opinion because of some reason that someone in
the previous project in quarter 1 didnt help groupmate to do a work. Then, we
find a new member, so we asked Pluem(Sippaphon) to join our group and he
accepted immediately. Next, we asked print to join our group because I saw that
he not have a group yet. After that, we want 5 people in our group, so we asked
Tonklar to join our group. At first, Tonklar thought with himself for a while
because he also got asked by another group too. As a result, he joined my group
because we persuaded him. Secondly, it has 5 countries that Mr. Woody gave to
our class and we need to choose only 1 country. So, we chose Iran because
Pluem(Daran) and Print learned before in their old school. Next, we chose child
mortality problem in Iran. Lastly, we divided each work log in the proposal. For
me I will did about product description part.

Analysis/Opinion: I thought that in this project will have many information since
we have Print and Tonklar because Print and Tonklar good at research a lot. For
me I good at invention, so I will plan to do the product as best as I can. Also, this
work will be finish quickly because we have many people in our group than
others have. We chose child mortality because the most problem between 1990
until 2015 in some province of Iran was child mortality.

Question/Topic: Draft and outline of the product

Summary: Firstly, I find one A4 paper to draw draft and outline of the product.
For the product, we changed many things from the proposal. Then, we will use
2 wood boxes to be the base of the product. Next, we will use two feature
boards and 9 pages of A4 paper. After that, we will use flower model to be an
opium and grass model to be the meadow. Then, we will use piece of rope to
decorate the product. After that, we will use 1 cork wood plate to be the ground
of the model. We will stick the box plate together and put cork wood plate stick
on top of it to be the ground. Then, we will cut the feature board to fit the two
side of edges and stick with the edge of the box plate. After that, we will put an
information that we print stick on the feature board that stick with the edge of
box plate. The information that we will print will have background of Iran
country, background of MDG4, cause and effect of MDG4, Government policy
of Iran, and Solution that Iran did to their country and MDG4 did to Iran, also
our solution that we will create. Next, we will print the map of Iran with
mortality rate and put it on the ground on top of the cork plate. Lastly, we will
make a model that show in the picture below by print it out and stick with piece
of feature and put it in the right place.

Analysis/opinion: I thought that this product quite hard, but if we help each other it will
easy to do. We changed the product design because we thought that the old one it need to
use a lot of stuff to do.

Question/Topic: Where (city or province) is the problem worse in your country -

local level - and state information/data/statistics showing how/why it is worse?
Summary: Sistan and Baluchestan is the second largest province in Iran. This
region is the poorest and also the most undeveloped in Iran. Due to the statistic,
this region has the lowest per capita income in Iran. Also, almost 80 percents of
Baluch are below the poverty line of the country. The average life expectancy is
also lower than the national average for eight years in a row while the infant
mortality rate is highest in the country. It made of rugged and mountainous
terrain which caused it to become a haven of drugs and heroin from across the
borders of Pakistan and Afghanistan. Due to its geography, some geologists
concluded that this province is the closest thing to Mars on Earth. The people
who lived in Sistan and Baluchestan called themselves Baluch. The Baluch is
mostly Sunni Muslims unlike another region of Iran which caused them to want
separate themselves from Irans Persian ethnicity. According to Majid Tafreshi,
a specialist in ethnic and religious minorities in University College of London, he
said that the Balochs want a prosperity and freedom inside their own territory
and have their own government selected from their own people. Also, there are
many armed Sunni Islamic groups, that are linked to al-Qaeda and the Taliban,
operating in Sistan and Baluchistan.

Analysis/opinion: After MDG4 did in Sistan Baluchestan between 1990 until 2015
the mortality rate still high compared to other province of Iran that the mortality
rate decrease and some city was completely gone. I thought that the mortality
rate in this province didnt get out because of the geography and size of the
province. Since geography like a Mars, may be the MDG4 hard to reach all area
in the province. Also, I thought that size was too big, so it can be a problem for
MDG to makes the whole province clean.

Question/topic: What is background of MDG?

Summary: Millennium Development Goals (MDG) has 8 development goals

existed from splitting outrageous neediness to stopping the spread of HIV/AIDS
and giving comprehensive essential training, all of 8 MDG have deadline to
finish the job in 2015. They have aroused remarkable endeavors to address the
issues of the world's humblest.
Analysis/Opinion: It has 8 MDG and each MDG didnt solve the same job. For example,
MDG 4 is role need to decrease child mortality problem in undeveloped country. Every MDG
can solve until 2015 weather it success a goal or not, it need to stop and another
organization will do next.

Question/Topic: Background of MDG4

Summary: Child mortality is the main goal in Millennium Development Goals. It

reduces child mortality by two-thirds from 1990 to 2015. After 2015, child
mortality in composed in the Sustainable Development Goals 3 (SDG3, target 2).
SDG 3 is like version two of MDG4, its role is the same which is reduce child
mortality to fewer than 25 deaths per 1000 live births in all countries by 2030.
Both show the key indicator of the health system in every country. For example,
Iran is one of the countries that MDG4 between 1990 to 2015.

Analysis/Opinion: Main goal of MDG4 is to reduce child mortality and it did in

many countries that have child mortality problem for 1990 to 2015. SDG4
target 2 is version 2 of MDG4 and it has the same role. I thought that we lucky
that we born in Thailand because compared from Iran and Thailand. We live
comfortable and not have many dangerous than Iran.

Topic: Buy a material to make a product

Summary: Firstly, I organized the material in world history period. I asked both
Pluem to bring a mini figure to be a figure in the model. I asked print to bring
small rope in world history class tomorrow. Also, I told them that I will bring 2
box plates, 2 future board, and glue tomorrow.

Analysis/opinion: I divided a job about product and everyone understand, but it

seems that some of my friends didnt pay attention to me. I thought that we
can finish in world history class tomorrow, but I feel that they will not bring
material that I asked them to bring to do in class.

Question/Topic: Do the work

Summary: Today, I forgot to bring 2 feature board, but I still bring 2 boxes plate
and cork wood plate to the class. It was what I thought yesterday, all of my
friend didnt bring the material in our class, but we still have something to do
which is research and create a 7 pages A4 paper size poster in computer and
stick it on the feature board.

Analysis/Opinion: Today, our group bring only 1 cork wood plate and 2 box
plates, so we cant create the model. As a result, we continue to make a
poster. I felt offended that my friend didnt pay attention to product of the
group.

Topic: Finish the product

Summary: I got an illness so, I going to the hospital to check that I got influenza
or not and I absent to school all day. So, I used this chance to finish the product
by myself because tomorrow is the due date. I text to my group mate about
the poster. I asked them to send all of them to me and I will print it out.
I assembled the feature board, model, base, poster together and I will check
bill them about material that I buy tomorrow.

Analysis/opinion: I felt angry at first that they didnt help and pay attention
about this product, but when I read the information in some poster that I
didnt research, I felt better because it has good information.
