AT&T Brings Faster Network to Customers in Potter & Tioga Counties

Brockway, Pa., December 12, 2017 AT&T* added new 4G LTE cell sites to its network in
Potter and Tioga Counties.

In Potter County, the new site in Galeton will serve customers around the intersection Routes 6
and 144. In Tioga County, a new site in Blossburg will serve that community and the Route 15
corridor in southern Tioga County. The company also added a site in Westfield.

I am very pleased that AT&T is making this investment in rural Pennsylvania. Our residents,
businesses and visitors rely on mobile broadband more each day to stay connected to family
and friends, start or grow a business, receive news updates, and share pictures of some of the
most amazing landscapes anywhere, said Senate President Pro Tempore Joe Scarnati.

We want our customers to have a great experience. Theyll be able to download, upload,
stream and play games faster than ever before on our 4G LTE network which is the nations
best data network**, said J. Michael Schweder, president, AT&T Mid Atlantic. Were always
working to provide better coverage. And were investing in our wireless network to accomplish
that.

Schweder said these new sites are among 47 new sites AT&T launched this year and among
384 upgrades we made statewide so far in 2017. AT&T invested more than $800 million in its
networks in Pennsylvania from 2014-2016.

Were constantly investing in our network to give customers the high-quality services they
need to stay connected. This helps Pennsylvanians and those who visit our state have the best
possible experience over the AT&T network, Schweder said.

By building out our 4G LTE network, we also are laying the foundation for our 5G Evolution, the
next advance in network technologies. We are increasing network speeds and capacity, as we
continue to expand the availability and capacity of our network using the latest technology.
