ROCK HALL OF FAMER TO BE PRESENTED WITH LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

On Sunday, February 25, 2018 R&B/Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame inductee, Little Anthony Gourdine a
nickname coined by Alan Freed in 1958 - will be presented with the 2018 Lifetime Achievement Award
by the Footlighters Club of South Florida. The Sunday noon luncheon is a fund-raiser for The Footlighter
Foundation For Indigent Entertainers and Musicians, office address is based in Adventura, FL.

Earlier this year, Little Anthony and his family moved to Boca Raton after years of living in the greater Las
Vegas area. The Footlighters contacted Little Anthony directly and asked would he accept the 2018
Lifetime Award. Connie Francis was the previous recipient.

Anthony said, My one steady therapy during my entire career as a recording artist and performer was to
fish. Even going back to my days of living in Brooklyn, the guys and me would rent a boat and head out
onto Sheepsheads Bay. Even if we didnt catch a fish, it was OK - calming and sheer fun, man. After living
in Vegas, the Boca Raton area was the ideal choice move. It puts me on the East Coast again. Flying to
gigs, concerts and casino dates across the country, I can work and then fish a day or three later the best
of both worlds.

Receiving The Lifetime Achievement Award by the Footlighters Club is an honor I more than welcome.
I know a couple of the members, like Mike Miller. To follow in the footsteps of those honored previously
like namesake Connie Francis, Dion, and Neil Sedaka to name a few - sings volumes. We, amongst
others, started this thing called rock-and-roll and we survived. Like I said in the acceptance speech at the
Rock Hall, we stand on the shoulders of those before us. Stick around long enough and you are honored
by your peers like Jackie Gleason used to say, How sweet it is. An industry award presented by your
peers, validates your career and acknowledges the uniquely treasured ability of being an entertainer. To
tell you the truth, Ive never worked a day in my life 9 to 5 wasnt for me, Little Anthony said candidly.
