2 Known Issues

PS Calls
This is a list of PS Calls known issues that will be fixed in the next
RVS release:
As described in the PS Call Attempt definition, the RB
Setup message detects an Originating Call if physical
resources are allocated for that PS Radio Bearer. However
in the case of Service Type Data a Call Id is always
assigned even when there are no physical resources
assigned (ie PS Rate = 0 kbps); this results in identifying
possible PS Call Setup failures even when PS Rate =
0kbps.
One of the triggers for a Call Successful completion or
Call Drop is the RRC Connection Release message sent
by the RNC. It has been observed that if the UE does not
release the radio resources and complete a previously
initiated procedure (maintaining the call up) after the
RRC Connection release the call is considered
released/dropped anyway.
If during PDP Context Activation the logging tool skips
the RB Setup message, the message sequence stalls and
restarts only when UE returns to idle, unless the network
sends a PDP context Reject.
