1 skein of Lion Brand Vannas Choice yarn. I used Olive, Linen and Taupe which can be
found HERE or HERE, or any worsted weight (4) yarn
scissors
yarn needle
1 button (optional). I used a coconut shell button for my hats which can be found HERE.

Abbreviations:

ch= chain
dc= double crochet
st= stitch
fpdc = Front post double crochet (yo and insert hook from the front to the back around the post of the dc on the
previous row. Complete as you would for a regular dc.)
bpdc = Back post double crochet (yo and insert hook from the back to the front around the post of the dc on the
previous row. Complete as you would for a regular dc.)
sl st = slip stitch

Notes:

sl st do not count as a st in each round skip them.

gauge = 8 st for every 4
flower pattern is at the end of page and is optional for the hat.
measure the person the hat is intended for to ensure proper fit.
st count is stated at the end of each row
after round 2 do not dc into the same st as the fpdc.

Sizes:

older child teen adult (6+) = 21 circumference and 8 length unstretched

child (18-24 5 years )= 18 circumference and 7.5 length unstretched
baby = 13 circumference and 6 length unstretched
