PACS.BALANCE.

EXTRACT

Description: Purpose of this tool is to identify accounts that have balance discrepancy like below,

o Account balance not matching with ACCT.ACTIVITY or ECB or Statement entry

o ECB balance not matching with ACCT.ACTIVITY or Statement entry
o ACCT.ACTIVITY not matching with Statement entry
o Local currency account having entry with FCY amount
o Account having difference in ACCT.ACTIVITY value balance
o Accounts having incorrect cleared balance

In addition, this tool will also identify the possible AC mismatches existing in the system on the asset
types CREDIT/DEBIT/OFFCR/OFFDB/OFFSUSP/SUSPENS

Tool for primarily designed for financial/balance related issues on T24 accounts.

Installation steps:

** Apply this procedure on latest copy of Live and retain the environment for further analysis.

1. FTP the multithreaded routines of PACS.BALANCE.EXTRACT and the insert file to a local BP in
ASCII mode

2. Compile and catalog the routines. Ensure the routines are right being pointed by
jshow/tShow

3. Create a PGM.FILE for PACS.BALANCE.EXTRACT as below,

4. Create a BATCH record for XXX/PACS.BALANCE.EXTRACT as below

(XXX is the lead company mnemonic for which the scan is required)
 5. Create TSA.SERVICE record for XXX/PACS.BALANCE.EXTRACT with required number of
agents. Ensure it is in STOP status.

** Below steps (6 & 7) to be followed for first time run

6. Create the below four records in FILE.CONTROL application

7. Login to T24 application prompt and run the CREATE.FILES program to create the above four
tables in T24.
 8. Ensure the four files exists in the system
o FXXX.PACS.ACCOUNT.DETAILS
o FXXX.PACS.CONSOL.DETAILS
o FXXX.PACS.STMT.DETAILS
o FXXX.PACS.TEMP.DETAILS

9. Start the TSA.SERVICE > XXX/PACS.BALANCE.EXTRACT and run the service

10. Once the service completes, extract and send us the below details.

o Files PACS.AC.COMPARE.csv & PACS.AC.MISMATCH.csv from &SAVEDLISTS&

directory
o Latest RE.STAT.MISMATCH report from that environment
o Latest EB.SYSTEM.SUMMARY record
o Latest EB.JOURNAL.SUMMARY record
