In the reading, the professors at the cyberbullying research center talk about the basics:

what is cyberbullying, what the negative effects are and where does it occur. They also

talk about why it is becoming a bigger issue now with our advanced technology and how

there are obstacles in trying to prevent the bullying. Both parents and schools play a role

in helping out with cyberbullying, which is what the professors cover and talk about.

They also mention how law enforcement acts in preventing bulling by taking legal action.

This is useful by having law enforcement get involved to show just how serious of an

issue cyberbullying is.

In this video, the narrator Joshua Taylor talks about how clinicians can help cyberbully

victims. He gives them advice and tips in between different victims testimonies. One

victim talks about how cyber bullying led to her causing self-inflicted harm by cutting.

Each victim had different effects from cyberbullying and werent all the bullied the same

way. This video helps my readers see that every victim is different and is affected

differently whether it be mentally, physically or emotionally.

In this article, Nixon talks about how a victims mental health is affected by

cyberbullying. Nixon mentions suicide and depression as some of the main health issues.

This article also talks about mental health in bullies and behavior in by standers. This

article is beneficial to help raise awareness that cyberbullying affects the victims and

messes with their health negatively. Also to show that suicide and depression are the

most common effects of cyber bullying and should be more reason to prevent and end

bullying.

This is one of many anti-bullying organizations official website. This website provides a

No Bully System. The No Bully System is a process that is taught in programs at

school to prevent bullying in general. This organization helps kids and teachers learn how

to prevent bullying from happening and put an end to it. This helps the intended audience

know that they can learn how to prevent bullying in general and help decrease the high

number of bullied victims.
