2017-18 INDIANA PACERS GAME NOTES
The Lede:
Including a 17-point comeback win Wednesday against Chicago and a 19-point comeback victory Sunday against Denver, the Pacers have come back to win after trailing by at least 10 points four times this season.
Indiana has posted an 11-4 record over the last 15 games since seeing its record fall to 5-7 after a four-game losing streak from Nov. 3-8.
The Pacers have won their last five home games, including each of the first four games in its current six-game home stand. Indiana is now 10-4 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse after posting a 3-3 record after its first six home games this season.
The Pacers current six-game home stand is the teams longest since they hosted six straight games (Feb. 5-21, 2007) during the 2006-07 season.
Including each game of their four-game winning streak, the Pacers are now 14-2 this season when making 10 or more threes in a game. The Pacers rank second in the NBA in three-point percentage at .395 on the season.
The Pacers rank fifth in the NBA in assists with 23.3 per game. The Pacers also rank second in the NBA in team assists-per-turnover ratio (1.66), and fifth in the league while committing just 14.0 mistakes per game.
Indiana tied its season low with only 10 turnovers in Fridays win over Cleveland, and committed only 11 in Sundays overtime win over Denver. The Pacers have committed 16 or fewer turnovers in each of their last seven games, and 13
of their last 14 overall.
The Pacers forced a season-high 22 turnovers and finished with a 34-13 advantage in points off turnovers in Sundays overtime win over Denver.
Indiana is now fourth in the NBA this season in points off turnovers (19.5) and third in fastbreak points (15.3).
Victor Oladipo set a new career high with 47 points, including 32 in the second half and overtime, in Indianas win over Denver Sunday. He shot 15-for-28 from the field and 6-for-13 rom three-point range. He has tied his career high with
six threes in each of the last two games. He finished with a game-high 33 points and six three-pointers in Fridays win over Cleveland.
Monday, Oladipo was named Eastern Conference Player of the Week for the second time this season (Week 2). He joins James Harden as the only player in the NBA this season to be named Player of the Week more than once. He also
joins Paul George (twice in 2013-14) as the only player in franchise history to earn two Player of the Week honors multiple times in one season.
Oladipo has scored 20 or more points 19 times, and 30 or more five times, the most in his career since his rookie season in 2013-14. Oladipo did not score more than 29 points in any game last season.
Oladipo ranks 10th in the NBA in scoring, 15th in three-point percentage, sixth in steals and 30th in blocks while averaging career highs in each category.
Thaddeus Young has scored in double figures in 22 games this season, including six straight and 11 of the last 12.
Young is currently eighth in the NBA with 45 steals this season, and ranks 14th with an average of 1.67 steals per game.
Myles Turner has recorded at least one block in every appearance this season, and three or more blocks in 11 games. He leads the NBA with an average of 2.40 blocks per game despite missing seven games with a concussion early
this season.
Darren Collison has led the Pacers in assists in 19 games and is currently 12th in the NBA with 6.3 assists per game. Collison is now fifth in the NBA with a 4.21 assists-per-turnover ratio. He has committed only 39 turnovers over 30.9
minutes per game this season.
Collison posted his fifth double-double of the season with 10 points and a game-high 10 assists against New York, 12/4. He has now recorded more double-doubles than any season since his rookie season (14) with New Orleans in
2009-10.
After shooting just 20 percent (3-15) from three-point range over the first five games this season, Bojan Bogdanovic has shot 55-for-122 (.451) from long range while averaging 16.1 points over the last 22 games. He has scored in double
figures 18 times over that span. Bogdanovic currently ranks 24th in the NBA in three-point percentage this season while shooting a career-best 42.3 percent.
The Pacers are 9-2 when Bogdanovic makes three or more three-pointers in a game.
Stephenson struggled to begin the season, averaging 5.0 points on 25.0 percent shooting over the first eight games of the season. Since, he has finished in double figures eight times and is averaging 9.4 points and 5.7 rebounds per
game on 52.6 percent shooting from the field and 40.5 percent from three-point range.
Cory Joseph has scored in double figures in two of the past four games. He ranks 16th in the NBA this season while shooting a career-best 44.3 percent from three-point range.
Recent Games:
Indiana 126, Denver 116 (OT) December 10, 2017 Bankers Life Fieldhouse, Indianapolis, IN
Victor Oladipo scored a career-high 47 points and led the Pacers late-game charge as Indiana overcame an early 19-point deficit and put together a huge run late to put away the Denver Nuggets and earn a 126-116 win in their
first overtime contest of the season. The Nuggets made their first six field goal attempts of the game and shot 52 percent from the floor over the first half as they built their lead to as many as 19 points before taking a 66-59
lead into the locker room at halftime. Indiana battled back in the third, took its first lead of the night late in the period before taking a six-point advantage early in the fourth, but Denver appeared to have control of the game
as Indianapolis native Trey Lyles led a 21-7 run with 15 points in the fourth to give Denver a 111-103 lead with 3:51 left in regulation. After Gary Harris sank a three-pointer to put the Nuggets up eight, 114-106, with 2:54 left in the
fourth quarter, the Pacers scored the final eight points of regulation to force overtime, and the first 12 points of overtime to extend their run to 20-0. Denver missed 13 of its final 15 field goal attempts in the game, including 10
consecutive misses to end regulation and to begin overtime.

Indiana 106, Cleveland 102 December 8, 2017 Bankers Life Fieldhouse, Indianapolis, IN
Indiana rose to the occasion on the defensive end of the court as the Pacers limited the Cavaliers to 16 points and 32 percent shooting in the fourth quarter to end Clevelands 13-game winning streak with a 106-102 home victory.
Cleveland took at 63-57 advantage into the locker room at halftime after a hot-shooting first half in which both squads shot 50 percent from the floor. After Cleveland opened a 79-73 advantage with 5:18 remaining in the third
quarter, the Pacers went on a 20-6 run to build a seven-point advantage, 93-86, with 9:43 left in the game. The Cavaliers would close within one point late in the fourth as J.R. smith buried a corner three to close the deficit to
95-96 with under three minutes to play, but Bojan Bogdanovic answered with a three of his own, and Victor Oladipo buried one of his six triples on the night two possessions later to push Indianas lead back to six points. Despite
shooting just 5-for-23 from the field (.217) and 2-for-10 from three-point range in the fourth quarter, the Pacers outscored Cleveland 17-16 in the period. Cleveland finished with 39 points in the second half, its lowest-scoring half

Indiana 98, Chicago 96 December 6, 2017 Bankers Life Fieldhouse, Indianapolis, IN
After trailing the entire night, Victor Oladipo sank a pullup three-pointer with 31.1 seconds remaining as the Pacers forced two stops to earn a 98-96 comeback victory over the Chicago Bulls. After Chicago shot 52 percent from
the field over the first three quarters, the Pacers held to the Bulls to 5-for-18 shooting (27.8 percent) from the field and 1-for-6 from three-point range in the fourth. The Pacers outscored the Bulls 13-2 over the games final 4:52.
Chicago missed six of its last seven shots with three turnovers over that span. After Oladipo sank the three to give Indiana a 97-96 lead, he forced Kris Dunn into a long two-pointer that fell off the mark. Oladipo then split a pair
of free throw to push the lead to two points, and the Pacers forced rookie Lauri Markkanen into an off-balance three attempt for the win.
Oladipo led all scorers with 27 points to go with eight rebounds and three assists. Bojan Bogdanovic followed with 17 points. Myles Turner scored 11 points, grabbed seven rebounds, tied his career high with six assists and

HICKORY NIGHTS 2017-18

Continuing a first-of-its-kind partnership, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios (MGM) and the Indiana Pacers will bring one of the all-time great underdog stories, Hoosiers, to the NBA hardwood . For the third
season, the Pacers will wear Hickory uniforms inspired by the movie, and Bankers Life Fieldhouse will be transformed for four games this season to reflect the elements that helped make Hoosiers one of the
most popular sports movies of all time.
The Pacers will wear new white Nike Hickory jerseys on the four Hickory Nights at Bankers Life Fieldhouse, as well as during road games against the Los Angeles Lakers (Jan. 19), Boston Celtics (March 11),
Philadelphia 76ers (March 13) and the Los Angeles Clippers (April 1). The white Hickory uniform, the Nike Classic Edition, is a modern take on the white uniforms of Hickory High as worn in the 1987 classic.
The Hickory Nights, opponents and those to be honored are as follows:

ST. VINCENT CENTER

In August of 2017, Pacers Sports & Entertainment and St. Vincent unveiled the new St. Vincent Center, the Pacers training facility and medical office building that will provide local
residents and workers improved access to high-quality care. Groundbreaking took place in December of 2015.
The 130,000 square-foot St. Vincent Center was privately financed by PS&E and is located on Delaware Street immediately east of Bankers Life Fieldhouse and adjacent to the Virginia
Avenue Parking Garage. It is connected to Bankers Life Fieldhouse via a tunnel on the event level.
The St. Vincent Center houses twoNBA-regulation practice courts named in honor of franchise icons Bobby Slick Leonard and Donnie Walsh, as well as the most modern training and
medical facilities required by professional sports teams. Pacers basketball staff and scouting offices also moved to the Center.
The St. Vincent Center is the 20th stand-alone training facility built by an NBA team since 1999. Many of those facilities have partnered with local health organizations.
Most practices and select shootarounds on the morning of home games will be held at the St. Vincent Center. For more information, please contact the Pacers Media Relations
department.
WE GROW BASKETBALL HERE
In August, the Pacers officially unveiled the first phase of a brand refresh, built around the slogan We Grow Basketball Here highlighted by the unveiling of new uniforms, a new playing
court, and two new logos a state icon and seal for basketball in Indiana.

Indiana Pacers Head Coach
NATE McMILLAN
14th Season as an NBA Head Coach Second Season with Indiana
Overall Record: 536-503 (.516) Record with Indiana: 58-51 (.532)
Playoff Record: 14-24 (.368) Playoff Record with Indiana: 0-4 (.000)
Nate McMillan enters his second season as the Pacers head coach after three years as the teams Associate Head Coach under Frank
Vogel. His background, former player, head coach and assistant coach in the NBA, as well as an assistant with USA Basketball, makes
him very well qualified for this job.
The 53-year-old (8/3/64) McMillan has a vast basketball background as a player and a coach. After playing collegiately at North
Carolina State, McMillan was drafted by Seattle (30th overall) in the 1986 NBA Draft. He played his entire 12-year career with the Sonics
and had his number (10) retired. He is second in franchise history in assists and steals and ranks in the top 10 in eight other categories.
He was named to the NBAs All-Defensive team twice (1994 and 95) and led the league in steals in the 1994-95 season with 2.96 per
game. In his 12 seasons with the Sonics, they reached the playoffs 11 times.
After his playing days, McMillan was a Seattle assistant coach for two years and became the interim coach in 2000. He remained the Sonics coach until 2005 and then became
Portlands head coach until he was let go in March 2012. In 2008-09, he led the Trail Blazers to 54-28 record, sixth-best record in franchise history and helped the Trail Blazers reach the
playoffs in three of his six seasons. McMillan compiled a 458-429 (.516) record as a head coach for both teams. He also served as an assistant coach for the U.S. National Team where he
won gold medals in the 2006 FIBA World Championships, the 2008 Beijing Olympics and the 2012 London Olympics.
While many believe McMillans strength as a player, defense, carried over to his coaching, McMillan says, Ive been labeled a defensive guy. Yeah, I played defense, but you have to
be able to play both sides of the ball, and if you expect your players to be two-way guys, you better be able to coach both ways. I coach both ways.
And since his first time around as a coach, McMillan has done what all good coaches have done: go to school.
Ive learned a lot, he said. My approach is a little different than it was in 2005. Things have changed. The players have changed. How you coach these players has changed. The
biggest thing is being able to adapt. Theres a lot of old school in me. I wont lose all of that, but I understand you have to adapt to this generation of players as far as how you communicate
with them, prepare them.
McMillan was also inducted into the National Junior College Basketball Hall of Fame in 2001 after playing at Chowan College before transferring to North Carolina State.
He and his wife, Michelle, have two children, Jamelle and Brittany. Jamelle is now an assistant coach for the New Orleans Pelicans.
