Allahumma Inni Asaluka Min Fazlik

Both Shaykh Tusi and Sayyid ibn-Tawus have recommended saying this supplication throughout the days of the month :

allahumma inni asaluka min fadhlika bi-

O Allah: I beseech You to grant me from the best of
Your favors; afdhalihi

and all Your favors are excellent. wa kullu fadhlika fadhilun

O Allah: I beseech You in the name of Your whole
favor.
allahumma inni asaluka bifadhlika kullihi . !
allahumma inni asaluka min rizqika bi-
O Allah: I beseech You to grant me from the most
widespread of Your sustenanc e; a`ammhi %
and all Your sustenance is widespread. wa kullu rizqika `ammun %
O Allah: I beseech You in the name of Your whole
sustenanc e.
allahumma inni asaluka birizqika kullihi .
allahumma inni asaluka min `ataika bi-
O Allah: I beseech You to grant me from the most
wholesome of Your bestowal; ahnaihi * ,
and Your entire bestowal is wholesome. wa kullu `ataika hani 01,
O Allah: I beseech You in the name of Your entire
bestowal.
allahumma inni asaluka bi`ataika kullihi . !
allahumma inni asaluka min khayrika bi-
O Allah: I beseech You to grant me from Your most
instant welfare; a`jalihi 5 6
and Your entire welfare is instant. wa kullu khayrika `ajilun 5 6
O Allah: I beseech You in the name of Your entire
welfare.
allahumma inni asaluka bikhayrika kullihi . 5 6
allahumma inni asaluka min ihsanika bi-
O Allah: I beseech You to grant me from You most
excellent benevolence; ahsanihi

and Your entire benevolenc e is excellent.

wa kullu ihsanika hasanun

O Allah: I beseech You in the name of Your entire

benevolenc e.
allahumma inni asaluka biihsanika kullihi .

O Allah: I beseech You in the name of all that through allahumma inni asaluka bima tujibuny bihi

Your trustee, Your confidant one among all Your

the pious and the immaculate;

Your Person and concealed against Your beings; linafsika wa hajabtahum `an khalqika

Your messages;

and upon (Archangels) Gabriel, Mic hael, Israfil, and wa `ala jabraila wa mikaila wa israfila wa

the Spirit of Faith, wal-rruhi alamini >6
and the Favorite Bearers of Your Throne; wa hamalati `arshika almuqarrbina >6 g h

and upon the two angels who watch over me wa `ala almalakayni alhafiayni `alayya H > 6 > 6 GH
blessings that You desire that the inhabitants of the bilSSlati allaty tuhibb an yuSalliya biha

give to a Prophet on behalf of his nation.
wajzihi khayra ma jazayta nabiyyan `an

O Allah: (please do) give Muhammadpeace of Allah
be upon him and his Familyan additional proximity
allahumma wa a`ti muhammadan Salla allahu GWH

`alayhi wa alihi ma`a kulli zulfatin zulfatan

with eac h proximity that You decide for him;

and an additional subtle means with eac h means that

You decide for him;
wa ma`a kulli wasilatin wasilatan
and an additional merit with eac h merit that You
decide for him;
wa ma`a kulli fadhilatin fadhilatan
and an additional honor with each honor that You
decide for him;

on the Resurrec tion Day, the best of all that which
tu`ty muhammadan wa alahu yawma
You have given to any of Your creatures from the
alqiyamati afdhala ma a`tayta ahadan mina al-
past and the c oming generations. awwalina wal-akhirina

O Allah: (please do) choose for Muhammadpeace of
Allah be upon him and his Familythe nearest position
allahumma waj`al muhammadan Salla allahu
`alayhi wa alihi adna almursalina minka

vicinity;
wa afsahahum fi aljannati `indaka manzilan ^
and the most effective means to You. wa aqrabahum ilayka wasilatan

the chief mediator, wa awwala mushaff`in

the first speaker, wa awwala qailin

the most suc cessful petitioner. wa anjaha sailin

And (please do) send him the Praiseworthy Standing wab`athhu almaqama almahmuda alladhy

And I do beseech You to bless Muhammad and the

to respond to my plea, wa tujiba da`wati
to overlook my sins, wa tatajawaza `an khatiati 0l
to excuse my wrongdoings, wa taSfaha `an ulmi
to give suc cess to my prayer, wa tunjiha talibati 0l
to settle my needs, wa taqdhiya hajati

to fulfill Your promise to me, wa tunjiza li ma wa`adtani 01
to let off my offense, wa tuqila `athrati 5
to forgive my sins, wa taghfira dhunubi
to pardon my evildoings, wa ta`fwa `an jurmi
to accept me and not to reject me, wa tuqbila `alayya wa la tu`ridha `anni 01 H
to have mercy upon me and not to punish me, wa tarhamany wa la tu`adhdhibani 01 01
to grant me good health and not to afflic t me, wa tu`afiyany wa la tabtaliyani 01 Q 01
to grant me from the nicest and most extensive wa tarzuqany mina alrrzqi atiyabahu wa

sustenanc e and not to deprive me (of Your
sustenanc e). awsa`ahu wa la tahrimani

O my Lord: (please do) help me settle my debts; ya rabbi waqdhi `anni dayni 01 01
and relieve me of my burdens; wa dha` `anni wizri 01
and do not impose on me that which I have not the
strength to bear.
wa la tuhammilny ma la taqata li bihi 01
O my Master: and (please do) include me with every ya mawlaya wa adkhilny fi kull khayrin 56 ^ 01
good item that You have chosen from Muhammad and adkhalta fihi muhammadan wa ala
the Household of Muhammad muhammadin

and take me out of any evil from which You have wa akhrijny min kulli suin akhrajta minhu u 01 u
saved Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad muhammadan wa ala muhammadin Salawatuka
Your blessings be upon him and them.

allahumma inni asaluka qalilan min
kathirin 56
in the midst of my many needs for which I entirely depend on
You,
ma`a hajatin by ilayhi `aimatin
and You, since eternity, are able to do without them, wa ghinaka `anhu qadimun

but for me it is titanic wa huwa `indy kathirun 5 6 ,
and for You it is very easy and simple. wa huwa `alayka sahlun yasirun 5 6j
