Hi folks, this blog we will be looking at the di erent types of ngerprint and assessing their palmistry
signi cance.

Fingerprints
These are not only of interest to detectives examining evidence at a scene of a crime but are also of vital
importance in palmistry. Although each set of ngerprints is unique to a particular hand (and incidentally
even to each nger) they can be classi ed into only 6 types.

The W horl

ngerprint type is associated with individuals who are highly independent- both of spirit and mind. They
are original thinkers who need a lot of freedom and personal space. Hence much of the time they march
to the beat of their own drum.

Generally talented and capable, a lot of successful business people are

whorls. However it can be lonely at the top and this is certainly true for
this type. Inclined to get caught up in their own thoughts and ideas,
instead of looking out towards the world they tend to look in. For this
reason, they often struggle to relate to others which can make them feel
alienated and very alone. In turn because of their intense natures and
unique take on things, others rarely get them and they can come across
as a bit odd or even eccentric.

A further complication is that whorls tend to be sticklers for small details so often miss the bigger picture.
Moreover, xed on their own perception of what is right and preferring to stay with the tried and tested
they can be too slow to adapt and change.

In addition to the above, where on the hand the whorl is found is also of signi cance.

When on the thumb, these subjects are highly adventurous with better than average staying power. They
neither need nor seek the approval of others and pride themselves on the ability to successfully complete
projects on their own.

When on Jupiter, these folk are generally quizzical and anarchistic. They place great value on their
individualism and go all out to ensure everyone knows it.

When on Saturn, these people are liable have unusual interests and hobbies. This can also be true of their
job. Moreover, disliking authority and routine they are more likely than not to be self-employed.

When on Apollo, this denotes people with individual yet excellent sense of style. They have a great eye
for colour and detail so their homes are generally tastefully furnished and decorated. In respect of art or
music they are unlikely to follow the crowd.

When on Mercury, this can be a sign of psychic ability and spiritual awareness.

The Ulnar Loop

ngerprint and as such, will be evident somewhere on most hands.
However, where the loop dominates it indicates individuals who are
people orientated, very social and fun to be around. They like to be
involved inthings and to know whats going on. Their charm and ready
wit means that they can easily adapt to most social situations.

Being associated with Mercury, this type is renowned for mental

versatility. They think at lightening speed and are hence good at
grasping even the most complex of concepts. Moreover, they tend to be keen learners but having a low
boredom threshold, once a subject is mastered they quickly lose interest. When this happens they feel
compelled to move on to whatever challenge lies next. For that reason they In addition, these folk change

their mind and ideology like the wind so they can be di cult to keep up with. Unlike whorl, no special
signi cance is given to what ngers these loops are on.

Radial Loop

the ulna loop. Whereas the loops of the latter point away from the thumb,
the loops of the radial type point towards it. This is a telling indication of
what this ngerprint type is all about. I like to think of these loops as
aerials. And what do aerials do? They receive. Hence, these subjects are
the most receptive of the types to moods, surroundings and atmospheres.
Be they bad or good, they pick up on vibes and instinctively know how
others are feeling.

Moreover, because the loops radiate out, instead of attention being

centred on self, it goes out to others. Hence these folk are generally
caring, kind and considerate.

However, being this way can have many drawbacks. Because the radial loops sole interest is the happiness
of others, they can easily lose sight of their own needs and identity. Moreover, being so amenable, their
good natures are wide open to abuse.

This type of loop is generally found exclusively on Jupiter. Again, on the rare occasion it s present on
Saturn or Mercury, it adds a further dimension to the personality.

When on Saturn, this belies an individual with the ability to e ortlessly identify with other cultures and
religions. For that reason, they are the most likely to be attracted to bohemian lifestyles and sects.

When on Mercury, these people will love to play host and entertain.

The Arch

ngerprint looks like a series of several arches each built one above the
other. These people are solid, dependable and reliable. And extremely
loyal. In terms of outlook, these folk are always practical making them
savers and builders for the future. They like material things but are
prepared to plan, work and sacri ce for however long it takes in order
to achieve them.

The biggest aw in the personality of arch subjects is that they show

reluctance to express themselves. Grudges and worries are either buried deep or constantly fretted upon
internally. If not addressed and dealt with, these can lead to bad health later in life.

As with the whorl, on which ngers arches are found is also in itself, important.

When on the thumb, these people are generally physically strong and mentally stable. However they can
be overly stubborn.

When on Jupiter, although reliable, these folk can become too set in their ways

When on Saturn, these individuals tend to be conventional, respect tradition and hold strong family values.
They do not like uncertainty and favour routine.

The Tented Arch

occurs only on Jupiter and presents as a tri-radius con guration within
the arch. This type is the complete counterpart to the ordinary arch.
Whereas arched people are meticulous. careful planners, tented arch
folk tend resent conformity so throw caution to the wind. They are
thrill-seeking adventurers who are highly motivated and love nothing
better than change. Living with them is like residing in the eye of a
tornado.

Theyre usually intelligent and good learners with inquisitive minds. But also impulsive. As soon as they
master something they grow restless and will quickly move on to whatever challenge lures them next.

Alas they can also be like this with people. The ultimate social butter y, as soon as they grow bored of
present company they will be o to pastures new.

The Composite

this is a fascinating print. Basically, its centre consists of
two half-whorls facing in opposite directions. And the way
the print presents certainly describes the mentality of the
individuals who possess it. They tend to be intelligent,
impartial folk who can always see both sides of any given
situation or argument. For this reason, they make excellent
arbitrators, lawyers and judges.

On a positive note, having this duality in thought means composites are always fair in their assessment.
However, because they struggle to come down fully one way or the other, they can prevaricate too long
when facing important decisions.

In addition, as their print suggests, life is likely to be a never ending cycle of opposing extremes. Things
will either be terribly good or terribly bad. Cash will be plentiful one minute and in short supply the next.

Therefore, to maximise contentment, composites should nd balance in life wherever this is possible. For
example, if they have a sedentary job, they should counter this with an exciting physical hobby.

When it comes to the social aspect, because they lack preference and bias, composites tend to have friends
from many di erent cultures and walks of life.
