Al-shabaab. The group has aimed at the somali military and even innocent civilians, with a goal to
overthrow the Somali government. These terrorists are very religious and are trying to change modern
society and beliefs of the Somali people into strict ways of life, as how it used to be in the past. Using a
war tactic known as guerilla warfare, the terrorists take over small towns, one by one, in attempt to gain

better place. As more people and military officials get involved, the more active their attacks will be. Jason
Burke stated Al-shabaab earlier this year vowed to increase its attacks after both the Trump
administration and Somalia's recently elected president announced new military efforts against the group.

trying to overthrow the Somali government, this is not the way to solve their problem, and is just
terrorizing the territory of somalia, not improving anything about it. This group needs to be put to a stop
