This descriptive study assessed the problem regarding

THE IMPACT OF THE AUDIOVISUAL AIDS (MICROSOFT

PRESENTATION) ON THE TEACHING LEARNING PROCESS SENIOR HIGH

SCHOOL STUDENTS OF COLLEGE FOR RESEARCH AND TECHNOLOGY OF

CABANATUAN CITY, NUEVA ECIJA ACADEMIC YEAR 2016-2017.

The main sources of data came primarily from the

responses of a total of 75 Senior High School Students from

College for Research and Technology of Cabanatuan.

Findings from the study revealed that the majority of

Senior High School students are 17 years old. The leading

course in CRT Senior High School Cabanatuan was ICT and

majority of the students are originated from Urban. Age of

the respondents who viewed Microsoft Power Point

Presentation has no significant relationship to their

Academic Performance. Students Attitudes and Behavior

during the presentation of Power Point has a significant

relationship in their Academic Performance. Teachers

Behavior and Technique in Teaching with the use of

Microsoft Power Point Presentation has a significant

relationship with Academic Performance of the students.

The study concludes that (1.) Majority of Senior High

School Students from College for Research and Technology of

Cabanatuan are aged 17 years old. The leading course in the

school was Information Communication Technology (ICT) and

majority of the students are from Urban. Therefore, we

conclude that students take up ICT in CRT Cabanatuan

because of its Excellency in Computer industry. (2.) The

technology and education are improving very fast, and

taking into a count that teachers are more critical than

technological is very important to discover new abilities

in order to create students better thinkers. (3.) Senior

High School Students preferred both the Traditional Method

such as Chalk/White Board Method and the Modern Method such

as Audio Visual Method like Microsoft Power Point

Presentation. (4.) Microsoft Power Point Presentation helps

students to take better notes. Respondents believed that

Presentations are interesting, it uses the class time

efficiently, and their teacher is always effective even it

uses the Traditional Method and Modern Method. (5.) Age of

the respondents who viewed Microsoft Power Point

Presentation has no significant relationship to their

Academic Performance. (6.) Students Attitudes and Behavior

during the presentation of Power Point has a significant

relationship in their Academic Performance. (7.) Teachers

Behavior and Technique in Teaching with the use of

Microsoft Power Point Presentation has a significant

relationship with Academic Performance of the students.

This present study thereby recommends that (1.) The

results of this study may be shared with schools,

organizations, particularly educational institutions to

enhance their curriculum. (2.) Teachers must enhance

their knowledge about using the Microsoft Power Point

Presentation. (3.) The use of different audiovisual

material such as Microsoft Power Point Presentation in

class must be focus in the development of the multiple

intelligences because the audiovisual aids will help a

classroom to become active. (4.) The teachers must adapt

every change in the technology; therefore students will be

more interested and focus on lessons. (5.) Teachers may

undergo seminars about the application of technology in the

classroom. (6.) Teachers must use educational videos

with Microsoft Power Point Presentations. (7.) Students

must observe their attitudes and behavior in the classroom.

(8.) Teachers must practice good techniques and observe

their behavior when teaching.
