2. In seat when bell rings.
We will begin each class with a warm-up assignment. There will be many seating arrangements
throughout the year near many different people and you are expected to be in your current
seat.
3. Come prepared to learn.
Have a cleared desk with a pencil or pen in hand beginning the warm up at the start of class.
Please bring all materials needed for class each day and have them readily available.
4. No offensive language.
We will be kind and respectful in our words and we will listen courteously when others speak.
5. Follow directions when given.
Please give your attention when it is asked for, listen and follow directions the first time they are
given and refer to the white board or projector for visual directions/steps.

Homework & Late Work

All assignments are due in class on the dates assigned. Assignments turned in late will lose 20%. It is
your responsibility to check the past work bin for the day that you were absent.

Assignments accepted during school hours, not via email. Schedule make-up tests or extra help during
lunch or after school. If you need an extension, ask ahead of time.

Homework or missing work will be turned into the turn in bin by the door before class begins. Graded
work will be returned via the filing folder with your name on it.

Parents:
Be sure to check your childs agenda for homework and project assignments. Homework will be
written in on Mondays for the week. Also, look for my initials to ensure that the assignments
have been recorded correctly.
If your child is absent, it is his/her responsibility to make up the classwork and homework that
was assigned. A While You Were Out Chart is hanging in the front of the class. Your child will
need to get the materials that were missed. This will be your childs responsibility. Students
have two days after the absence to turn their work in. Again, this will be your childs
responsibility.

I will also have master copies of class notes in the class website. If the notes were misplaced or lost,
your child can copy the notes on regular notebook paper and then return them to the folder. If your
child was absent on the day the notes were handed out, then they can receive the same handout the
other students received and just copy the new information.
