Everyman in his humour

 It deals with the follies and the humour
of mankind.

BACKGROUND OF VOLPONE:
 He wrote this comedy during the
Renaissance Elizabethan literary
period.
 It was written two years after the
beginning of the reign of King James
I.
 This play showed his commitment to
classical dramatic models and tales.
