An experience of Mythic proportions
An AT&T store is nothing short of telecommunications nirvana. But it does pose a unique challenge: how do you make
a new phone stand out in a phone-saturated environment?
Sapient, Samsung Telecommunications, and Derse developed a unique, in-store experience to promote the new
Samsung Mythic. We combined two large LCD screens to create a demo kiosk in the shape of the new phone. The
infrared touch screen allowed customers to explore the key features of the phone, resulting in extraordinary in-store
buzz. Feedback from store employees credited the kiosk’s ability to attract, entertain, and engage customers as a big
reason for the successful introduction of the new Samsung Mythic.
