Safety Meeting to be held prior to start of TCP run, Drilling personnel and Service Company
Personnel to advice of planned operations etc.
Safety Tool Box meetings to be held prior to any operation pertaining to lifting of equipment,
running string etc and should include Rig Crew and TCP specialist.
Safety tool box meeting are to be held at each crew handover and documented
Risk Assessment and JSA, documents should be developed/used in conjunction with all TCP
operations.
TCP Specialist’s will be present and supervise at all times the lifting of TCP BHA equipment.
Make up torques on rig floor have to be supervised by TCP Specialist who will advise Driller
and crew.
Extreme care to be taken during all lifting operations and making up tools.
The measurement between top of the gun and Radioactive marker is to be carefully
measured and allowing for packer to set.
All necessary crossovers, circulating subs and IBOPs (without thread protectors), including
backups must be available on the rig floor ready for use.
Ensure that the correct slips and elevators are available and clearly marked.
Ensure all tubing, pup joints, tools and cross overs are drifted and measured on the rig (total
number of joints on board is to be recorded).
Air operated elevators must not be used whilst picking up the bottom hole assembly or for
any other minor lifts.
All equipment to be lifted on to the rig floor must be correctly stripped and equipped with
certified slings and tag lines attached.
The TCP perforating specialist must be present and personally supervise all operations
involving handling of perforating equipment. The specialist shall also hold a safety briefing
with the rig crew before starting to make up the guns.
Safety Tool Box Meetings to be held prior to any operation and documented.
The running speed should be restricted to approximately 60 sec per joint.
Ensure that all tools are drifted. Drift tools prior to picking up.
Service Company must have available detailed sketches of all equipment run below the
rotary table in case fishing operations are required.
Ensure that packer is not set across a casing collar.
M/U TCP BHA referring to Halliburton tool string schematic and pick up and make up
procedures in attachment.
46- L/D the excess tubing joints and do the space out calculation required.
47-Make up the tubing hanger with the space out PUP Jts required to the 3 ½” running tool
in the top of hanger and torque connection to thread manufacture’s minimum make up
torque.
48-Open THS side outlets and slowly lower the tubing hanger in the THS and complete
land it, be sure that at this step the guns are positioned against the required perforation
interval.
49-Check that the tubing hanger has fully landed by measuring the distance from DF to
THF. Observe paint mark via SOV.
50- Pull the string 5 FT to make the expansion joint semi closed after setting PHL packer.
51-Hold safety meeting to discuss the R/U and the operations of S/L.
52-R/U Slick line with test plug and set inside X-Nipple.
53-Pressure tests the string with 3000 psi for 15 minutes.
54-POOH with slick line and test plug and R/D.
55-S/L RIH and retrieve 2.813” PXX- Plug (Lock mandrel and prong), POOH.
56-S/L, RIH W/ 2.56" Check Valve and set same at GF-Nipple below the Packer,
POOH and L/D S/L.
57-Pressure up the tubing string to 500 psi/10 min and then increase gradually to
3000 psi for 15 min’s to set Packer. (Follow Hall. Engineer instructions)
Note:
Annulus side to be kept open in all TBG. Pressure tests to monitor annulus for return.
Notes:
Time delay for the firing head is about 15 minutes.
Slick line to be ready in case required to RIH and fishing the firing bar.
Call Cairo office (Petrozenima & Halliburton) in case of we are going to fish
the bar.
88- If there is no indication of firing, R/U Slick line with PCE and pressure test same
to 3000 psi for 15 min against X-mass tree valves.
89- S/L, RIH with 1.25" Bar fishing tool (15/16” Sucker Rod thread) with the
recommended slick line too
l string and RIH to fish the bar.
90- If the bar depth is the mechanical firing head depth and there is no indication for
firing on the end of
the bar.
91- Wait for firing indication.
92- If succeeded to fire the guns mechanically, go to next step. If failed consult with
Cairo office for the contingency plan.
93- Monitor the well for 30 minutes.
94- R/U Slick line with PCE and pressure test same to CITHP for 15 min.
95- S/L, RIH with 2.25” shifting tool and work on mechanical gun release to release
the guns and drop it in.
rate hole. Continue RIH to below the bottom shot and confirm release of the
guns.
96- Muzhil-8 Sampling and Injectivity test will follow.
Notes:
Annulus side to be kept open in all TBG. Pressure tests to monitor annulus for return.
One person should be dedicated to monitor the annulus returns at all steps while
pumping down the tubing.
Ensure that the tubing is full prior to test the string.
measure the distance from rig RKB to THAF, All measurements should be referenced to
