About Kurwa

Kurwa is a medium sized village located in jungle kaudiya block of Gorakhpur district. It is situated near
river Rapti and is around 18-19 km away from Gorakhpur district and 9 km from jungle kaudiya. The
village is surrounded by Chargawan Tehsil towards East , Pali Tehsil towards west , Sahjanwa Tehsil
towards South , Gorakhpur Tehsil towards South .People in this village who cultivate vegetable crops are
limited to 5-6 household and others only produce vegetable crop for their own consumption. Also people
of this village are not aware of the benefits of vegetable crops and they do not want to give extra effort for
cultivation of these crops.
