NH-54 in Assam. Reg. Release of Advance payment for the IPC No.69, July & August 2017,
Package AS-24(Bal): AS-2 Project.

The Construction Contractor M/s NKC Projects Pvt. Ltd. has submitted IPA No.68 for the work executed
during the month of July & August 2017 vide Letter No. (1) NKC/ASSAM/AS-24/PLNG/1902, Dt. 31
August 2017 as per Contract Agreement Vol. (1/4), Clause No. 60.1 of GCC & Clause No.60
Conditions 0f Particular Application Part-II (CoPA).
After verification of this bill by the RE Office, further the IPC has been prepared & forwarded to
the TL office vide Letter No. (2). SMEC/CS IIB/AS-24/RE/IM/xxx , Dt. 22 September 2017. After
making necessary changes / corrections to the RE’s submission & after incorporating all the
changes / corrections, has been finalized in the IPC No.69 pursuant to Clause No.60.1 of GCC &
Clause No.60 Conditions of Particular Application Part-II (CoPA) for a work done amount of
Rs.3,92,03,023.00.
This assessment includes in the IPC No.69 for work done & the salient features of the bill are as
mentioned below:
1. The assessed value of permanent works done is Rs. 1,65,58,122 /-
2. The assessed value of BOQ varied works done is Rs. 1,79,16,949/-
3. The assessed value of Non-BOQ varied works done is Rs. 47,27,952/-
4. The escalation for the work done comes to Rs. 78,58,424/-
5. Gross value of IPC comes to Rs. 4,70,61,447/-
6. Hold for Non submission of Royalty papers is Rs. 4,833/-

7. Release hold amount for Road Signage work is Rs. 10,00,000/-
8. Other statutory deduction and recovery are shown in the financial abstract.

The IPC No.69 submitted by Construction Contractor M/s NKC Projects Pvt. Ltd. for the period 1
July to 31 August 2017 has been checked & found satisfactory.
The certification is for the Item of works executed in July & August 2017 for major items viz.
Earthwork, WMM, Protection & Traffic Signs, Markings and other Road Appurtenances.

The gross amount payable to the contractor after recoveries and other statutory deductions
comes to Rs.4,42,91,699.00.

Hence the CSC recommends yourself for releasing Balance amount payable to the Construction
Contractor M/s NKC Projects Pvt. Ltd. after adjustment of advance payment comes to
Rs.1,13,95,042.00 (Rupees One Crore Thirteen Lakh Ninety five Thousand and Forty Two only)
for pass & payment.

Therefore this payment may be released after verifying the submitted IPA No. 69 by the
Construction Contractor M/s NKC Projects Pvt. Ltd for the period 1 July to 31 August 2017 after
further scrutiny of this bill from the PIU-Nagaon.
