- Contribute to the design & implementation of Flux, Groupon's machine learning platform. The platform
provides life cycle management for models and experiments via RESTful API, and model training &
prediction execution in batch, streaming, and real-time modes. It streamlines machine learning workflow
including data fetch & cleaning, feature engineering, and model training & prediction & evaluation. The
RESTful API is built with Dropwizard. Execution engines include Apache Spark and custom real time
service. Model engines include R, Cognitive Foundry (a Java library), and H2O. Paper accepted to IEEE Big
Data '17 (lead writer).
- Contribute to the design & implementation of QED, Groupon's data ETL management and curated feature
catalog system. QED defines & ETL's features for models from Hadoop & Teradata and provides bulk and

 real-time access via REST API. Built with Clojure. Paper published in IEEE Big Data '16 (lead writer):

- Productionize, monitor, evaluate, and maintain machine learning models (random forest, gradient boosting
