LINDA EDER
Now, after starring in the Broadway smash, Jekyll & Hyde, selling out
concert halls around the country to stunning reviews, and recording
six solos records of her own, Linda Eder is at the peak of her career.
Her magnificent three-octave voice and dynamic delivery is sometimes
called Streisand-esque, yet it is uniquely her own sound. She is soon
going into rehearsals for a new Broadway play. It is a rare treat for the
Celebrity Series audience to have Linda Eder on our season.

HAL HOLBROOK
IN MARK TWAIN TONIGHT
The humor and sardonic wit of
Mark Twain remains relevant and
funny today through the magnificent
portrayal of Twain by movie/TV
super-star Holbrook. Holbrook won
a Tony Award for his Broadway run
of the show in 1966 followed by the
1997 CBS TV version and literally
hundreds of shows in cities large
and small since then. Mr.
Holbrook’s material is uproarious
and his ability to hold an audience
by acting is brilliant.
