MOOD
This show presents a 1940s musical revue
featuring the In The Mood singers and
dancers with the sensational String of
Pearls big band orchestra. The music and
arrangements of World War II and the
40’s hits are as authentic as it gets. This
was a time when all America was listening
and dancing to the same kind of music.

Andrew Lloyd Webber’s show
revolutionized musical theater. It
became the longest running musical on
Broadway as well as on the British
stage. This full-scale Broadway
production about the once a year
gathering of the Jellicle cats includes
stunning costumes, a company of
outstanding singers and dancers and
lush orchestrations. It is a marvelous
visual experience. A whole new
generation of children will love this
show as much as the adults.

in this all-new, full-length, delightful musical production!

Caillou is considered a best friend by millions of preschoolers nationwide. The


popular television series consistently ranks among the top five preschool shows in
the United States, and was named “one of the best new preschool series to come
along in years” by Child Magazine. Caillou has won the hearts of children, parents
and caregivers with his endearing adventures and gentle life lessons.

TONY DANZA
One of America’s most popular
performers, Tony Danza has
starred on television’s most
beloved and long running series.
He most recently appeared on
CBS’s dramatic series “Family
Law” and received an Emmy
nomination for his role on the
award-winning series “The
Practice.” He has appeared in
Disney/ABC television movies and
is now a respected producer. He
debuted his song and dance show
in 1995 in Atlantic City and has
since appeared in top Vegas and
New York clubs. This is the show
he brings to Orr Auditorium.

LEAHY
This group of nine brothers
and sisters gained attention
accompanying Shania
Twain on a 180 show tour
impressing thousands
perhaps millions of potential
fans around the world.
They all play instruments,
sing and step dance. They feature Celtic music mostly with a touch of folk,
rock, pop, country and even classical. The band’s sound is big, fast and
exuberant featuring solo and group step dancing. They deliver a never to
be forgotten audience experience.

LINDA EDER
Now, after starring in the Broadway smash, Jekyll & Hyde, selling out
concert halls around the country to stunning reviews, and recording
six solos records of her own, Linda Eder is at the peak of her career.
Her magnificent three-octave voice and dynamic delivery is sometimes
called Streisand-esque, yet it is uniquely her own sound. She is soon
going into rehearsals for a new Broadway play. It is a rare treat for the
Celebrity Series audience to have Linda Eder on our season.

DON McLEAN
CHRISTMAS SHOW
In the 30th year of his recording career, Don McLean
remains among the most popular singer-songwriters in pop
music history. This year will mark the 30th anniversary of
his “American Pie,” called the number one popular song of
the millennium. Some of his songs, like “Crying,” “And I
Love You So,” “Starry Night,” and “Castles in the
Air” have been world-wide hits. His nearly 30
albums and his ceaseless touring have kept him
current and timely. This show will feature
many of his great hits and holiday music.

HAL HOLBROOK
IN MARK TWAIN TONIGHT
The humor and sardonic wit of
Mark Twain remains relevant and
funny today through the magnificent
portrayal of Twain by movie/TV
super-star Holbrook. Holbrook won
a Tony Award for his Broadway run
of the show in 1966 followed by the
1997 CBS TV version and literally
hundreds of shows in cities large
and small since then. Mr.
Holbrook’s material is uproarious
and his ability to hold an audience
by acting is brilliant.

All Celebrity Series events* begin at 8:00 pm
in Orr Auditorium. Doors open at 7:30 pm.
Latecomers will not be seated until the first
suitable pause in the performance. Cameras
and/or recording devices are prohibited in the
auditorium. All sales are final; no refunds or
exchanges. Dates, times and attractions are
firm, but subject to change, cancellation, or
substitution with proper notice.
