REASONING ABILITY OF JIGSAW MAT
Mathematics in schools aim to teach students about logical thinking, analytical,
systematic, critical and creative and have the ability to work. This means that the learning of mathematics should be to improve the ability of mathematical reasoning. Mathematical reasoning skills can be improved by applying mpdel jigsaw cooperative learning. Because the cooperative learning model jigsaw specifically designing pemebelajaran to emphasize the involvement of the student to ask questions, express opinions, find information, search for alternative and effective way to solve mathematical problems. The purpose of this study is to determine: (1) the students' response to the jigsaw cooperative learning model, (2) the ability of mathematical reasoning with the implementation of cooperative learning model jigsaw, (3) the effect of the application of cooperative learning model jigsaw to mathematical reasoning abilities. Data collection techniques used are questionnaires and tests. The population is all students of MTs Al-Munawwir. Samples are class VII with the sampling technique using cluster random sampling. The results of this study are obtained by the positive response to the use of cooperative learning model jigsaw amounted to 77.10% and the average value of mathematical reasoning ability is equal to 76.54. After testing the hypothesis obtained that tcount (2.375)> t table (1.708), then Ho is rejected and Ha accepted, meaning that there is influence the implementation of cooperative learning model jigsaw to mathematical reasoning abilities. The regression equation Ŷ = 33.127 + 0,447X. Regression coefficient of 0.447 states that each additional (increased) use of cooperative learning model jigsaw will affect the ability of mathematical reasoning amounted to 0,447. The coefficient is positive, it means there is a positive relationship between cooperative learning model jigsaw to mathematical reasoning abilities. From the correlation coefficient of 0.429 was obtained an index of determination of 0.184, which means 18.4% of mathematical reasoning ability is determined by the use of cooperative learning model jigsaw and the remaining 81.6% is influenced by other factors.

TIPE JIGSAW TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN PENALARAN MATEMATIKA
Pembelajaran matematika di sekolah memiliki tujuan mengajarkan kepada siswa
tentang berpikir logis, analitis, sistematis, kritis dan kreatif serta mempunyai kemampuan kerjasama. Artinya pembelajaran matematika harus bisa meningkatkan kemampuan penalaran matematis. Kemampuan penalaran matematika dapat ditingkatkan dengan cara menerapkan mpdel pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw. Karena dalam model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw merancang khusus pemebelajaran untuk menekankan keaktifan siswa untuk bertanya, mengemukakan pendapat, menemukan informasi, mencari cara alternatif dan efektif untuk menyelesaikan masalah matematika. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: (1) respon siswa terhadap model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw, (2) kemampuan penalaran matematika dengan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw, (3) pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw terhadap kemampuan penalaran matematika. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah kuesioner dan tes. Populasinya adalah semua siswa MTs Al- Munawwir. Sampel penelitian adalah kelas VII dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan cluster random sampling. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu diperoleh respon positif terhadap penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw sebesar 77,10% dan nilai rata-rata kemampuan penalaran matematika adalah sebesar 76,54. Setelah melakukan pengujian hipotesis diperoleh bahwa thitung (2,375) > ttabel (1,708), maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, artinya ada pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw terhadap kemampuan penalaran matematika. Persamaan regresi Ŷ=33,127+0,447X. Koefisien regresinya sebesar 0,447 menyatakan bahwa setiap penambahan (peningkatan) penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw akan mempengaruhi kemampuan penalaran matematika sebesar 0,447. Koefisien bernilai positif artinya terjadi hubungan positif antara model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw terhadap kemampuan penalaran matematika. Dari koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,429 diperoleh indeks determinasi sebesar 0,184 yang berarti 18,4% kemampuan penalaran matematika ditentukan oleh penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw dan sisanya sebesar 81,6% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain.
