Holy Spirit fetes youth service partners in annual get-
together for Thanksgiving and Christmas Fellowship
Program
On December 23, 2017, RC Holy Spirit
tendered a Christmas fellowship party for
Rotaractors and Interactors of Holy Spirit
at the residence of Ric & Marcia Salvador.
There were 65 who joined in the fun, in-
cluding past officers Kim Berganting, Elmo
Roa and Romeo Pancho who were enthu-
siastically welcomed.

The annual event is traditionally held as a


means of expressing appreciation for the
youth’s active participation in the delivery
of Rotary service to less fortunate mem-
bers of the community and for consistent
demonstration of service-above-self mind-

Mother risks ruining Christmas by replacing presents with
a charitable lesson

cleft, called Tien, who particularly stood out to us. Tien
was absolutely gorgeous and full of life, she was too
young to know that there was anything wrong with her.
We met her mother and father, who told us that they had
travelled all the way from a small island in South Vietnam
so that their daughter could be treated.”

After hearing Tien’s story, Susu’s son and daughter immedi-


ately decided to combine their Christmas money, and offered
to pay for Tien’s cleft surgery and travel money.
On 23rd December 2016, Susu Stinton, a 46-year-old mother from
