Method for Dissolution Rate

AD % at 120 seconds

Take 50 ml of 24 FH hardness water in 1000 ml beaker and make up with distill water

Add 3 gm sample in the above mention 1000 ml beaker

Stirr it at 100 RPM for 120 seconds

Take 50 ml solution at 120 seconds

Filter with the above mention 50 ml with whattman 541

Take the 25 ml filtrate +10 ml chloroform+15 ml dimedium bromide+2ml ortho phosphoric acid

Titrate the above mention with hyamine solution and calculate the AD

B.Rx Molecular weight of the AD (345) x hyamine molarity x 1000 = % AD

10 x volume of sample x weight of sample ( 3 gram )

Total AD

Take 10 gram sample in 1000 ml distill water .

Stir it on hot plate

Take 25 ml sample +10 ml chloroform+15 ml dimedium bromide+2ml ortho phosphoric acid

Titrate the above mention with hyamine solution and calculate the AD

B.Rx Molecular weight of the AD (345) x hyamine molarity x 1000 = Total AD

10 x volume of sample x weight of sample ( 10 gram )
