Echo Slab Layout Approval / Instruction

Echo is requesting that you approve the slab layout as indicated on the attached drawing(s)
This approval serves to confirm that the superstructure is designed to support our slabs as indicated on our drawings, including :

1. Confirmation that this specific supporting structure , including the foundations , complies with regulations , as
as set out in construction regulations.
2. and is structurally adequate to support the Echo Hollow Core slabs .
3. Confirmation of the extent of the area covered by the hollow core slabs.
4. Layout and span direction of the hollow core slabs.
5. Cantilver positions and dimensions.
6. Weather steps.
7. Service ducts and dimensions.
8. Minimum number of lintels and brickworl support required over openings.

Please note : Echo Engineers are certifying the slabs and this document is not for slab certification .
Echo will provide : SANS 10400-A:2010 (Edition 3 )
As per National Building Regulations and Building Standard Act, 1977 ( Act No. 103 of 1977 )
Echo takes resposibility for the structural integrity of the hollow core slabs designed for the project.
